Fatah official discusses establishment of a national committee to rebuild the homes of terrorists that were destroyed by the IDF
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Dec. 15, 2018
Official PA TV program Topic of the Day

Fatah Central Committee member, Fatah Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization in the West Bank, and PLO Central Council member Jamal Muhaisen: “After the demolition [of the house of Um Nasser Abu Hmeid] (the mother of terrorists responsible for at least 10 murders; see note below –Ed.) was carried out, we sent a letter to sister Um Nasser today according to which [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas] guarantees to build the home in its entirety. We encourage [the establishment of] a national committee. This national committee will have a national fund for rebuilding all of the homes destroyed by-”
Official PA TV host: “Who will finance this fund, Dr. Jamal?” […]
Jamal Muhaisen: “Regarding that, we will certainly request that the [PA] government take part in it. We will also request that the national assets take part in it too (i.e., funding from the public).”

Fatah official is against normalization of Arab countries’ relations with Israel, because Israeli leaders, the “criminal Zionist entity,” “murder our young people, destroy our homes, and desecrate our holy sites”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Nov. 27, 2018
Official PA TV News, hosting Fatah Central Committee member, Fatah Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization in the West Bank, and PLO Central Council member Jamal Muhaisen

Fatah Central Committee member, Fatah Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization in the West Bank, and PLO Central Council member Jamal Muhaisen: “From here, from Jerusalem, we send a message to our Arab brothers who welcome the leaders of this criminal Zionist entity. As long as they murder our young people, destroy our homes, and desecrate our holy sites, the time has come for our Arab brothers to accept upon themselves the decisions of the Dhahran Committee (i.e., 2002 Arab League summit in Beirut that produced the Arab Peace Initiative conditioning ties with Israel on a peace deal)… These processes of welcoming the leaders of the Zionist entity in an Arab capital are a service to the Zionist entity and a deviation from morals, religion, politics, and that which is customary and accepted – and even from Arabness. Therefore, I again say we will not act politely with any one of them. Now we say: ‘Stop this free normalization’… In the end, we turn to the Arab members of our people – if you care about Jerusalem and if Jerusalem is one of your holy sites and part of your faith, you are welcome to tell your rulers: ‘Enough.’”
Abbas’ advisor demonizes Judaism, claims Jews "prophesize" the Messiah will “kill everyone who is not a Jew”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Apr. 20, 2018
Official PA TV, excerpt of Friday sermon by Supreme Shari’ah Judge, Mahmoud Abbas’ advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs, and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Shari'ah Justice Mahmoud Al-Habbash at the mosque in the PA headquarters in Ramallah; in audience: PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, Fatah Central Committee member and PLO Central Council member Jamal Muhaisen, PLO Executive Committee member Mahmoud Ismail, and Secretary-General of the PA Presidential Office Tayeb Abd Al-Rahim

Supreme Shari’ah Judge, Mahmoud Abbas’ advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs, and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Shari'ah Justice Mahmoud Al-Habbash:
"The [US] recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital is a crime against humanity, a crime against Jesus... This is a crime against the Christians and against the Muslims - a crime against Jesus... and a crime against Muhammad... One of their [the Jews'] slogans today is about ''the King Messiah' - whose coming they prophesize. They prophesize and believe that when he comes he will kill – just imagine – he will kill everyone who is not a Jew (sic.). What kind of belief is this, which is based only on killing the other, negating the other, and the death of the other?"

Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen : “I certainly think that the Zionist influence on Europe today is less than what it was in the past, but the US is still being subjected to the Jewish-Zionist occupation through the power of money. Just as the Zionist Jews are occupying us here with the power of weapons, they are occupying the US with the power of money through the Zionist organizations in the US and the Zionist study centers.”

Fatah official on the PA’s payment of salaries to terrorists and families of “martyrs”: “The Martyrs are more precious than all of us together… the prisoners are our compasses”
Source: Falestinona, website of Fatah's Information and Culture Commission in Lebanon, Apr. 18, 2018
Headline: “Dr. Muhaisen: Our national unity is the rock on which all of the plots against our cause will be shattered”

“The Al-Quds magazine [of Fatah’s Information and Culture Commission in Lebanon] spoke with Fatah Movement Central Committee member, [Fatah] Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization in the Southern Districts (i.e., the Gaza Strip, sic., he holds this position in the West Bank), [and PLO Central Council member] Jamal Muhaisen…
[Question:] ‘“Israel” is continuing its war against the prisoners and Martyrs (Shahids), and this time has announced its intention to deduct their salaries (rawatib) from the [PA] tax money (refers to a new Israeli bill; see note below –Ed.). What is your opinion on this matter?’
[Jamal Muhaisen:] ‘The Martyrs are more precious than all of us together, as they died defending the Arabness of the Palestinian land, and the prisoners are our compasses who sacrificed their freedom for the freedom of the Palestinian people and the Palestinian land. Both of them have sacrificed for our right and historical identity, and this is their right and our obligation. When we talk about how there were approximately a million Palestinian prisoners in the Zionist prisons, what this means is that the entire Palestinian people is forbidden from receiving any kind of salary. These Martyrs also died due to the crimes committed by the occupation soldiers without any reason or restrictions …
Our Martyrs and prisoners are Palestinian national symbols, and we will continue to pay their salaries to their families, even if we will need to deduct from everyone’s salaries, and it does not matter what this will cost us.’"

Fatah official says US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital is “part of the American-Zionist plot to destroy the Arab states,” refers to Israel as “the Nazi enemy"
Source: Falestinona, website of Fatah's Information and Culture Commission in Lebanon, Apr. 18, 2018
"[Q:] ‘How do you assess the Arab and international positions regarding the American decision on Jerusalem (i.e., to recognize it as Israel’s capital and move the US embassy to it)?’
[Muhaisen:] ‘…The problem does not lie in the UN and in “Israel,” but rather in the Arab governments who until now are still dealing with the American-Israeli plot with words and not with actions, while the US is intensifying its steps against the central cause of the Arab nation and continuing to deepen the internal conflict in the Arab states in order to eliminate their capabilities, as part of the American-Zionist plot to destroy the Arab states so that “Israel” will remain the only state in the region. This is all in order to turn attention from the central conflict, which is the conflict with the Nazi enemy with tendencies of expansion that is occupying all of the lands of Palestine and much of the Arab lands in the Golan and Lebanon.’”

"The factions yesterday [April 14, 2018] condemned the Western tripartite act of aggression that the US, Britain, and France perpetrated against Syria… The Fatah Movement said in a statement by the Commission of Information, Culture, and Ideology that the tripartite military attack on the land of the Arab republic of Syria constitutes illegal use of military force, as it took place without a mandate from the [UN] Security Council, and therefore is liable to have severe consequences regarding the situation in Syria, the region's security, and its welfare. The movement also emphasized its strong opposition to any use of chemical weapons, whose use has been internationally banned... Fatah Central Committee member and [Fatah] Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization [in the West Bank] Jamal Muhaisen... demanded that just as the world claims it is worried about Syria’s children, so too it should worry about Palestine’s children, stop the Israeli massacres against them, rein in the Israeli occupation, and put an end to its actions against the members of our people."

Abbas' advisor: We don't want religious conflict, but Israel does, attacks holy sites, great ugliness characterizes them
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Mar. 9, 2018
Official PA TV, excerpt of sermon by Mahmoud Al-Habbash at the mosque in the PA headquarters in Ramallah

Supreme Shari’ah Judge, Mahmoud Abbas’ advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs, and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Shari'ah Justice Mahmoud Al-Habbash: “Brother believers, in the framework of the conflict with the occupation we have always said, and the Palestinian leadership has repeated: We do not want to ignite a religious battle or religious conflict. We do not want to make the conflict religious. Because, simply put, we do not hate the religions, we do not hate people because of their faith, and our motto is ‘there is no coercion in religion’…
However, while we act in this way, every day several fools come out against us who fan the flames of religious struggle, and they want to make the conflict religious – starting with attacking the holy sites, targeting the holy sites, and targeting the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the mosques and churches in Palestine… if a Muslim went out and belittled the Torah, for example – Heaven forbid, we do not do something like this, and it is not fitting for us to do something like this. But if it happened, Heaven forbid, what would their responses be? [...] They would accuse us of ‘Antisemitism,’ as if they are Semites and we are from Mars. These people - our response to them is not curses, we will not curse them – they have enough ugliness that we do not need to curse them, as the curses would be less than the ugliness that characterizes them.”

PLO officials defend PA payments to terrorists, saying the PA will “defend their struggle in every way, and work for their release”

Headline: “[PLO] Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs conference on the occupation’s terror and the racist laws against the prisoners”

“The [PLO] Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs held a conference in Ramallah yesterday afternoon [Feb. 27, 2018] on the topic of ‘Israeli terror and legislation of racist laws against the Palestinian prisoners in the occupation’s prisons’…
Fatah Movement Central Committee member, [Fatah Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization in the West Bank, and PLO Central Council member] Jamal Muhaisen, Director of [PLO] Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs Issa Karake, [PA-funded] Prisoners’ Club Chairman Qadura Fares, and Arab Israeli Parliament Member Osama Sa’adi spoke at the conference…
Muhaisen said: ‘The Palestinian leadership, led by [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas], is placing the prisoners’ cause at the top of its priorities. The Palestinian leadership and people are proud of their prisoners’ movement. They will always support their rights, defend their struggle in every way, and work for their release and the emptying of the prisons.’
Karake emphasized that the goal that Israel is seeking to attain by recently legislating racist laws against the Palestinian prisoners – with the latest example of this being the bill to deduct great amounts of money from the PA’s tax revenues, at an amount equaling that which is paid to the families of the Martyrs (Shahids) and to the prisoners (see note below –Ed.) - … is first and foremost to define the Palestinian struggle as a crime and denounce it as terror…

Trump is leading a war against the Arab and Islamic nation; US and Israel are the only enemies, Trump is "fascist, Nazi, and a lunatic,” says Fatah official
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Feb. 25, 2018

Official PA TV program
Topic of the Day, on US President Donald Trump being an “enemy” of the Palestinians, hosting Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen

Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen:
“It was incumbent on [US President] Trump - if he wasn’t a fascist and Nazi in his thinking - to respond to brother [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas’ speech and initiative at the [UN] Security Council by taking back or at least giving a positive interpretation to what he said and the ideas that he proposed… A large state like the US, which is supposed to act in order to implement international decisions and world peace, is today the one harming world peace due to this blind bias in favor of the occupation… The The US only pursues its interests, which are to destroy the Arab region so that Israel – which was planted in the region by colonialism – will rule the region and the Islamic nation will be destroyed... Therefore I say: The only enemy – and it is clear why I say the only enemy – the only enemy and only danger to the region, to peace in the region and in the world, is Israel and the US.”

Muhaisen called on the American administration and [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu’s government to again review history and learn lessons from it, as the occupation’s American arsenal has not succeeded during 70 years of aggression in eliminating the identity, right, and struggle, and these strides will also not break the will of the Palestinian people.”

"The Al-Quds monthly interviewed Fatah Movement Central Committee member, [Fatah Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization in the West Bank, and PLO Central Council member] Dr. Jamal Muhaisen.
[Q:] Do you think 'Israel' (quotation marks in the original -Ed.) is trying to marginalize the role of the PA by creating contact with regional parties regarding the Palestinian issue, far from the PA’s role in this matter?
[Jamal Muhaisen:] 'After the operation (i.e., terror attack, 2 murdered) that young people from Umm Al-Fahm carried out at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, a telephone call took place between [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas and [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu, in which it was stated that no change would be implemented in Jerusalem. President Mahmoud Abbas traveled to China, and afterwards the metal detectors were placed [at the entrances to the Al-Aqsa Mosque] (refers to security measures implemented following the terror attack; see note below –Ed.). Our position was clear, and it was that it is not possible to be silent about the new situation that was created after the morning of July 14, 2017."

Fatah official: Let’s revoke the recognition of Israel
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Aug. 15, 2017
Fatah Central Committee member, Fatah Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization in the West Bank, and PLO Central Council member Jamal Muhaisen: "The political leadership is the one who decides at every stage which means of struggle can bring achievements to our people. At the present time, considering the actions of the Israeli government that violate all of the agreements and all of the international decisions, and insist on leaving the Palestinian people under occupation – and that is something we will never accept – and therefore the [political] system needs to invest greater efforts, and that is what will strengthen the ability of the system to continue the resistance in a steady manner, and not in the manner of outbreaks here and there... I say that we must convene the [Palestinian] National Council (i.e., the legislative body of the PLO) in order to revoke the recognition of the State of Israel, unless there will be mutual recognition between two states - the State of Israel and the Palestinian state."

Fatah Central Committee member and PLO Central Council member Jamal Muhaisen: "The enemy of the region, the enemy of the Palestinians, and of the Arab and Islamic nation is Israel, and not any state that the US and Israel are trying to start wars [against]. I say to you: Our enemy is not Iran. The enemy of the Arab and Islamic nation is not Iran; the enemy of the Arab nation is Israel… It cannot be that all of the armies that have been prepared [for war] for 50 years at the expense of Arab money and at the expense of the bread of the Arab citizen, and all of the military power of the Arab nation will not be turned against the occupation. If this does not happen, every person of rank [in the Arab armies] will lose his honor."

"The cities of Ramallah and El-Bireh and the Qalandiya refugee camp yesterday [July 19, 2017] were witness to processions and [solidarity] vigils for Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque and demonstrations of protest over the occupation placing metal detectors at the entrances to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, amid cries to hold a day of rage on Friday and to generally be on high alert. The Fatah Movement called for a procession in Ramallah and an additional evening procession in the Qalandiya refugee camp, south of the city, and it also held an Islamic-Christian [solidarity] vigil in front of the [PA] Ministry of Religious Affairs in El-Bireh, in conjunction with similar processions in Tubas, Jenin, and the West Bank, and processions of other forces in Gaza. PA officials blame Israel for terror attack on the Temple Mount, following Israeli “policies against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem," including "securing the settlers’ daily invasions” of the Mosque
Source: Ma’an, independent Palestinian news agency, July 16, 2017
“Today, Sunday [July 16, 2017], popular bodies and figures and Jerusalem institutions opposed all of the recent Israeli steps that the occupation forces are attempting to force [through] within the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the plazas of the Noble Sanctuary (i.e., the Temple Mount), and the Old City in occupied Jerusalem (refers to how Israel stationed metal detectors at the entrance to the site in response to a terror attack on the Temple Mount on July 14, 2017 –Ed.). This came as part of a meeting that was described as significant...
In the meeting the following matters were emphasized:
1. The occupation authorities are the ones responsible for the events and actions that have taken place since last Friday (July 14, 2017), which are a product of the occupation’s policies against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem, including securing the settlers’ daily invasions of the Noble Sanctuary, continuing the settlement policy, destroying homes, and imposing exorbitant taxes on the [Arab] civilians of Jerusalem.
2. The Israeli occupation is the one responsible for transferring the confrontation that took place outside the Noble Sanctuary to within it last Friday (i.e., Israel temporarily closed the Temple Mount for two days in response to the attack), which confirms the occupation’s intent to exploit what occurred (i.e., terror attack, 2 murdered) in order to carry out its plans, whose goal is to change the status quo at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

We know that the very act of Ribat (i.e., religious conflict/war over land claimed to be Islamic) on this land is Jihad , and the Israelis have increased their insolence lately due to the poor situation."

Fatah official: Salaries to terrorists is "connected to the Palestinian historical narrative"
Source: Wattan (independent Palestinian news agency)‎, July 2, 2017
"Regarding the salaries (rawatib) of the Martyrs (Shahids) and prisoners, [Fatah Movement Central Committee member, Fatah Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization in the West Bank, and PLO Central Council member] Dr. [Jamal] Muhaisen emphasized that this is not a financial matter, but rather a matter that is connected to the Palestinian historical narrative, according to which the prisoners and Martyrs represent our Palestinian people’s struggle. He praised the position of [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas, who responded to the American administration: ‘Even if I will have to leave my position, I will not compromise on the salary of a Martyr or a prisoner, as I am the president of the entire Palestinian people, including the prisoners, the Martyrs, the injured, the expelled, and the uprooted.’”

Abbas' appointment of murderer to Fatah's Central Committee means "the prisoners or Martyrs` salaries [won`t] be stopped," says Fatah official
Source: Falestinona, website of Fatah's Information and Culture Commission in Lebanon, May 31, 2017
[Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen:] "'The appointment of Karim Younes (i.e., terrorist, murdered 1), who has been imprisoned for the last 36 years in the Israeli prisons, as a Fatah Central Committee member by the decision of the committee and with the approval of the [Fatah] Revolutionary Committee, was an exceptional step of great significance, as the position of the [Fatah] Movement is a position of struggle. However, the value of the decision lies in the fact that it was made at a time when pressures are being applied to [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas to stop the prisoners and Martyrs' (Shahids') salaries (rawatib). The selection of the most veteran prisoner in the prisons (i.e., Karim Younes) as a member of the [Fatah] Central Committee is a message to them that they should not think that one day the prisoners or Martyrs' salaries will be stopped. This is because the decisions of the international bodies permit the Palestinian people and every people in the world to fight with all means against the occupation, and our prisoners and Martyrs are our pride and the knights of the Palestinian people, and not terrorists.'"

Fatah Central Committee member, Fatah Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization in the West Bank, and PLO Central Council member Dr. Jamal Muhaisen: “We warn the Israeli government that if any harm befalls one of our prisoners in the prisons there will be a response in the Palestinian street, and not only the Palestinians will be harmed by it, but also the settlers… We are all unified behind the prisoners’ demands. Therefore we say that in order to force this government to accede to the demands of our prisoners – whose will power will not be broken – our young people and the members of our people must go out to the bypass roads to block all of the roads against the settlers, for it is known that this is a government of settlers… We say to the whole world that the time has come to pressure this fascist and racist government, which has surpassed the Nazis in its acts against the members of our people and our prisoners.”

Fatah Movement Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen… said that the sit-in strike opposite the UN headquarters in Ramallah was held in order to demand that the member states of the international body [UN] pressure Israel to implement the third and fourth Geneva Conventions for the Palestinian prisoners as they are prisoners of war, and to condemn the racist Israeli actions against the young Palestinians.”

Red Cross rebuts Palestinian claims that Israel commits “executions” and is an “apartheid state" or that it denies basic human rights – Jacques De Maio, head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation to Israel and the Palestinian Authority, rejected claims that Israel carries out “extrajudicial killings” or is an "apartheid state" in an interview with the Israeli news site Ynet on April 26, 2017. De Maio said: “We came to the unequivocal conclusion that there are no shoot to kill orders of suspects by IDF (i.e., the Israeli army), as some political elements tried to convince us. Rules of engagement have not changed, and became even stricter.” Regarding claims of apartheid, De Maio said: “No, there is no apartheid here, no regime of superiority of race, of denial of basic human rights to a group of people because of their alleged racial inferiority.”

“Fatah Central Committee member [and Commissioner for Diaspora Branches] Dr. Jamal Muhaisen called to formulate a comprehensive plan and to act on the internal, Arab, Islamic, and international level against transferring the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Muhaisen said in an interview with Radio Mawtini today: ...‘The matter of transferring the American embassy to Jerusalem constitutes an act of aggression against the Palestinian people,’ and he noted that ‘Embassies are situated on the basis of an agreement between two states, but never in history has it happened that the embassy of a state was established on occupied territories of a third state.’
Muhaisen said that in his opinion the world will oppose this step, which contradicts [UN Security Council] Resolution 2334, and that the US will not obtain international support. He also noted that the position of the American Congress regarding the Palestinian issue (i.e., the US House of Representatives rejected the UN resolution condemning Israel on Jan. 5, 2017) is not new, and emphasized that the Palestinian leadership will act against this intention through internal, Arab, and international action.
Muhaisen said: ‘We regard the American Congress as if it is the Israeli Parliament.’

: “The president receives the plaque of the Fatah Movement branch in Syria”
“[PA] President Mahmoud Abbas received the plaque of the conference of Fatah’s branch in Syria, which was held recently in Damascus, the capital of Syria.
Fatah Central Committee member [and Commissioner for Diaspora Branches] Jamal Muhaisen gave the plaque to President Abbas yesterday evening [Aug. 21, 2016] at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah on behalf of the elected members of the Fatah Movement branch in Syria.
He said: ‘This Al-Asifa (i.e., Fatah military unit) plaque is given to the president by the Fatah Movement conference, which was held in Damascus on the 13th of the current month [August].’
Muhaisen added: ‘The conference took place after 37 years of absence. It was a type of demonstration of Fatah, which was hosted by the city of Damascus in the shadow of these difficult circumstances (i.e., the Syrian war). Only 11 members were absent from the conference due to [various] constraints, five of them from the Al-Yarmouk refugee camp, and six from the city of Aleppo.”

A picture with the article shows PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas receiving the plaque from Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen. The plaque bears the image of two hands in the colors of the Palestinian flag holding assault rifles, and a PA map of “Palestine” that presents Israel as “Palestine” together with the PA areas.
Fatah official: "Jaffa, Haifa, and Acre are occupied Palestinian territories"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 29, 2016
Headline: “Muhaisen: The Israeli accusations against the president are state terror”
“Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen said… in a radio interview yesterday [July 28, 2016] that ‘The fact that the occupation state describes [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas’] activity in the sphere of international law as diplomatic terror constitutes an expression of its political crisis in regard to the international community, and its concern over the influence of the president’s wisdom and his management of the political campaign in the international arena.’
Likewise, he described the Israeli accusation campaign against the president as ‘organized state terror,’ and added: ‘Even though we are convinced that Jaffa, Haifa, and Acre are occupied Palestinian territories, the president is demanding, according to the PLO political plan, a Palestinian state in the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, next to the State of Israel.’”
Fatah official: "The Zionist entity is a Nazi entity" that "spreads like cancer"

Fatah-run Awdah TV program Personal Encounter, on the importance of PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ speech at the Arab League summit calling for Britain to apologize for the Balfour Declaration, which was delivered by PA Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Malki on July 25, 2016
Fatah Central Committee member and Commissioner for Foreign Branches Jamal Muhaisen: “The Zionist entity is a Nazi entity, planted in Arab land, planted in the land of Palestine. It spreads in the Arab region, spreads geographically in the occupied Syrian Golan. It spreads economically and security-wise through the entire Arab region, it spreads like cancer.”

The Balfour Declaration of Nov. 2, 1917 was a letter from British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour to Baron Rothschild stating that “His Majesty's government views with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people” and is seen as the basis for later international commitments to establish the State of Israel.
Fatah official supports Intifada: "There must be an escalating popular resistance in the field to support the political activity of the leadership"
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, May 26, 2016
Official PA TV program The State of Politics, on the need to escalate the popular uprising until it becomes Intifada
Fatah Central Committee Member Jamal Muhaisen is asked about Palestinian activity required to support future efforts.
Fatah Central Committee Member Jamal Muhaisen: “I repeat: The popular uprising which has let up at the moment, it would be better if it had not let up, and that it would escalate so it would reach the stage of Intifada, as the activity in the field, the popular resistance in the field, supports the Palestinian leadership in its activities and therefore it yields achievements for the Palestinian people. The first Intifada (i.e., Palestinian wave of violence and terror against Israel, 1987-1993) yielded achievements, and the popular uprising also played a role in supporting the political effort being led by the leadership.”
Official PA TV host: "To what reasons can we attribute it, in other words the letting up [of the popular uprising]?"
Jamal Muhaisen: “The factions definitely are responsible. The Palestinian factions, and all their components, are responsible.”
Official PA TV host: “This contradicts what you are calling for, to escalate the popular uprising to resist the occupation and continue it (i.e., the popular uprising).”
Jamal Muhaisen: “Some would exaggerate and say to you that this is intifada. When we would say it is a popular uprising, they would criticize us and say it is a popular uprising (sic. Intifada). We hoped to reach the stage of Intifada. Therefore I repeat, if we want to do something to support the activity taking place in the international arena, then there must be an escalating popular resistance in the field to support the political activity of the leadership and to convey a message to the international community.”
Fatah official: The US is “the number one enemy”; US works to divide Arab world and even created ISIS so Israel would rule the region
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Mar. 22, 2016
Official PA TV program Topic of the Day on the positions of US presidential candidates regarding Israel, hosting Fatah Central Committee member and Fatah Commissioner for Diaspora Branches and PLO Central Council member Jamal Muhaisen and the journalist Akram Atallah

Fatah Central Committee member and Fatah Commissioner for Diaspora Branches and PLO Central Council member Jamal Muhaisen: “There is a debate between different statesmen around the question of whether America is leading Israel or Israel is leading the US. Aside from the organic connection between Israel and the US, and their shared interests, I have a personal opinion on the matter. It is customary to say that the Palestinian people is the only people on planet earth that is under occupation. I say that the American people is also under occupation. We [the Palestinians] are under Israeli occupation, and the American people is also under Jewish Zionist occupation. Today, when the candidates of the American parties are meeting with AIPAC, they do not turn to AIPAC as American citizens, they turn to AIPAC as representatives of the State of Israel… I repeat, the number one enemy of the Palestinian people and of the Arab and Muslim nation is the US because it is the main supporter of the Israeli side.”

I say to Abu Marzouq (a senior member of Hamas –Ed.) that 90 percent of the Martyrs are from Fatah, and I would like Hamas to be present in the popular uprising in the field, matching its size. Fatah Central Committee member: Israel steals organs from “Martyrs” and forbids Palestinians to do autopsies

Official PA TV program
Topic of the Day, hosting Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen and political science lecturer Mukheimar Abu Sa'ada
Topic: The confrontations with Israel
Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen: "There are Israeli testimonies acknowledging that organs are being taken from the bodies of young Martyrs. While the body is with the Israelis, organs are taken according to Israel’s needs, and afterwards they hand over the body [to the PA] with conditions... including not allowing the body to be autopsied, in order to cover it up."

Note: There is one case of organ theft in Israel’s history. In 2001, an Israeli investigative journalist exposed that from the years 1988 to 2000, doctors under chief pathologist Yehuda Hiss at the Abu Kabir Institute of Forensic Medicine at times took body parts without permission from relatives, for research and transplants of skin and corneas. Most body parts were taken from Israeli Jews, but the theft also included body parts from Israeli Arabs, Israeli soldiers and Palestinian terrorists. There has been no documented case since then.

Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen in video: "Our national unity (i.e., between Fatah and Hamas) is the basis for dealing with the criminal plots being carried out by that racist criminal Zionist entity's government, and with the blind support it receives from the American regime, which insists on remaining the leader of imperialism and international terror, while describing the Palestinian people's struggle for liberty and independence as terror. This, while granting the occupier, that Nazi criminal, a certificate that its crimes against the Palestinian people are self-defense. However, I say to this Nazi occupier, and to the leader of terror, the US: 'We do not expect a certificate of good behavior from you, but rather Shahada (play on words: In Arabic Shahada means both “Martyrdom” - death for Allah - and “certificate” –Ed.) that we receive from Allah, who chooses Martyrs from among us, who are more honorable than all of us.'"

Fatah official: "The US is the enemy of the Palestinian people, the enemy of the Arab nation, and the enemy of the Muslim nation"
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Sept. 5, 2015
Official PA TV open broadcast following clashes in Jerusalem, interview with Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen
Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen: “We cannot be dragged [by the Israelis] into an armed war, but in the face of the Israeli occupation’s crimes there may be responses here and there, and after all, the Israeli side’s blood is not more precious than the blood of a Palestinian child… No [Arab] foreign minister or president should discuss strategic relations with the US. The US is the enemy of the Palestinian people, the enemy of the Arab nation, and the enemy of the Muslim nation. It is the one enabling the Israeli occupation of our land to continue to exist, and it is the one tearing the Arab world to shreds. Therefore, the time has come for Arab and Muslim rulers to reexamine their relations with the US… We have no choice other than to escalate the popular resistance until it becomes a full intifada and a clash with the occupation, an intifada like that of 1987 (the First Intifada, Palestinian wave of violence and terror against Israel, 1987-1993 –Ed.), so that the world will pay attention to the Palestinian cause.”

Fatah official: Settlers must be forced out "by all available means"; "I long to see Israeli women crying" over their dead
Source: Fatah-run Awdah TV, Aug. 2, 2015
Fatah-run Awdah TV program Personal Conversation interviewed Fatah Central Committee Member Jamal Muhaisen
Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen: “I repeat, the settlers must be discouraged and forced to leave our lands, by all available means. We must not keep crying. No one likes to console people and attend the funerals of our Martyrs (Shahids), etc., but as a [member] of the Palestinian leadership I say that we are embarrassed by having to continue consoling [people]. I long to see Israeli women crying, as Palestinian women do.”

Note: PA leaders and officials have legitimized Palestinian violence by quoting UN resolution 3236 which "recognizes the right of the Palestinian people to regain its rights by all means." The PA interprets "all means" as including violence against civilians, but has chosen to ignore the continuation of the resolution which states that the use of "all means" should be "in accordance with the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations..." The UN Charter prohibits targeting civilians, even in war. Chapter 1, Article 1, opens by saying that "international disputes" should be resolved "by peaceful means."

Fatah official on defining Israel as a Jewish state: “Israeli mindset” is like “days of Hitler”

Fatah Central Committee member and Commissioner for Overseas Fatah Branch Affairs Dr. Jamal Muhaisen: “I say that a democratic [state] is incompatible with a Jewish [state] or a nation [state].The current Israeli mindset, in my opinion, takes us back to the days of Hitler, when he distinguished between the German nation and the other nations of the world. Today, the Israeli side is also trying to distinguish between the Jews as a nation – I’m not talking about the Jews as a religion – and the Arab nation, who are the original inhabitants of the land.”

Fatah official denies Jewish historical connection to Western Wall
Source: Al-Falastinia TV (Fatah Party), Feb. 19, 2014
Al-Falastinia TV program Special Coverage hosted Fatah Central Committee member Dr. Jamal Muhaisen.
Fatah Central Committee member Dr. Jamal Muhaisen:
“We demand that all the lands conquered in [19]67 be under Palestinian control. As I said, the exchange [of territories] will be in the border areas, not in Jerusalem. When you talk about what is known as the ‘Al-Buraq Wall’ (i.e. The Western Wall of the Temple Mount), even the British committee that came to Palestine in the 1930s and examined the issue found that this is the ‘Al-Buraq Wall’ and not the ‘Wailing Wall.’ For this reason, we repeat that any site with a connection to the religious aspect – we believe in freedom of religion and in people’s [right to] visit the religious sites. However, so far, none of the archeologists, not [even] the Israeli ones, have proved the existence of a single remnant of the Israeli side in the places claimed to be theirs. I repeat: we will only agree to all [parts] of Jerusalem conquered in ’67 being a part of the Palestinian state and the capital of the State of Palestine.

The 1930 Wailing Wall Commission was appointed by the British government, with the approval of the League of Nations, to settle the matter of the Jews’ and Muslims’ rights and claims to the Western Wall. The commission concluded that the Western Wall had served as a Jewish holy site long before it became a Muslim waqf (an inalienable religious endowment in Islamic law). The commission’s final conclusion was that although the Western Wall was a Muslim waqf, it was holy to both Muslims and Jews and therefore the Jews should be granted free access to worship at the site.
PA minister of Religious Affairs glorifies murderers of Israeli hiker

Official PA TV Live broadcast an event honoring released prisoners in the Salfit District.
The event was attended by PA Minister of Prisoners’ Affairs Issa Karake, PA Minister of Religious Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habbash, Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen and Salfit District Governor Issam Abu Bakr.
Released prisoners Fahim Sarhan, Mustafa Al-Haj and Bilal Damra were honored at the event.

PA Minister of Religious Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habbash: “Brothers, honored ones, who we are proud to be honored by today by honoring you, peace be upon you. All words are dwarfed when standing in the presence of such people. Those who, one day, voluntarily gave up part of their lives. And it is possible that while they were waging the battles of honor, resistance and struggle, they were prepared to give up their whole life for Palestine.”

Note: Mustafa Al-Haj murdered Frederick Rosenfeld while he was hiking near the city of Ariel in the West Bank (June 17, 1989). He was released in August 2013 as one of 104 prisoners released by Israel, which was the PA's precondition for renewing negotiations.
Bilal Damra was serving a life sentence for participating in the murder of Frederick Rosenfeld, who was killed while he was hiking near the city of Ariel in the West Bank (June 17, 1989). Damra was released in December 2013 as one of the 104 terrorists whom Israel agreed to release to fulfill the PA's precondition for renewing negotiations.
Fahim Sarhan was serving a life sentence for committing an act of terrorism against Israel. PMW has been unable to verify the details of his crime. He was released in October 2011 as part of the Shalit prisoner exchange deal brokered between the Israeli government and Hamas. In that deal, Israel released 1,027 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, who had been held hostage by Hamas for more than 5 years.

The US tries to divide the Arab world so that Israel will have “supremacy over all Arabs”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Dec. 22, 2013
Official PA TV Live broadcast the third conference of Fatah’s Lebanon branch.
Fatah Central Committee member and director of Fatah’s Foreign Branch Commission Jamal Muhaisen:

“We say to our Arab nation, of which many today have become an instrument for implementing the policy of the US, the primary enemy of our Arab nation and our Islamic nation, [an enemy] that is trying to turn the conflict from an Arab-Israeli [conflict] into a regional, sectarian and national conflict, in order to fragment the region even further, as a service to the Zionist entity, and so Israel will retain supremacy over all Arabs. We say to the American instruments, and to anyone who supported the unrealistic slogan ‘the Arab Spring’: This is the American autumn. This is an effort to destroy the potential for [establishing] an Arab nation and to divide the Arab nation according to the American plans. The time has come for stronger popular unification to deal with these plans. This doesn’t prevent the existence of an internal struggle to strengthen democracy and increase freedom for the nations that sometimes experience abuse and tyranny under various regimes.”
Europe Court of Auditors calls to stop paying salaries to Gazan civil servants who haven’t worked since 2007
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Dec. 12, 2013
Headline: “European supervisory body calls to cease payment of salaries of workers in the Gaza Strip, and the [European] Commission responds that there is no proof of corruption or mismanagement of our money”
“The European Court of Auditors demanded yesterday that there be a ‘complete overhaul’ of the financial aid that the European Union transfers to the Gaza Strip, as it is used to pay the salaries of civil servants who ‘don’t work.’ This drew a sharp reply from the European Commission and opposition from the Fatah movement.
[Member of the European Court of Auditors] Hans Gustaf Wessberg, who is responsible for the report, stated at a press conference in Brussels that the financial aid that the European Union gives to the Gaza Strip mandates a ‘complete overhaul’. Since 2007, the European Union, the main donor to the Palestinian Authority, has granted 2.9 million dollars to projects in the occupied territories, 20% of all European aid designated to the ‘Neighborhood Policy’. Some salaries of civil servants in the Gaza Strip (teachers and doctors) [parentheses in source] are paid by European grants, but Wessberg noted in his report that the European Union paid salaries of civil servants that aren’t working, at times for six years (i.e., since the Hamas takeover in 2007). According to the assessment of the European Court of Auditors, about 22% of the workers in the health system and 24% of the workers in the education sector receive European [funded] salaries even though they don’t actually work…"

Senior PA official celebrates “magnificent” terrorist “heroes returning from captivity”
Source: Official PA TV Live, Nov. 3, 2013
PA TV broadcast a rally in Surif, Hebron in honor of released prisoners Ziyad Ghneimat, Mustafa Ghneimat, and Najeh Muqbil.
Abbas Zaki: "How great and magnificent what you have done, oh heroes returning from captivity. How great are these men of great stature, for you sieged the prison guard. How great are you, for you knew that you are potential Martyrs (Shahids), yet your will was stronger than any [Israeli] decision and any outcome... We are the ones who planted the spirit of defiance in this nation, and we have been the school [to teach] the culture of resistance... We took up arms, and with cascades of blood we inscribed [in the books of history] victory after victory. And today, through diplomacy, by winning the world over on our side, and by removing Israel from public opinion (i.e., as a legitimate state), we will administer the poison to them drop by drop… I congratulate the Hebron District on [the return] of this group of select men. And when I mention Mustafa, Ziyad, and Najeh, I add also the great eagle Fakhri Barghouti –33 years in prison, and here he is with us! …
I would like now to recall the commander of the operation, [Muhammad] Abu Shadi Al-Tous, whom we look up to with respect. The reason they are postponing [the release of] this commander is that he angered them more by having been the commander of the operation. We also salute [his wife] Um Shadi, and every front, and [we salute] all those beloved heroes, the pioneers, the free men, the fighters, like these heroes (points to the three released prisoners)… We say to Israel: Die in your rage. Go to your cemeteries and recite over your dead whatever you recite. Here they are [who Israel said] 'have blood on their hands' (i.e., murderers); here they are [back] among their own people: fighters, knights, free men!”

Following is the translation of the announcement:

The [Palestinian Authority] security services arrested six Hamas members and confiscated more than a million Euros that was in their possession... Nablus Governor Jamal Muhaisen clarified that the security forces [of the Palestinian Authority] confiscated documents dealing with the transfer of 38,000 Jordanian Dinars from abroad that were used for acquisition of arms for Hamas. He said that 'Hamas is using women and the sick to transfer money illegally.'"
