Abbas advisor accuses Israeli leaders of calling for rape and murder of Palestinians

“[Advisor to PA Chairman Abbas on NGOs and] Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein said: ‘We preach for peace, and this peace will only be achieved when the occupation leaves our land.’ He held Israel fully responsible for the situation in Palestine. This was said during his meeting with a delegation from the committees of the national union of the non-government institutions in the northern districts (i.e., the West Bank), who made a solidarity visit with Abu Al-Einein on behalf of the union’s institutions. This was following the occupation’s steps against him and the incessant incitement campaign being carried out by Tel Aviv in response to his positions (that Palestinians should cut off the heads of every Israeli they meet –Ed.) that support the struggle of our occupied people…
Abu Al-Einein condemned the statements that incite against our people, being made by leaders of the occupation of all ranks – members of the occupation government, rabbis, and respected figures alike – in a call to murder our people, to rape our women, and to allow [the spilling of] our blood. He called on the international community to pay attention to these statements and to take revenge on those making them.
Abu Al-Einein added: ‘It is an honor for us to visit the families of the Martyrs (Shahids), the wounded, and the prisoners.’ He emphasized that the response of the Palestinian people is much less than the extent of the incitement (in words and in actions) [parentheses in source] of the occupation and its extreme right-wing government…
He concluded by saying that the continuation of the occupation is the reason for the violence in the region… and emphasized our people’s right to resist as long as the policy of land theft and settlement continues.”
