Official PA TV newsreader: “Jenin [District] Governor Ibrahim Ramadan laid the cornerstone of the new residential buildings for the families of the three Martyrs (Shahids) and the prisoner from Qabatiya, at a ceremony honoring the families of the Martyrs and the outstanding students in the matriculation exams.”

Official PA TV reporter: “After the occupation’s bulldozers demolished the homes of the three Martyrs from Qabatiya south of Jenin (i.e., terrorists Ahmad Najah Abu Al-Rub, Ahmad Zakarneh, and Muhammad Kmeil), who died after they carried out the Damascus Gate operation (i.e., terrorist attack, 1 murdered) in occupied Jerusalem last February [2015], and [the home of] the prisoner that the occupation government is accusing of providing them with aid (i.e., Bilal Abu Zaid), the [PA] leadership ordered the building of new homes for their families.
It translated these efforts [into actions] by laying a cornerstone for these homes, and announced the start of their construction as [a sign of] loyalty to their sacrifice.”

Commissioner for Mobilization and Organization and Fatah Central Committee member Mahmoud Al-Aloul: “Since the beginning of the occupation, it is trying to do all it can to carry out crimes like these, to demolish homes in an attempt to distance the Palestinian people from the resistance to this occupation. However, despite all of these efforts, the Palestinian people will without a doubt resist for the defense of its country, its future, and its children.”

PA and Fatah officials at funeral of accidentally killed teen: Israel executes Palestinians in “cold blood,” Fatah official calls for “resistance in all its forms”

PMW note: Mahmoud Rafat Badran was a 15-year-old Palestinian who was accidentally killed by Israeli soldiers who were pursuing Palestinian suspects that had thrown stones at moving Israeli cars, injuring 3. The PA used this tragic event as a platform for spreading its libels that Israel deliberately targets children for execution and encouraged use of “resistance in all its forms,” a euphemism for terror attacks.

Headline: “Masses of our people accompanied the body of Martyr (Shahid) [Mahmoud Rafat] Badran to his grave”

“Yesterday [June 23, 2016] thousands of our people accompanied the body of Martyr (Shahid) [Mahmoud] Rafat Badran, 15, to his grave in the town of Beit Ur in the Ramallah and El-Bireh district, with official, civilian, and military participation

In his speech, Fatah Central Committee member and Commissioner for Mobilization and Organization Mahmoud Al-Aloul called for national unity and an end to the internal rift [between Hamas and Fatah].

Al-Aloul said: ‘The occupation (i.e., Israel) carries out daily executions of children and of the rest of our people on the roads and at checkpoints. The occupation’s admission about the accidental killing of Martyr Badran provides all the data and proof for their conviction and to prove their lies. These children tried to play and have fun like the rest of the children throughout the world, but the occupation’s bullets insisted on killing them.’

Al-Aloul emphasized the option of resistance in all its forms in light of the fact that the peace process is stalled and the occupation continues its crimes…

Ramallah and El-Bireh District Governor [Laila Ghannam] participated in accompanying the body from the Palestine Medical Center and said during the funeral: ‘There is an Israeli decision to execute our children in col

Abu Jihad (Khalil Al-Wazir) was a founder of Fatah and deputy to Yasser Arafat. He headed the PLO terror organization's military wing and also planned many deadly Fatah terror attacks. These attacks, which killed a total of 125 Israelis, included the most lethal in Israeli history - the hijacking of a bus and killing of 37 civilians, 12 of them children.

Fatah official: “Only choice” Palestinians have is “popular resistance” (i.e., terror wave)
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Dec. 20, 2015
“In an interview with Mawtini Radio yesterday [Dec. 19, 2015], [Fatah Central Committee member Mahmoud] Al-Aloul added that the popular resistance against the occupation continues, as the only choice the occupation has left us.”

The terms "all means," "peaceful uprising,” and “popular uprising/resistance" are often used by PA leaders and officials to refer to events that include violent and deadly terror against Israeli civilians such as rock-throwing, stabbings and even shootings. See Mahmoud Abbas' reference to murderous terror as "peaceful" during the 2015-2016 terror wave (“The Knife Intifada”), which included numerous stabbing attacks.

To justify murder as legitimate and “peaceful,” PA leaders and officials cite UN Resolution 3236 which "recognizes the right of the Palestinian people to regain its rights by all means." The PA interprets "all means" as including violence against civilians. However, this distorts the intention of the UN. The continuation of Resolution 3236, which is never cited by PA leaders, states that the use of "all means" should be "in accordance with the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations..." The UN Charter prohibits targeting civilians, even in war. Chapter 1, Article 1, opens by saying that "international disputes" should be resolved "by peaceful means."

Al-Aloul emphasized yesterday [Dec. 5, 2015] in an interview with Radio Mawtini that our people will not be silent about the occupation’s crimes, and will continue to resist until freedom and independence are achieved… Al-Aloul called to increase the pressure on the occupation by all types of popular resistance, whether by participation in activities in the field, or by boycotting its products, in addition to the other types in which every Palestinian citizen needs to participate, because the settlers must be made to live in a state of fear and worry.”
Fatah official describes US as a "pest" at a Fatah rally commemorating Arafat

Headline: “Fatah’s Nablus [branch] commemorated the anniversary of the Martyrdom of the founder and symbol Yasser Arafat”
“The [Fatah] movement organized a central mourning rally to commemorate the anniversary of the death of Martyr Yasser Arafat, and the declaration of the [Palestinian] document of independence in the village of Beit Furik, in the presence of Fatah Central Committee member Mahmoud Al-Aloul…
Al-Aloul emphasized that the movement continues on the path of the Palestinian revolution, outlined by Martyr Yasser Arafat and his comrades, and that the rebel’s rifle has not fallen and will not fall, as long as there is an occupation that lies over the land of the homeland.
Al-Aloul clarified that the leadership does not trust the American mediator, who shows, day after day, that it is biased in favor of the occupation state and stands by the abusive occupation at the expense of the oppressed Palestinian people, the victim of the Israeli war and terror mechanism. He also described the US as a ‘pest.’”
