PA lament the imprisonment of two Palestinian terrorist murderers, and deny the legitimacy of the Israeli courts

Headline: “The occupation (i.e., Israel) sentenced prisoner Yusuf Kmeil to 4 years in addition to life imprisonment” 

 

“The [PLO] Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs reported yesterday evening, that the so-called Israeli ‘Salem Court’ (i.e., the Samaria Military Court) sentenced prisoner Yusuf Khaled Kmeil (i.e., terrorist, murdered 1 person together with an accomplice) from the town of Qabatiya in the Jenin district to 4 years of imprisonment in addition to the life sentence which he was sentenced to in 2017. 

The commission explained that prisoner Kmeil, 23, was arrested in 2017 together with prisoner Muhammad Abu Al-Rub (i.e., Kmeil’s accomplice in the murder), and that the so-called ‘Lod Court’ sentenced each of the two to life and a monetary ‘compensation’ of a total of 258,000 [Israeli] shekels on the pretext of killing a settler within the 1948 territories (i.e., Israel).” 

 

Yusuf Kmeil and Muhammad Abu Al-Rub – Palestinian terrorists who admitted to murdering Israeli civilian Reuven Shmerling, 70, with a knife and pickaxe in a warehouse owned by Shmerling in the Israeli Arab city of Kafr Qassem, east of Tel Aviv, on Oct. 4, 2017. Kmeil and Al-Rub are each serving a life sentence.
