PLO official to international forum: ISIS will only be defeated by ending the Israeli occupation

“Secretary-General of the PLO Executive Committee [and Fatah Central Committee member] Dr. Saeb Erekat confirmed today [May 22, 2016] his submission of a document titled Regional Security and Stability and the Downfall of ISIS Will Only be Obtained by Drying Up the Swamp of the Israeli Occupation and the Establishment of an Independent State of Palestine with East Jerusalem as Its Capital at the Doha Forum international conference in the Qatari capital.
Erekat added in an interview with Radio Mawtini today, Sunday: ‘In the presence of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and a number of international figures, the meeting will focus on the parliamentary arena in light of the extremist Israeli government’s insistence on building settlements and carrying out arrests, executions, blockades, and closures, despite the Palestinian efforts to return the peace process to its natural path.’”
