Israel is a colonialist implant
Israel is a colonialist implant
The PA created an odious alternative history to denigrate the rebirth of the State of Israel and deny Israel’s right to exist. Since Jews, they say, never had a history in the Land of Israel and therefore never would have started the Zionist movement on their own, an imaginative story had to be created to explain Jewish renaissance in Israel. Accordingly, they teach that Jews were so evil in every country they inhabited for thousands of years that the nations of the world were forced to persecute and often expel them – as acts of self-defense. According to the PA libel, the repeated persecutions and expulsions of Jews are proof that the world agrees about the evil nature of Jews. Britain and Europe were suffering last century from their Jews in their countries, and therefore created Zionism in order to be rid of their Jewish “burden.” The Land of Israel was chosen by the Europeans, in this scenario, as the place to send the Jews in order to control and steal the “natural resources” of the Middle East. This is what the PA is referring to in its schoolbooks and official media when they refer to Israel as an imperialist colonial implant.

This article is an early expression of this ideology in the official PA daily in 1998:
“The difference between Hitler and [British Foreign Minister] Balfour was simple: the former [Hitler] did not have colonies to send the Jews so he destroyed them, whereas Balfour… [turned] Palestine into his colony and sent the Jews. Balfour is Hitler with colonies, while Hitler is Balfour without colonies. They both wanted to get rid of the Jews… Zionism was crucial to the defense of the West’s interests in the region, [by] ridding Europe of the burden of its Jews.”
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Dec. 6, 1998]

This video is a recent expression of this PA ideology, on PA TV:
“Europe, led by Britain, founded Israel... We, as Arabs, as negotiators, as Palestinians when we meet with Europeans [should say]: 'You created and implanted a thieving entity upon Palestinian land...' As they implanted [Jews here] they got rid of [Jews there] and I do not wish to elaborate on this. The Jews in the time of Herzl caused European societies to lose sleep. They wanted to be rid of them, and implanted them in Palestine."

Fatah: Modern Jews have no connection to ancient "Jewish Arab tribes" who lived in Israel
Source: Official Fatah Facebook page, July 7, 2016
Text posted on the official Fatah Facebook page
“Fadel Al-Rabi'i: Regarding the ‘Judaism of the state’…
Judaism is an ancient Arab religion, and there is no doubt about this, as this religion did not appear in Scotland or Mexico, the prophet Moses is not a Danish prince, and King David is not a British nobleman. As it is an ancient Arab religion, the groups that took Judaism on themselves 2,000 years ago were certainly not German or Viking tribes, but Arab tribes. This means that the Jews of the distant past who settled in southern Al-Sham (Palestine) [parentheses in source] were Jewish Arab tribes, and not immigrants brought by the Jewish Agency in ships.
In this context alone, every false claim must be rejected regarding the blood connection between a French or American Jew and the Children of Israel, as that is like a claim that the Christians in the US are the descendants of the Jacobites in Balad Al-Sham (i.e., the area of Syria, Lebanon, and northern Israel)...
Due to all this, the modern Jews do not have the right to take over the heritage of the ancient Arab tribe known in history as the Children of Israel just because at some point they took upon themselves the religion of this tribe... There is no archeological or cultural remnant that verifies, points to, or even hints that the European Jews, for example, are descendants of the Arab Jews who accepted Judaism 2,000 years ago. And if one foolishly insists on considering today’s Jews as the natural continuation/descendants of the Jews of the past, in this case every Jew, whatever his original citizenship, needs to consider himself an Arab returning to his ethnic roots according to this claim, and therefore he has no right, in any way to [make] religious-historic demands.”

Fatah spokesman: Israel views Quartet report as a "green light to continue its terror, violence, incitement, and theft of our lands"
Source: Donia Al-Watan (independent Palestinian news agency), July 6, 2016
Headline: “[Fatah Spokesman Osama] Al-Qawasmi: Israel viewed the Quartet report as a green light to act violently against the Palestinian people”
“The Fatah Movement said that the Israeli occupation state viewed the Quartet (i.e., Middle East Quartet: US, EU, Russia, and UN) report that is slanted in its favor as a green light to increase its violence against and oppression of the Palestinian people, and to continue its colonial settlement project, whose purpose is to uproot the Palestinians from their lands and homes for the benefit of the settlers who are stealing our land and property by force of weapons.
[Fatah Spokesman Osama] Al-Qawasmi clarified in a press statement that those who phrased the Quartet report ignored the suffering of the Palestinian people and international law, described our legal struggle against the Israeli settlement, occupation, and racism as incitement and violence, and ignored the real incitement and the organized state terror that Israel perpetrates against the Palestinian people, are the ones who at this moment are giving it (i.e., Israel) a green light to continue its terror, violence, incitement, and theft of our lands.”

Quartet report, July 1, 2016 – A report in which the Quartet (US, EU, Russia, and UN) reiterated its position that “a negotiated two-state outcome is the only way to achieve an enduring peace that meets Israeli security needs and Palestinian aspirations for statehood and sovereignty, ends the occupation that began in 1967, and resolves all permanent status issues.” Click "full article" for more information.
PA Foreign Ministry: “Colonialist” Israel is “Judaizing Jerusalem”; fabricating history to destroy Arab connection
Source: WAFA, official PA news agency, June 22, 2016
Headline: "The [PA] Foreign Ministry held the Israeli government responsible for the consequences of its excavations under Jerusalem"

"Today, Wednesday [June 22, 2016], the [PA] Foreign Ministry held the Israeli government responsible for the consequences of its colonialist excavations under Jerusalem. The ministry made a statement that the extreme right-wing government of [Israeli Prime Minister] Benjamin Netanyahu 'continues to use all its capabilities in its all-out war against occupied East Jerusalem and the Palestinian presence within it, in order to complete its arbitrary Judaization actions and separate it from its Palestinian surroundings. In order to accomplish this, the Israeli occupation authorities and their various branches and organizations are trying to change the state’s character and distort its Arab Palestinian identity by far-reaching forgeries on two levels – above ground and underground. Above ground, by building settlement cities, paving a wide network of roads, taking over many Palestinian homes in the Old City [of Jerusalem] and the Arab neighborhoods in the city and expelling their residents, and by wholesale Palestinian home demolitions. Meanwhile, underground the occupation authorities are forging all the historical facts that are found in the belly of the earth and that verify the Arabness of Jerusalem.'

The ministry added that in order to achieve this 'Since 1967 the occupation state has continued to excavate a widespread network of tunnels, passages, and plazas, to establish underground synagogues, and to play with the historical antiquities found in the belly [of the ground]. This was recently exposed in the Hebrew media, which verified that the excavations taking place under the Old City and the Palestinian villages that surround it are being done for political motives, in order to create new facts that will be in line with the ideology of the extreme right that is ruling in Israel.
Palestinian political analyst legitimizes murder of Israeli civilians: "Since it is a colonial, settler, racist, occupying entity, all of those in it are soldiers"
Source: Al-Ayyam, June 15, 2016
Headline: “Tel Aviv operation (i.e., terror attack, 4 murdered) – between the sanctification of the weapon and its definition as a crime”
Op-ed by senior Palestinian political analyst and columnist Hani Al-Masri
“If the main method of activity is appropriate for a certain period, that doesn’t mean that it is necessary to negate, reject, or condemn other types. On the contrary, the experience of struggle throughout history, including the Palestinian experience and the experience of India, South Africa and others, has proven that it is possible to integrate peaceful and armed methods of struggle, whether the method of the struggle at one stage or another is peaceful or armed, and no one side can alone determine the appropriate method of struggle. The nature of the conflict, its unique characteristics, the circumstances, the factors influencing it, and the conduct of the other side are what actively contribute to determining the method that will be adopted...
Armed resistance must always be present, as it is an anchored right, and it must be carried out in accordance with the circumstances, and must not be altogether uprooted, nor defined as a crime under any circumstances...
Likewise, we cannot help but examine the matter of harming civilians in Israel. Since it is a colonial, settler, racist, occupying entity, all of those in it are soldiers, and the proof of this is that weapons are common in all the different regions, and hundreds of thousands of civilians carry them on the streets. All of them, other than the ultra-orthodox Jews, serve in the army. However, most of the ultra-orthodox Jews, like all the rest, are radicals who incite the murder of non-Jews."

Fatah student movement: Israel plans to "expel" Jerusalem's residents and "Judaize" it as part of the "plot of the Zionist colonialist expansion"
Source: Wattan (independent Palestinian news agency)‎, May 23, 2016
Headline: “Fatah’s Shabiba: The fact that Israel displayed a misleading sign regarding the reality of Jerusalem constitutes the issue of a challenge to the international community”
“Fatah’s Shabiba [student] movement issued a statement in which it emphasized that Jerusalem was and will remain the eternal capital of our Arab Palestinian people, and that all the activity of the illegal occupation will not succeed in hiding the truth and changing its Canaanite Arab Islamic and Christian character. Likewise, it emphasized that the fact that the right-wing extremist [Israeli] government tried to falsify the facts a number of days ago through the advertisement of a picture describing East Jerusalem as the capital of Israel (apparently referring to Israeli exhibition at the UN headquarters in New York –Ed.) is part of the Zionist movement’s plot to expel its residents and Judaize it on the way to completing the plot of the Zionist colonialist expansion at the expense of the Palestinian people and land.”
Fatah: Britain must recognize Palestinian state to make up for “historic sin” of Balfour Declaration
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 15, 2016

"Fatah demanded of Britain to recognize the historic right of our people to its homeland Palestine, because it was the [British] mandate state that laid the foundation for the establishment of Israel. Likewise, it [Fatah] demanded of it [Britain] that it recognize the State of Palestine in the borders of June 4 [1967] with Jerusalem as its capital, as a first stage and an expression of a sincere desire to make amends for its historic sin against our people."

Op-ed in Pa daily: "Colonialist" Israel was established by "capitalist Europe" to atone for the Holocaust

Headline: “Learning the lessons of the Holocaust”
Op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, columnist for official PA daily and advisor to former PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad on national affairs
“Last Thursday [May 5, 2016] was the 71st anniversary of the Holocaust (i.e., Israeli Holocaust Memorial Day) carried out by the Nazis against members of the Jewish religion, which claimed the lives of millions of them…  In order to atone for this despicable crime against the European Jews, capitalist Europe committed another crime: the establishment of the colonialist State of Israel on the ruins of the Nakba (i.e., “the catastrophe,” Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel) of the Palestinian people..."
Official PA daily op-ed: Israel "maintains a colonial settlement, holds arsenals of nuclear, biological, chemical... weapons," while Palestinian rocks and knives are legitimate self-defense
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Apr. 26, 2016
Headline: “The establishment of a committee to monitor the incitement”
Op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, columnist for official PA daily and advisor to former PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad on national affairs
“The Israeli incitement against the Palestinian leadership and people encompasses all aspects of life, and it is biased incitement that has no basis in real facts, but twists the facts, falsifies and mixes up information, moving away from the basic pillars of the Arab/Palestinian – Israeli conflict. This incitement is based on denying the right of the Palestinian to defend himself and his national narrative, and includes the falsification and distortion of data and quotes, and exaggeration [of some] details at the expense of the main issues. For instance, the Israeli wars and their crimes turn into ‘defense’ of residents on the border, and according to the logic of the Western countries working in coordination with Israel, the equation is reversed: ‘It is Israel’s right to defend itself!’ The occupying state, which maintains a colonial settlement [enterprise], holds arsenals of nuclear, biological, chemical, conventional, land, marine, and aerial weapons, perpetrates all types of killing, destruction and burning of citizens, their fields, their homes, etc., against the unarmed Palestinian people that is subject to occupation for the last 70 years, and has nothing at its disposal but its resolve, rocks, and knives – and yet it [the Palestinian people] is required to ‘condemn’ its struggle, because it is viewed as ’terror’ in the eyes of the capitalist West, the Americans, and the Europeans, and even when the [Palestinian] people marks its annual Martyrs’ (Shahids’) Day, it becomes ‘incitement’ and violence.”
Qalqilya governor: Balfour Declaration is a "crime against Palestinians" that "paved the way for the theft of their land"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Apr. 13, 2016
Headline: "Conference on summary executions and persecuting their perpetrators in the International Criminal Court"
"During the conference organized by the Al-Quds Open University, the Authority for Political and National Guidance, and the Fatah Movement, titled The Summary Executions and Persecuting their Perpetrators in the International Criminal Court… [Qalqilya] District Governor [Rafe' Rawajbeh] noted that the crime of [the Israeli] occupation stretches from 1948 to the present, and emphasized that the occupation is a crime and that the Balfour Promise (i.e., Declaration) is a crime against the Palestinians as it paved the way for the theft of their land."

The Balfour Declaration of Nov. 2, 1917 was a letter from British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour to Baron Rothschild stating that “His Majesty's government views with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people” and is seen as the basis for later international commitments to establish the State of Israel.
US and Europe "exported" the "Jewish terror to Palestine," Israel is "the ugliest form of terror"
Source: Facebook page of Adnan Al-Damiri, the official spokesman of the PA Security Forces, Mar. 22, 2016
Text posted by PA Security Forces Spokesman Adnan Al-Damiri on his Facebook page on March 22, 2016, following the March 22, 2016 terror attacks in Brussels that killed at least 31 and injured hundreds: "While we condemn and denounce terrorist acts everywhere in the world, we Arabs are the ones who have been most severely burned by the fire of terror, which has been created and exported by the US and Europe since the Arab Jihad fighters in Afghanistan, and before that by exporting the Jewish terror to Palestine, supporting it and justifying it. Today, Europe is being burnt by its [the terror's] fire in its airports and squares. I do not gloat but feel pain over every innocent soul that was killed, but those who prepare the poison will taste it themselves, and today Europe is having a taste of what it prepared with its own hands. Unless you fight terror everywhere, first and foremost in Palestine, since the [Israeli] occupation is the ugliest form of terror, as well as in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Egypt, Tunisia and Jordan - you will be burnt by its fire, and terror has no religion."

Op-ed in official PA daily: Israel “was established on the foundations of colonialism”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Feb. 20, 2016
Headline: "[Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu and the French Initiative"
Op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, columnist for official PA daily
"What happened in the southern districts (the Gaza Strip) [parentheses in source] in 2007 (- Hamas military takeover of the Gaza Strip from the PA/Fatah –Ed.) occurred with the support and aid of the Israeli government at the time, which served as a cover and supporting body for the Hamas coup against Palestinian legitimacy for Israeli strategic reasons. Likewise, Netanyahu has no right to talk about the model of extreme countries as long as his country exists. This is because this state was established on the foundations of colonialism and still maintains traditional colonialism in the Palestinian territories, and violates international conventions, regulations, and resolutions, and refuses on principle to pay its dues of the peace process. Therefore, the Prime Minister of the herds of settlers (i.e., Benjamin Netanyahu) has no right to talk about extreme countries, because Israel, and behind it the US, and countries in the region that follow it, are those that allowed the same extremist groups to multiply in the Arab arena like mushrooms [after rain], in order to achieve their goals and take apart and redivide the states and the peoples of the Arab nation into small, religious, sectarian, and ethnic states."

PA daily op-ed: “Colonialist” Israel was created to stop Arab countries from developing and to fragment them
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Feb. 7, 2016
Headline: “Problems of the Arab democracy”

Excerpt of op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, columnist for official PA daily, in which he describes 10 obstacles that the development of democracy in Arab countries faces. Following is one of them:

“The colonialist state of Israel which expels [the local inhabitants] and settles [in their place] was created at the heart of the Arab world on the ruins of the Palestinian people’s Nakba (i.e., “the catastrophe,” Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel). This state is a time bomb exploding incessantly in colonial wars. The purpose of its creation was to consume the Arab peoples’ potential to develop, to thwart and neutralize every option of development in every country of the Arab world, to damage the project of complete liberation from subordination to colonialism in its old and new forms, to prevent the pan-Arab revival project from achieving its goals – unity, freedom, justice, and sustainable development – and to act to deepen the process of fragmentation in Arab countries.”
Fatah Commissioner: Israel is “a ‎colonialist project on our land”‎

It called on ‎Europe to take immediate steps to protect ‎the option of the Palestinian state in the ‎framework of a two-state solution from the ‎unilateral steps being taken by the ‎occupation…‎ Fatah Commissioner of International ‎Relations and Fatah Central Committee ‎member Nabil Shaath stated: ‘The ‎decision made by the council of EU ‎Foreign Ministers yesterday [Jan. 18, ‎‎2016] regarding the Palestinian issue is ‎very positive. It is a step forward, which in ‎the end has to lead to severe sanctions ‎against Israel, in order to fight its [Israel’s] ‎colonialist project on our land’…‎ Shaath emphasized that it is important to ‎complete the diplomatic successes by ‎achieving national unity and the end of ‎the rift (i.e., between Fatah and Hamas), in ‎order to strengthen the Palestinian ‎positon and support the present intifada ‎and popular resistance.”‎

"Faced with the Jews' schemes, Europe could not bear their character traits, monopolies, corruption, and their control and climbing up positions in government. In 1290, King Edward I issued a decree banishing the Jews [from England]. Following him were France, Germany, Austria, Holland, Czechoslovakia, Spain and Italy. The European nations felt that they had suffered a tragedy by providing refuge for the Jews. Later the Jews obtained the Balfour Declaration, and Europe saw it as an ideal solution to get rid of them."

Israel was “unnaturally” established by colonialism, “as an idea to get rid of the European Jewish problem”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Dec. 8, 2015
Op-ed by Muwaffaq Matar, columnist for official PA daily
“The occupation state, ‘Israel,’ which was established outside the natural historical framework of the formation of countries in this civilized part of the world, and came into the world following illegal competitive relations between the worldwide promoters of colonialism, and as an idea to get rid of the European Jewish problem, after all the attention the world has lavished on it [Israel], whether willingly or unwillingly, today pulls out the sword of enmity and rebellion against international law. The same law that has guaranteed it since its establishment was announced in the partition resolution in 1947 (the UN partition plan of 1947, which called for the creation of a Jewish state and an Arab state in the former British Mandate for Palestine, and which was rejected by the Palestinians –Ed.) , and it was given the birth certificate of a state, under certain conditions, which is located within the natural and historical borders of Palestine, in other words, what we call the fourth of June borders. This was after it went beyond the interpretations of the partition resolution and forcefully took over parts of the territories that the partition resolution called ‘the Arab state’ at the time! It is possible that the rebellion and non-compliance is a natural matter among most of those who were born outside the legal framework of regulations, values, and laws, and Israel has left compliance with international laws regarding human rights outside of its conduct regarding the Palestinian people, which has the natural and historical right to Palestine, all of Palestine.”

: "No to terror"
"Likewise, the Israeli-American-Takfiri terror hurt (sic, killed) 224 innocent Russians, when a passenger plane was blown up on the 31st of last October [2015]… The real cause of terror are the colonial countries, whatever their type of colonialism – old-school like the Israeli occupation, which has hung over Palestinian lands since the Nakba (i.e., “the catastrophe,” Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel) in 1948, and afterward in 1967, or new, like what the US is doing, violating the basic human rights of weak and poor peoples in third world countries."
