Fatah official: The PA led the second Intifada

Fatah Central Committee member, Tawfiq Tirawi: "The [PA] Security Forces were the ones that led the second Intifada (i.e., PA terror campaign 2000-2005), and, before that, the Tunnel Intifada (3 days of riots in 1996). Today, there are over 300 or 400 Palestinian officers from all the Security Forces in [Israeli] prison. They include prisoners who were sentenced to over 200 or 300 years. There were over 200 Martyrs. All the headquarters of the Security Forces were destroyed. These are national Security Forces - Security Forces with a history of struggle."
