Sultan Abu Al-Einein
Sultan Abu Al-Einein was a member of the Fatah Central committee from August 2009 until November 2016, when he was not reelected at the Seventh Fatah Conference. However, he remains a senior member of the Fatah party.

On May 2, 2013, PMW reported that Abbas advisor Sultan Abu Al-Einein glorified a murderer for killing an Israeli father of five. In response, five members of US Congress wrote a letter to Abbas demanding Abu Al-Einein be removed from office. Despite the letter, Abu Al-Einein was not removed from office at the time. On July 15, 2016, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on Abbas to fire Abu Al-Einein, citing PMW's documentation that Abu Al-Einein had said in an interview, "Every place you find an Israeli - slit his throat."

Likewise, he said that it is a foolish step that will ignite the situation in the street, and added during a TV interview that this will increase the Palestinian rage that has been caused by the Israeli arrogance of continuing the construction of the settlements."

However, he remains a senior member of the Fatah party.

Abbas advisor tells teens: Israel puts knives next to bodies of unarmed Martyrs, Israelis say "the murder of a Palestinian has holiness like the holiness of the Sabbath"

The video shows a speech given by Al-Einein at a ceremony in Hebron awarding high school diplomas to students who completed their matriculation exams.
Advisor to PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas on NGOs and Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein: “Most of our Martyrs (Shahids), gentlemen, were executed [only] out of a motive of hatred by the bullets of the oppressive occupation. They (i.e., those killed) did not have a weapon in their hands. Next to some of them they (i.e., Israeli forces) threw a knife…
The extremist settlers call to kill every one of you, and say that the murder of a Palestinian has holiness like the holiness of the Sabbath (apparently a reference to the words of Safed Chief Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu in July 2016 –Ed.).”

Sultan Abu Al-Einein’s false claim that “extremist settlers” liken the murder of a Palestinian with the observance of the Sabbath appears to be loosely based on comments by Safed Chief Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, who in July 2016 spoke about taking action against terrorist murderers and said: “Revenge is a commandment of the Torah just like the commandment of the Sabbath.” He specified that by revenge he meant sanctions against them.
Fatah official criticizes Hamas: "Who gave you exclusivity over the resistance?"

“Sultan Abu Al-Einein: The Security Forces carried out an important role in their security campaign in the West Bank to maintain the popular peace”
“The Al-Quds newspaper interviewed Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein…
Q. What is your assessment of the security situation in Gaza, particularly after the repeated Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip in recent days?
A. Hamas… stops everyone who shoots rockets towards the areas under Israeli occupation. The statements of Hamas leadership member Mahmoud Al-Zahar say that Hamas is the exclusive representative of the resistance in Gaza, and that in its opinion, it is the one that decides on the timing of any conflict with the Israeli side as part of its sick narrow partisan considerations, the price of which is paid by the Palestinian people. However, no one can sell us the principles of resistance or teach them to us, because a people that relinquishes the defense of its occupied land is a people without honor… No one can claim exclusivity over the resistance, because the defense of the homeland is everyone’s obligation, and not the monopoly of any specific body. Unfortunately, Hamas boasts about the arrest of those shooting rockets from among the Palestinian organizations, and here, let me ask Hamas: Who gave you exclusivity over the resistance? Who said that only you are worthy of carrying it out? Who gave you the right to shoot at the Israelis while others are prevented from doing so? If there are secret agreements with Israel, Turkey, and Qatar, and Hamas is implementing their secret clauses, that is another matter, and it is of course serious.”
Murabitin Council holds “solidarity visit” with Fatah official who has “ongoing incitement campaign by Tel Aviv [against him[ (i.e., PMW exposure of his call to murder Israelis)”

These comments were made during a reception that he held for a delegation of the Murabitin Council (i.e., council of those carrying out Ribat, religious conflict/war to protect land claimed to be Islamic) in Jerusalem, which held a solidarity visit with Abu Al-Einein in light of the occupation’s steps against him and the ongoing incitement campaign by Tel Aviv in response to his positions that support the struggle of our people against the occupation (PMW exposed that Al-Einein said a Palestinian who meets an Israeli should “slit his throat” –Ed.).”

Abbas advisor accuses Israeli leaders of calling for rape and murder of Palestinians
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 24, 2016
Headline: “Abu Al-Einein: The occupation and terror are two sides of the same coin”
“[Advisor to PA Chairman Abbas on NGOs and] Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein said: ‘We preach for peace, and this peace will only be achieved when the occupation leaves our land.’ He held Israel fully responsible for the situation in Palestine. This was said during his meeting with a delegation from the committees of the national union of the non-government institutions in the northern districts (i.e., the West Bank), who made a solidarity visit with Abu Al-Einein on behalf of the union’s institutions. This was following the occupation’s steps against him and the incessant incitement campaign being carried out by Tel Aviv in response to his positions (that Palestinians should cut off the heads of every Israeli they meet –Ed.) that support the struggle of our occupied people…
Abu Al-Einein condemned the statements that incite against our people, being made by leaders of the occupation of all ranks – members of the occupation government, rabbis, and respected figures alike – in a call to murder our people, to rape our women, and to allow [the spilling of] our blood. He called on the international community to pay attention to these statements and to take revenge on those making them.
Abu Al-Einein added: ‘It is an honor for us to visit the families of the Martyrs (Shahids), the wounded, and the prisoners.’ He emphasized that the response of the Palestinian people is much less than the extent of the incitement (in words and in actions) [parentheses in source] of the occupation and its extreme right-wing government…
He concluded by saying that the continuation of the occupation is the reason for the violence in the region… and emphasized our people’s right to resist as long as the policy of land theft and set

“[Advisor to PA Chaiman Abbas on NGOs and] Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein minimized the importance of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s message to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in which he called for peace.

Abu Al-Einein stated in a press release, in response to Netanyahu’s demand that President Abbas fire him, that ‘our Palestinian people is the one being massacred daily by the Israelis at the direct order of the Israeli government without any deterrent.’

Abu Al-Einein emphasized that the presence of the settlers on Palestinian land is the main reason for the incitement in the Palestinian street, and added: ‘The whites in Africa did not relate to the blacks with the same racism like the settlers relate to our people, harassing it daily and stealing its land.’

He said: ‘It would be fitting if Netanyahu would stop spilling Palestinian blood and penetrating Palestinian territories, and would stop the settlement.’ Likewise, he noted that the occupation army has [made] a decision to create daily conflict with the Palestinians, and wondered: ‘Who is responsible for this?’

Abu Al-Einein accused the occupation soldiers of the cold-blooded murder of dozens of our Palestinian people who did not carry any knife, and blamed the continuing violence on the Israeli government that continues land theft and daily harassment.”

“Only a few days stand between us and the anniversary of the departure of the first bullet and the first stone, the engineer of the intifada, Commander Abu Jihad Khalil Al-Wazir. Those who lived by his side know his characteristics and nature. He acted in silence, and behind his silence hid the planning of a quality operation (i.e., terror attack) or operations in Palestine. Abu Jihad’s silence was more eloquent than the actions of our lost bullet, and the smell of gunpowder that occasionally comes to life in the skies of Palestine reminds those living that Abu Jihad still lives among our living.”

Abu Jihad (Khalil Al-Wazir) was a founder of Fatah and deputy to Yasser Arafat. He headed the PLO terror organization's military wing and also planned many deadly Fatah terror attacks. These attacks, which killed a total of 125 Israelis, included the most lethal in Israeli history - the hijacking of a bus and killing of 37 civilians, 12 of them children.

Interview with Fatah Central Committee member and PA President Mahmoud Abbas' advisor Sultan Abu Al-Einein
Donia Al-Watan interviewer: “Last question, in regard to the relations with Israel, regarding the popular uprising (reference to wave of Palestinian terror attacks which lasted October 2015 + March 2016 -Ed.) where is it leading? Where are we heading?”
Fatah Central Committee member and Abbas’ advisor Sultan Abu Al-Einein:
“Where is the popular uprising? Is this popular uprising? Is this resistance? IS this popular resistance?”
Donia Al-Watan interviewer: “In what direction are we heading?”
Fatah Central Committee member and Abbas’ advisor Sultan Abu Al-Einein: “These are acts of resistance [by] individuals. I kiss the hands of these children’s (i.e., terrorists who carried out attacks against Israel) families. However, can we say that this is resistance and that we have resistance? This is not resistance, not the resistance that we want. We want resistance that would hurt the occupation and demand of it a [heavy] price. When the resistance hurts the occupation and makes it pay [dearly], and the occupation pays a heavy price for its presence on Palestinian land, this will be the resistance we seek. As long as the resistance does not hurt and cost the occupation, it is not resistance. When the resistance hurts the Israeli enemy, it will be able to call itself resistance and take pride in it.”

Fatah Central Committee member Abbas Zaki: "She [Dalal Mughrabi] was chosen from among the young men to be the leader of the mission, and the director of the mission was [the person] of stature, Abu Jihad, who chose her to lead this mission. This mission is what established the Republic of Palestine for about 50 hours. Q:
"Do you have any final words for our people carrying out intifada in Palestine?"
Al-Einein: "Blessings to all of our Martyrs, to the residents of Jerusalem who had the honor of igniting the first spark of this activity, to all those who followed in their footsteps in the rest of the homeland, and to the residents of the Hebron district, who have sown fear in all of this cancerous Israeli body (Many of the terrorists have come from the Hebron district -Ed.). We bow before every drop of blood that has dripped from our children and women, and bow the head before every Martyr and Martyr's mother, who carried her child in her belly and brought him up until he became a young man, and when they notified her of his death as a Martyr, she let cries of joy loose to the Heavens. Abu Al-Einein emphasized in an interview with Radio Mawtini… the determination of the Palestinian people to confront the occupation's actions in every manner, and added: 'We are subject to systematic Israeli terror, and in light of the unusual circumstances being experienced by the Palestinian people, all manners of confrontation with the occupation are open to us."

PA leaders and officials have legitimized Palestinian violence by quoting UN resolution 3236 which "recognizes the right of the Palestinian people to regain its rights by all means." The PA interprets "all means" as including violence against civilians, but has chosen to ignore the continuation of the resolution which states that the use of "all means" should be "in accordance with the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations..." The UN Charter prohibits targeting civilians, even in war. Chapter 1, Article 1, opens by saying that "international disputes" should be resolved "by peaceful means."

Abbas advisor boasts that Fatah is "the largest force" behind the "popular uprising" but warns against violence while at the same time justifying it
Source: Donia Al-Watan (independent Palestinian news agency), Nov. 20, 2015
“[Advisor to PA Chairman Abbas on NGOs and] Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein… said that most of the Palestinian political forces are participating in the popular uprising, but emphasized that the Fatah movement is the largest force and primary one advancing it... Abu Al-Einein emphasized in an interview with [the independent Palestinian news agency] Donia Al-Watan that the Palestinian leadership is afraid that this uprising and popular activity will become military, and emphasized that turning it into such will cause damage and be more dangerous to the [Palestinian] public than the Israeli gunfire. Therefore, he called to form a political leadership in the field, so that the uprising will not deviate from its goals. What does the political leadership want from the popular uprising? Abu Al-Einein answered that the popular uprising exhausts Israel and its force, sows fear, and causes financial damage and damage security-wise, and that as long as the Israeli street worries, this is the value of popular uprising… Abu Al-Einein noted that the popular uprising will develop into an intifada in the coming days, but it will not be armed. However, on the same subject, he condemned the American bias, as American law in Texas matches the Palestinian situation, as it states that it is the right of every citizen to kill any armed person who intrudes on his land. According to Abu Al-Einein, the settlers are intruding on lands considered Palestinian, and taking over lands considered Palestinian according to international law, and therefore it is their right to fight the occupation by all means at their disposal.”

Fatah official rejects “armed resistance” but affirms “right” to “defend holy sites using every [possible] means”
Source: Donia Al-Watan (independent Palestinian news agency), Oct. 29, 2015
Headline: “Abu Al-Einein: ‘A month of popular activity puts the Palestinian cause back in its [natural] place’”
“Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein stated that the popular activity that has been taking place in the Palestinian territories for the past month has put the Palestinian cause back in its natural place, and he praised the national unification around the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem.
Abu Al-Einein emphasized, in a press release on the occasion of one month since the [beginning of] the popular activity against the Israeli occupation, the importance of the role of the popular uprising in securing the right of our Palestinian people to establish its independent state within the borders of 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
He likewise stressed that it is necessary to continue the popular confrontation with the Israeli occupation, and to draw lessons from our past experience and not be dragged into armed resistance, while protecting our right to defend our people and its holy sites, using every [possible] means and ways.  Abu Al-Einein encouraged the active participation of women in this popular activity. Moreover, he said about the Palestinian woman that “It is not possible to repay a woman who bids her Martyr son farewell with cries of joy and with happiness, except through the continuation of this activity until the Israeli occupation is swept from the territories of the State of Palestine.”

Video and text posted on the official Facebook page of Advisor to PA Chairman Abbas on NGOs and Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein. The video contained footage taken from security cameras of a terror attack in the Be'er Sheva central bus station on Oct. 18, 2015..
Text in post: "For a long time the Israeli enemy officials have been boasting about the strength of their army, and they have described it as an 'invincible army,' which has become the fourth strongest army in the world.  Yesterday [Oct. 18, 2015], we saw the exact truth of this army: A [well-] armed army which was beaten by Martyr Muhannad Al-Okabi (i.e., terrorist who shot and killed 1 and wounded 11), and before him Muhannad Halabi (i.e., terrorist who stabbed and killed 2 and wounded 2), even though he was defenseless, and was not armed with anything but his right to his homeland and his Palestinian will - the same will which the great armies of the world have not been and will not be able to defeat or harm.
How many messages of sacrifice are showing in this scene? Armed soldiers throwing down their weapons out of fear of Muhannad's knife, others seeking a wall or fence out of fear of you, hero that you are. We loved you, Muhannad. We loved you, while you sowed life for all Palestinians."

Senior Fatah official "supports, with all his might, the uprising and intifada… aimed at defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque" from "defilement" and "Judaization"
Source: Falestinona, website of Fatah's Information and Culture Commission in Lebanon, Oct. 14, 2015
“Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein stated: ‘President Mahmoud Abbas is the head of the Palestinian legitimacy and president of all Palestinians. The Fatah movement stands united at its people’s side, with no side-disputes and takes a responsible standpoint in our people’s recent confrontations.’ Moreover, he emphasized that he personally supports, with all his might, the uprising and the intifada of our young people, aimed at defending Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and this is the [Fatah] movement’s position. Abu Al-Einein added that the fact that the occupiers revoked his VIP document will not influence his position calling to support the uprising and the intifada of our heroic Palestinian people, in order to defend Jerusalem against the Judaization and crush the plot to divide the Al-Aqsa Mosque according to areas and times...
Abu Al-Einin continued responding to the report: ‘There are no disagreements in Fatah, and there is no right and left. It leads its heroic people in crucial historic moments, and there is no room for supporters and opponents, in light of this crucial historic situation of our national cause. We will undoubtedly defeat the arrogance of the cowardly settlers who are protected by the occupation army, armed with billions of dollars, while we, our youth and our children come out with our cold weapons (i.e., stones, knifes, etc.) to fight back and to defend our Al-Aqsa [Mosque] from any kind of defilement.”

Abbas advisor calls for Palestinians to arm themselves “and confront the settlers,” saying this is Fatah’s official position

This step means nothing when Palestinian blood is spilled.’
Abu Al-Einein added that his call to arm the [Palestinian] citizens in order to confront the settlers and the occupation is the [Fatah] movement’s position, even if ‘some’ do not like it.
He noted that this is not only his personal position, and stressed his insistence on this call… It should be noted that the occupation informed Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein of the [revocation] of his VIP document during his trip to Jordan today [Oct. 13, 2015], (Tuesday).”

The last thing the Martyr wrote on his Facebook page, 21 hours before he carried out his heroic operation was: ‘According to what I see, the third Intifada (i.e., Palestinian wave of violence and terror against Israel) has already broken out. What is happening in Jerusalem is what is happening to our holy sites and the place from where our Prophet [Muhammad] set out on his Night Journey (i.e., the Al-Aqsa Mosque), and what is happening to the women of the Al-Aqsa [Mosque] is what is happening to our mothers and sisters, and I do not think the people should succumb to this humiliation.”

Abbas' advisor: "The Israeli enemy aims to destroy about half of the Al-Aqsa Mosque… and build the alleged Temple in its place"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Sept. 14, 2015
"Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein warned of the Israeli enemy's attack against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem... Abu Al-Einein stated that the Israeli enemy aims to destroy about half of the Al-Aqsa Mosque after it completely takes it over, and called on the Arab and Islamic nations to intervene immediately on all levels in order to restrain Israel and defend the Al-Aqsa Mosque from what the Jewish extremists are plotting against it. Abu Al-Einein called on our people everywhere to come to Al-Aqsa and carry out Ribat (religious conflict/war to protect land claimed to be Islamic -Ed.), and not to leave it as easy prey for the plots of the Israeli extremist right to destroy it and build the alleged Temple in its place.
He concluded with a call to Fatah movement members and all of the factions to enlist for Jerusalem and carry out widespread public uprisings, in order to make the enemy pay a price for its actions 'because the hand that will be raised against the Al-Aqsa [Mosque] will be amputated.'"

The list is long, as not a week goes by without a crime of the murder of a child or youth who has not yet come of age…

Abbas advisor anticipates day when Israel is "defeated, its settlers expelled, and Palestine is purified from their filth"
Source: Facebook page of Advisor to PA Chairman Abbas on NGOs and member of Fatah Central Committee Sultan Abu Al-Einein, July 7, 2015
Posted to Facebook page of Advisor to PA Chairman Abbas on NGOs and member of Fatah Central Committee Sultan Abu Al-Einein on July 7, 2015, a few days after the death of Muhammad Al-Kusbeh, who participated in throwing stones at an Israeli army force near the Qalandiya refugee camp on July 3, 2015. Al-Kusbeh was killed by gunfire from Israeli soldiers whose vehicle came under attack. Palestinian reports claimed Al-Kusbeh was shot while trying to climb over the separation fence.
“We have no more concessions to make, but we should have more options. In the next conflict, we need to open all the gates so the Martyrs will be at peace in their last resting place, so the bereaved mothers will be satisfied, so the wounds of our injured will heal, and so that the prisoners will hold their heads high to Heaven. This nation will not remain silent for long about this piracy and these crimes, while drawing its high motivation from the saying ‘The darkest hours are those before dawn,’ and the dawn of our people will come. It will come when its country is formed, when the land of its homeland is completely liberated, when its hostages return, when the hated occupation is defeated, and its settlers expelled, and Palestine is purified from them and their filth.”

Abbas’ advisor romanticizes most lethal attack against Israel, terrorist murderers are “heroes”
Source: Facebook page of Advisor to PA Chairman Abbas on NGOs and member of Fatah Central Committee Sultan Abu Al-Einein, Mar. 11, 2015
In March 1978, Dalal Mughrabi led a group of Fatah terrorists from Lebanon and hijacked a bus on Israel's Coastal Highway. Confronted by the Israeli army, the terrorists killed many of the passengers on the bus, in total 37 civilians, 12 of them children, and wounded more than 70.
Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein posted the following on his Facebook page, glorifying the attack and the terrorists who carried it out:

Posted text: “On the early morning of Saturday, March 11, 1978, a [small] band [of Palestinian fighters] sailed from Deir Yassin on a cargo ship, which, it was decided, would transport them to a [point] 12 miles from the Palestinian coast, after which the band sailed on in a simple boat towards the coast south of Haifa.
Thus Dalal Mughrabi arrived on the soil of the beloved homeland, and her dream came true. She and her friends crossed the beach towards the Haifa-Jaffa highway, near the colony of Herzliya, which was near their destination. They succeeded in halting a large bus with 30 Israeli passengers, and forced it to turn toward Tel Aviv ... The enemy forces destroyed the bus together with its passengers, and admitted to having sustained 42 fatalities and 85 casualties, in addition to [the loss of] two buses, six taxis and a military jeep. As a result, 11 heroes, including Dalal Mughrabi, died as Martyrs, while two were wounded and captured.”

Abbas’ advisor: "All the terrorist Zionists are like Islamic State"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Mar. 10, 2015
The following text was posted by PA Chairman Abbas’ advisor and Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein on his official Facebook page. Al-Einein’s comments followed a statement made by Israeli MP Avigdor Liberman at an elections conference in March 2015 during the Israeli election campaign, about Israeli Arab MPs who are disloyal to the State of Israel. Liberman said: "Those who are against us, there's nothing to be done – we need to pick up an ax and cut off his head," Liberman said. "Otherwise we won't survive here." [Ha’aretz, March 9, 2015]. Al-Einein’s comments were reprinted in the official PA daily, but with slight changes that seem to make the content less severe. The differences are indicated below.

“[Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor] Liberman proves that all the terrorist Zionists are like [the] Islamic State. Even if their language and conduct is different, or even if the knife has been replaced by an ax, their form of action is one [and the same]: terror… A call of the kind voiced by Liberman requires us to modify our statements… and to spread the culture of resistance in all its shapes, forms and manifestations, and even to reduce our daily loaf of bread in order to save for something stronger than Liberman’s axes, [and use it] to kill his ilk, who are all [like] Liberman. (In the official PA daily the word “kill” had been changed to “tackle” –Ed.) [...] I say to all our Palestinian people that peace is inconceivable, and that it is now impossible to go back to any [form of] negotiations with such people..."

Fatah official: Stabbing attack “was a natural response to the Israeli policy of oppression”
Source: Wattan News Agency, Dec. 4, 2014
“Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein condemned the occupation’s destruction of 20 buildings in the Shuafat refugee camp in Jerusalem. He said that the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, had chosen to launch his election campaign with an additional escalation in the Holy City… He emphasized that Israel and its settlers would not obtain security with aggression, for our nation has grown tired of the language of restraint, and has reached boiling point, especially in view of [Israel’s] shutting of the political horizon.
He said that Israel has closed every political window [of opportunity] on the two-state solution, and that our nation has many options. He also noted that the stabbing operation (i.e., attack) at the Rami Levy [supermarket] yesterday [Dec. 3, 2014] was a natural response to the Israeli policy of oppression against our people… At the end of his statement, Abu Al-Einein said that Israel was increasingly drawing the region toward violence and this policy would only encounter a similar [policy on the Palestinian side].
Abu Al-Einein warned that Netanyahu was deliberately using Jerusalem, the blood of the Palestinian people, the construction of settlements and cold-blooded murder as a ballot box, and called on the Palestinian people to forget their [factional] rifts and join the effort to fight the Israeli occupation’s racist policy.”

Fatah leaders calls on Palestinians to “fight” for Al-Aqsa and “liberate it”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 8, 2014
“The national and Islamic factions, forces and activists in the Hebron district took part in [several] well-attended marches yesterday, Friday [Nov. 8, 2014] in support of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. One of the marches, organized by Fatah, left the Al-Hussein mosque after the Friday prayers… under the heading ‘For you, Al-Aqsa.’
Other marches were held in various areas of the district, during which protesters chanted angry slogans against the occupation and calls for support of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, including: ‘Al-Aqsa’s gate is made of iron, only the Martyr’s (Shahid’s) blood will open it,’ and ‘With spirit, with blood, we will redeem you, Al-Aqsa.’ They [the marches] ended with confrontations with the occupation forces… In a speech held during the march organized by [Fatah] in the city, Fatah Secretary in Hebron Imad Kharwat emphasized the importance of uniting in one rank to defend Al-Aqsa from the occupation’s attacks and the settlers’ constantly recurring invasions of its courtyards. Kharwat said: ‘All the Palestinian factions and forces throughout the homeland and the diaspora must awaken to defend Al-Aqsa, which is more exalted than any of these, until the words of our late leader Yasser Arafat are realized: A boy from among our boys and a girl from among our girls will raise the Palestinian flag over the minarets and church towers of Jerusalem.’ Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein said: ‘More mass popular activity is required in support of Al-Aqsa, for this mosque is the symbol of unity. It unites and does not divide, and it represents the nation’s honor. Let us fight for it to defend it and liberate it from the occupation’s filth.’”
Abbas advisor: Palestinians must go to Al-Aqsa Mosque, where Israel has to deal with the Murabitin (those carrying out Ribat)

Official PA TV News report on the demonstrations in Hebron in support of the Al-Aqsa Mosque

PA Chairman Abbas’ advisor on NGOs and Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein: “This (i.e., demonstrations in support of Al-Aqsa) reflects the setting out to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which the Messenger of Allah called us [to perform.] All the children of the homeland must be present at this clamorous confrontation with the Israeli enemy, which has infested our holy places in Al-Aqsa. For the first time, [the occupation] has entered into the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and is dealing with the Murabitin (those who carry out Ribat, (religious conflict/war over land claimed to be Islamic) there with bullets and tear gas.”

Note: In a Hadith, Muhammad is said to have called Muslims to “set out” for three mosques – Al-Masjid al-Haram (in Mecca), Al-Masjid Al-Nabaw? (in Medina) and Al-Aqsa.

On Oct. 29, 2014, Islamic Jihad member and released prisoner Mutaz Hijazi shot Rabbi Yehuda Glick at point-blank range in an attempt to assassinate him. Rabbi Glick was seriously wounded in the attack. Hijazi was killed the following day after opening fire on the Israeli policemen who came to arrest him.
Abbas’ advisor and Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein glorified terrorist Mutaz Hijazi on his Facebook page:

“My message to the heroic Martyr (Shahid) Mutaz Hijazi, the Martyr of Dawn, the Martyr of Jerusalem: I have met with your father on your behalf but was not able to meet with your mother in order to kiss her hands and her forehead for feeding you courage and bravery from her breast, making you the revolutionary who has shortened our path to freedom. Mutaz, Allah has honored you with Martyrdom (Shahada), for which all men yearn. Your bullets were a beacon [illuminating] a path that had become dark, the light of which will continue to shine for years to come. Rest in peace, for you have conveyed the message, that this is the shortest way to the freedom of nations. Your life has been the essence of the Palestinian people’s long experience of suffering, for you were a revolutionary, thereafter a prisoner, and finally a Martyr (Shahid).”

Abbas' advisor: Fatah and Hamas unity "is our weapon against the Israeli enemy"
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Sept. 23, 2014

Abbas’ advisor on NGOs, Sultan Abu Al-Einein:
“Our Palestinian national unity (i.e., between Fatah and Hamas) is our weapon against the Israeli enemy. We agree to the option of resistance in all its forms – we [Fatah] are the pioneers of the armed struggle. It's wrong to think that Fatah has abandoned the rifle or thrown away the rifle. We are giving peace a chance, but our rifle is still loaded with bullets... The time has come to agree on a system - if our [people] are killed, so theirs will be killed.”

Let us deprive their lives of security, so that the Palestinian land becomes a minefield against the occupation.'
Abu Al-Einein called on our people to block the movement of the settlers and prevent them from moving from place to place and from using Palestinian roads as if they were their own - so that their colonies become their prisons...
Abu Al-Einein said the settlers should go back a decade (i.e., to the second Intifada, the PA terror campaign 2000-2005) and recall the price of their presence on our land, and prepare themselves for the renewal of this model, [when] they did not dare move [around] without the protection of the occupation army."

Israeli Arabs and Palestinians consider it a national day.
Dalal Mughrabi led the most lethal terror attack in Israel’s history, known as the Coastal Road massacre, in 1978, when she and other Fatah terrorists hijacked a bus on Israel's Coastal Highway, killing 37 civilians, 12 of them children, and wounding over 70.

PA officials accuse PM Sharon of murdering Arafat and other Palestinian leaders

"The Palestinians hastened to welcome the news of Sharon's death. Deputy-Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee Jibril Rajoub told [news] agency [Agence] France-Presse: 'Sharon committed crimes against the Palestinian people and he is a murderer and responsible for the murder of deceased leader Yasser Arafat.' He added: 'We wished for him to be put on trial before the [International] Criminal Court in The Hague for his crimes against the Palestinian people and its leaders... Sharon established the official terror network against our people and he is the hero of Israel's state terrorism crimes in the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps in Lebanon in 1982.' In addition, he said that he [Ariel Sharon] 'is responsible for the murder of Arafat, of Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine [PFLP] Abu Ali Mustafa and of Hamas leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, as well as for the murder attempt on Khaled Mashaal, head of the Political Bureau of Hamas and on many Palestinian and Arab leaders.'
Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein, who was a PLO military commander in 1982, said: 'Sharon is a war criminal and a murderer and was directly involved in a number of massacres carried out against the Palestinians, beginning with the massacres at Deir Yassin and Qibya, continuing with the Sabra and Shatila massacre and ending with his final crime, which is the murder of Yasser Arafat... I wished for the day to come on which we would put Sharon on trial before an international court but now he is dead.      “[American] Congress members are demanding the expulsion of Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein because he visited the home of a young man accused of killing a settler. The Israeli media launched an attack against President Mahmoud Abbas and described him as the greatest supporter of terror and terrorists. The Israeli public diplomacy machine ignores daily crimes committed by settlers and the occupation forces’ crimes against children – as reported by the UN… It is assisted by the Israeli lobby in Congress that has become accustomed to being more Israeli than the Israelis and more occupying than the occupation.”

US request that Al-Einein be fired for glorifying murder is “cowboy logic devoid of diplomatic tact”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, June 17, 2013
On May 2, 2013, Abbas’ advisor Sultan Abu Al-Einein glorified a murderer who killed an Israeli father of five. In response, five members of US Congress wrote a letter to Abbas demanding Abu Al-Einein be removed from office. The following is a response to the US demand by Adel Abd Al-Rahman, regular columnist for the official PA daily:
“The American government’s request that the Palestinian leadership ‘dismiss’ brother fighter Sultan Abu Al-Einein from Fatah’s Central Committee is nothing more than the continuation of that same domineering conduct that is completely at odds with the language of political and diplomatic etiquette. This interferes in Palestinian internal, political and partisan affairs, and disregards all values of diplomacy…
What Al-Einein did doesn’t matter. The American government is not allowed to interfere in internal Palestinian affairs while the Palestinian leadership labors day and night for peace…
The USA would not allow anyone to interfere in its policy and internal measures and therefore the USA is not allowed to interfere in internal Palestinian affairs.
Yes, the leadership and people are largely in favor of peace. Yes, we are a small nation under Israeli occupation aspiring and striving to win independence, freedom, self-determination and to ensure the right of return. Yes, we want the support of the USA and the world’s peace forces, including Israeli peace forces– but this doesn’t mean that we will turn a blind eye to American or Israeli humiliation or humiliation by any other party. The American logic, the cowboy logic devoid of political and diplomatic tact, is unacceptable.”

We express our solidarity with Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the State of Palestine, and we declare before him that we are loyal soldiers on the way of the struggle that he is leading in the footsteps of the symbol Yasser Arafat. Headline: “Sultan Abu Al-Einein sees the American request to dismiss him from Fatah as ‘insolence’”
"In response to a letter sent by the American administration… to the office of the President of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, that demanded that Fatah Central Committee Member Sultan Abu Al-Einein be fired following his visit to the home of the Palestinian Al-Zaghal family whose son had killed a settler… Abu Al-Einein issued a press release that said: ‘It is shameful that the American administration sees a problem in Sultan Abu Al-Einein’s visiting a family living in conditions not fit for human beings… The Israeli occupation is responsible for the settler’s death since by numerous ways and means it is determined to entrap Salam’s brother in the web of collaboration… Therefore, it is natural that Salam should take revenge on the occupation that had attempted to taint this family’s honor… (Al-Einein claimed that Israel had tried to recruit the murderer’s brother). On May 2, 2013, Abbas advisor Sultan Abu Al-Einein glorified a murderer who killed an Israeli father of five. In response, five members of US Congress wrote a letter to Abbas demanding Abu Al-Einein be removed from office. Ma'an reports on the letter and on Abbas' response:
"In a letter [to Mahmoud Abbas], the American Congress demanded that the Palestinian Authority deport Sultan Abu Al-Einein, the Head of the Non-Governmental Organizations Authority, and President Mahmoud Abbas's advisor for local authorities. This was done after his recent statements were described [by Congress] as incitement against Israel.
Abu Al-Einein's bureau chief, Raafat Alayan, told Ma'an that American Congress sent an official letter protesting Abu Al-Einein's visit to the family of the person who carried out the operation at the Za'atara check-point south of Nablus during which a settler was killed.
He went on to say that the Americans documented Abu Al-Einein's statements that called for the killing of settlers and for struggle, and demanded that the Palestinian Authority expel him from Fatah and banish him from the Palestinian territories to a foreign country.
Alayan stressed that President Mahmoud Abbas and the PA responded to the letter with a letter [of their own] in which it was emphasized that Sultan Abu Al-Einein is the chosen leader of a major organization, and that he is a PA employee working in the Fatah movement."

On May 2, 2013, Abbas advisor Sultan Abu Al-Einein glorified a murderer who killed an Israeli father of five. In response, five members of US Congress wrote a letter to Abbas demanding Abu Al-Einein be removed from office. Abu Al-Einein's response to the letter:
"Fatah Central Committee Member Sultan Abu Al-Einein said that the American government has demanded that the Palestinian leadership work to deport him from the Palestinian territories following 'My visit to the home of a family of a prisoner who killed a settler.' He made it clear that he would not leave.
Abu Al-Einein said in an announcement to the news agency: 'The American Congress has demanded that the Palestinian leadership deport me from Palestine following my visit to the home of the family of 24 year-old As'ad Muhammad Zaghal from the Tulkarem suburb of Shweikeh, who killed an Israeli settler at the Al-Za'atara military checkpoint on April 30, 2013. [Congress] saw this as inciting to murder settlers.'
He added: 'It is unfortunate that the American government sees only with one eye. It sees Sultan Abu Al-Einein visiting a disabled family, but it doesn't see the organized crimes that settlers and occupation's soldiers commit against the Palestinian people.'"

Note: Abu Al-Einein falsely claims that the Congressmen demanded that Abu Al-Einein be deported. Deportation was not mentioned in the letter from the Congressmen, which can be viewed here. Despite the letter from the Congressmen, Al-Einein was not removed from office.

"We must change the foundations of the conflict with this evil enemy, and I say that I have no fear of condemnation and criticism when it comes to Allah, because a nation whose land is occupied and who relinquishes resistance in all its forms, styles and manners – I say that this nation that relinquishes its elementary rights to all forms, styles and manners of resistance, is not worthy of having a homeland and is not worthy of having a place on earth. We must inculcate resistance in all its forms in every region, especially as we are situated just a few meters from our land, from the land of our ancestors, which was occupied in 1948."

Fatah: Armed struggle is our right
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Aug. 17, 2009
Sultan Abu Al-Einein, member of the Fatah Central Committee and Secretary of Fatah’s Lebanon branch:
"Mahmoud Abbas said in front of the entire [Sixth General Fatah] conference : 'Any people whose land is occupied has the right to carry out resistance in all its forms, to carry out a national struggle in all its forms, including the armed struggle.' I want to say: Any people that willingly relinquishes its right to carry out resistance in all its forms – all its forms! Including the armed struggle! – is not worthy of existence. Any people whose land is occupied! It's a right bestowed upon us by . . . international law. It's a right that is given to us, and we will not abandon it.
We want peace, but not a peace of obedience, not a peace of submission, and not a peace that is based on the Palestinian people receiving a state that is a small settlement or an economic colony. We will not accept that . . . . The international community must be aware that the option of negotiations is our option and our decision, but it won't be the sole option forever."
"Special relations" with Iran, but not at expense of Palestinian blood
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Aug. 2, 2009
Sultan Abu Al-Einein, Member of Fatah Central Committee and Secretary of Fatah’s Lebanon branch:
“It doesn't threaten us to be allies of Iran, of Syria and of all of our Arab brethren. We are part of this nation, and Iran. But this alliance must not be founded on the principle that we will be part of these regimes. … We must not be dictated a political position and we must not be dictated a decision and they (implication unclear – Ed.) will disappear from our wish as Palestinians. … We have a special place in [our heart] for Iran. The first to wave the flag of Palestine over the building of the Israeli embassy were the Iranian people, and all of our Arab brethren have a special place among us. … We say to them: You were our partners, but don’t dictate us your own wishes. We won’t agree to your regional interests at the expense of our blood, our suffering, our tragedy and our injuries.”

Source: Al-Quds TV, Apr. 6, 2009
Sultan Abu Al-Einein, Fatah Secretary General in Lebanon:
