Former PLO ambassador praises murderers Abu Jihad and Dalal Mughrabi

Official PA TV program Panorama of the Hour, on the 29th anniversary of the death of Abu Jihad, a terrorist responsible for the murder of 125 Israelis, hosting former Palestinian Ambassador to Sudan Omar Shalayel.

Former PLO Ambassador to Sudan Omar Shalayel: "You know Dalal Mughrabi (i.e., terrorist who led murder of 37, 12 of them children), [Abu Jihad] took her to a [training] camp for six months and created a role model out of her who succeeded in leading 10 or 11 men, crossing the sea, going 82 km. between Haifa and Tel Aviv, killing 37 Israeli soldiers (sic., civilians), and imposing a curfew on half of the residents of Israel. This is a role model of the education of this great man [Abu Jihad] who acted quietly. To this day, she [Dalal Mughrabi] is one of our heroes."

Abu Jihad (Khalil Al-Wazir) was a founder of Fatah and deputy to Yasser Arafat. He headed the PLO terror organization's military wing and also planned many deadly Fatah terror attacks in the 1960’s - 1980’s. These attacks, which murdered a total of 125 Israelis, included the most lethal in Israeli history - the hijacking of a bus and killing of 37 civilians, 12 of them children.

Dalal Mughrabi led the most lethal terror attack in Israel’s history, known as the Coastal Road massacre, in 1978, when she and other Fatah terrorists hijacked a bus on Israel's Coastal Highway, murdering 37 civilians, 12 of them children, and wounding over 70.
