Head of the Information Committee of the Fatah Mobilization and Organization Commission Munir Al-Jaghoub said: 'Israel needs to understand the results of its actions, [which are] a continuation of the promotion of the option of violence and the policy of demolishing homes and expelling residents of Jerusalem, and the ongoing invasions of the Al-Aqsa Mosque plaza by the herds of settlers... and the cold blooded murder of Palestinians at their checkpoints, which are spread through the territories occupied since 1967.'"

Jerusalem governor: Palestinians will "hold onto its holy sites… no matter what the sacrifices"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, June 6, 2016
Headline: “Al-Husseini: The occupation’s steps complicate the lives of Jerusalem’s citizens and its visitors”
“Governor of Jerusalem District and Minister of Jerusalem Affairs Adnan Al-Husseini emphasized that the steps being carried out by the occupation authorities are complicating the lives of Jerusalem’s [Arab] citizens and its visitors in the month of Ramadan…
He emphasized that the Palestinian people will continue its struggle, and especially the residents of Jerusalem who have withstood the many barbaric acts carried out by the gangs of settlers and the occupation army. Likewise, he emphasized that the Palestinian people will continue to hold onto its holy sites, and will not concede them, no matter what the sacrifices.”

Note: The words "no matter the sacrifices" seem to be an implicit reference to the use of violence. The Jerusalem governor made the above statement during the 2015-2016 terror wave, at a time when the PA was repeatedly claiming that the Al-Aqsa Mosque was in danger. These alleged threats to Al-Aqsa Mosque were a major impetus for the terror wave.
In October 2014, just prior to the outbreak of Palestinian riots and violence in Jerusalem, Abbas made a similar statement saying that Jewish presence at the Al-Aqsa Mosque must be prevented "in any way." [Official PA TV, Oct. 17-19, 2014].
PA daily sports article glorifies the “Martyrs” of Hebron and their mothers who have “the scent of musk and amber” from their mouths
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, June 6, 2016
Op-ed in sports section by Khaled Al-Qawasmi
Headline: “The Al-Ahli [team] won an achievement”
“The Al-Ahli team said its piece today, realized its ambitions, and sincerely announced that Hebron is a serious contender that cannot be ignored, and that it very justly has the right to be called the Palestinian Sports Capital, and how could it not be when Shabib [Al-Khalil] is the league champion and Al-Ahli is the cup champion? And this is a precedent in the history of Palestinian football, as for the first time the league champion and cup champion are competing sister [teams] representing the two branches of football in Hebron, in whose skies rose the cries of joy, which brought to mind her ranks of Martyrs (Shahids), and the scent of musk and amber from the mouths of the Martyrs’ mothers.”

Hebron honors mothers of Martyrs, including at least 2 murderers and multiple stabbers
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, June 3, 2016
Headline: “Hebron honored the Martyrs’ mothers and gave them [a grant] for a pilgrimage to Mecca”
“Hebron honored the mothers of the Martyrs (Shahids) who ascended to Heaven in the last uprising (i.e., wave of Palestinian terror attacks) in a special ceremony held yesterday [June 2, 2016] in the town hall.
Mayor Dr. Daoud Al-Zaatari said that the tribute, called The Prettiest Mothers was held as a sign of appreciation for the extent of the Martyrs’ mothers’ sacrifice and for their having offered their children to the homeland.
Likewise, the city announced the giving of a grant for a pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia for the Martyrs’ mothers and their escorts in the middle of the approaching month of Ramadan.
Al-Zaatari added: ‘The city’s grant is a simple gesture from its people to those deserving the greatest gifts and greatest honor. Mother of Martyr Muhammad Fares Al-Ja’abari, who ascended [to Heaven] at the beginning of the uprising next to the settlement of Kiryat Arba, east of Hebron, expressed appreciation of the city’s gesture and of the attention it takes care to give them (i.e., the mothers).”

Fatah official supports Intifada: "There must be an escalating popular resistance in the field to support the political activity of the leadership"
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, May 26, 2016
Official PA TV program The State of Politics, on the need to escalate the popular uprising until it becomes Intifada
Fatah Central Committee Member Jamal Muhaisen is asked about Palestinian activity required to support future efforts.
Fatah Central Committee Member Jamal Muhaisen: “I repeat: The popular uprising which has let up at the moment, it would be better if it had not let up, and that it would escalate so it would reach the stage of Intifada, as the activity in the field, the popular resistance in the field, supports the Palestinian leadership in its activities and therefore it yields achievements for the Palestinian people. The first Intifada (i.e., Palestinian wave of violence and terror against Israel, 1987-1993) yielded achievements, and the popular uprising also played a role in supporting the political effort being led by the leadership.”
Official PA TV host: "To what reasons can we attribute it, in other words the letting up [of the popular uprising]?"
Jamal Muhaisen: “The factions definitely are responsible. The Palestinian factions, and all their components, are responsible.”
Official PA TV host: “This contradicts what you are calling for, to escalate the popular uprising to resist the occupation and continue it (i.e., the popular uprising).”
Jamal Muhaisen: “Some would exaggerate and say to you that this is intifada. When we would say it is a popular uprising, they would criticize us and say it is a popular uprising (sic. Intifada). We hoped to reach the stage of Intifada. Therefore I repeat, if we want to do something to support the activity taking place in the international arena, then there must be an escalating popular resistance in the field to support the political activity of the leadership and to convey a message to the international community.”
PA Minister of Finance: Terror wave being led by young people “who are not receiving orders from anyone in the political parties, and who are not exposed to incitement”

“[PA] Minister of Finance and Planning Shukri Bishara participated in the American [-Palestinian] economic dialogue meeting held in Ramallah yesterday [May 22, 2016]… Bishara noted that the Israeli steps and obstacles in the field are the main reason for the slowdown in the growth of the Palestinian economy, and also the tensions in the political situation in the field. Bishara mentioned to the participants that the popular uprising (i.e., Palestinian wave of terror, 2015-2016) is being led by individual young people and children, who are not receiving orders from anyone in the political parties, and who are not exposed to incitement, as the Israeli side claims…"

Fatah Central Committee member praises terrorist stabbers: “They performed a miracle by imposing a curfew within Israel with knives and rocks”
Source: Official Facebook page of Fatah Central ‎Committee Member Abbas Zaki, May 16, 2016

Member of Fatah Central Committee, Abbas Zaki: "This people is greater than its leadership. The determination, willpower, and willingness to die for a dignified life are present among the youth who carried a knife after the disappearance of the Arab leadership, and even the Palestinian. They performed a miracle by imposing a curfew within Israel with knives and rocks. Blessings to the mothers and fathers who gave birth to those who are marching on the path of light, without anyone having demanded it of them... [ Zaki to the audience] I bless you sincerely with all my heart, in the name of the Fatah Central Committee and in the name of the leadership, which has decided – after giving everything for peace – to define the options against this Zionist enemy, and has ended the security coordination. Anyone who talks about renewing the relations with Israel is not a Palestinian and not a member of Fatah!"

Spokesman of the PA Security Forces: Terror attacks have gone down because “We said that we want to protect our children from death, and two or three of our children were executed every day with no consideration”
Source: Donia Al-Watan (independent Palestinian news agency), May 12, 2016
Headline: "Watch the full interview: Al-Damiri speaks about security coordination, Hamas, ISIS, thwarting the operations, the government, the resistance, and the Gaza Strip"

"[Official Spokesman of the PA Security Forces] Adnan Al-Damiri spoke in an exclusive interview with Donia Al-Watan (i.e., an independent Palestinian news agency) about many topics, including the security forces, the possibility of uniting them in the West Bank and Gaza, the reconciliation [between Fatah and Hamas], Gaza's electricity, and the other important topics…

He noted that the PA workers in the Gaza Strip who stopped working are still not working and have not been asked to return to work 'in order not to endanger their lives as we do not know what level of oppression is being implemented by Hamas.'

Likewise, Al-Damiri noted that the government transfers 80 million shekels a month to the Gaza Strip for electricity and 240 million shekels a month for salaries and services, despite Hamas’ opposition to the government or the PA having a role in the administration of Gaza

The security forces in the West Bank are accused of preventing Palestinian resistance operations (i.e., terror attacks) in the West Bank and persecuting those who carry them out; however, since the popular uprising (reference to wave of Palestinian terror attacks, October 2015 - March 2016), it [the West Bank] has been witness to a series of individual and group operations against the Israeli occupation.

Adnan Al-Damiri emphasized that the Palestinian security forces have not prevented anyone from carrying out these operations, and the proof is the occurrence of dozens of them recently, according to him.

He added to Donia Al-Watan: 'We are not talking about the thwarting of operations (i.e., attacks) within Israel, but rather we are talking about our children being throw

Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, May 2, 2016
Headline: “The occupation police recommend awarding medals to the murderers of Martyr Masalha”
“The occupation police recommend giving one of its people and a volunteer medals as a mark of appreciation for killing Bashar Masalha, (22 years old) [parentheses in source], after he carried out a stabbing operation in Jaffa in March [2016]. This was reported yesterday [May 1, 2016] by the Hebrew news website Walla. Masalha, from the village of Hijja in the Qalqilya district, carried out an operation during which he passed through the streets of Jaffa, stabbed 12 Israelis, and killed one American former soldier, who worked for a security company and was visiting the area. Afterwards he [Masalha] died as a Martyr (Shahid). In response to the recommendation, a top official in the Tel Aviv police said: ‘Those who killed Masalha prevented additional wounded from among the Israeli ranks.’ This is despite a video filmed by a passerby – in which he documents Masalha’s execution – which showed that he was wounded and unable to move, and no longer posed any danger.”

“Secretary-General of the Palestinian Liberation Front and PLO Executive Committee member Dr. Wasel Abu Yusuf said that all of the Palestinian cities are vigorously participating in the present intifada, called the Knife Intifada by some of the media, since last October and until today, and the Palestinians have made enormous sacrifices which until now have reached over 200 Martyrs (Shahids). (i.e., refers to wave of Palestinian terror attacks 2015-2016)…
He added that the present intifada comes as part of the activities of the Palestinian struggle to break free of the occupation, and noted that the sacrifices made by these Martyrs will not be in vain, and hypothesized that they will bear fruit in the process of the realization of the Palestinian people’s freedom and independence, and the establishment of its independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Abu Yusuf said that he believes that regardless of the individual actions here and there, the overall situation of the present intifada requires the joining of all efforts in order to adopt it and continue it, as it is the most realistic option of our people for ending the occupation. This is especially so in light of the preoccupations of the Arab and Islamic nation and the attempts of the international community to distance the Palestinian cause and put other issues on the international agenda…"
