[PA] President [Mahmoud] Abbas' advisor on Foreign Affairs and International Relations Nabil Shaath, District Governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh Laila Ghannam, and [PA] Minister of Justice Ali Abu Diyak were present at the mass… District Governor Ghannam honored Father Shoumali on behalf of the district and its institutions. She noted that ‘The integration of all residents of the district brings everyone pride,’ and said: ‘Jesus is a Palestinian, and the occupier’s bullets do not differentiate between one Palestinian and another. We are all partners to the struggle, building, and making decisions.’”
