Marwan Al-Qawasmi and Amer Abu Aisheh were Hamas terrorists who kidnapped and murdered three Israeli youths on June 12, 2014: Eyal Yifrach,19, Gilad Shaar,16, and Naftali Frenkel,16. The Israeli boys' bodies were found by Israeli security forces near Hebron on June 30, 2014. The PA Minister of Religious Affairs Yusuf Ida'is also called the murderers "Martyrs" who were "assassinated" by Israel:

Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Aug. 23, 2012
Headline: "Ida'is calls for the convening of an Arab-Islamic summit to address the Israeli plans against [the] Al-Aqsa [Mosque], and the Ministry of Information calls to maintain the Arabness of Jerusalem"
"President of the Supreme Islamic Court and Chairman of the Supreme Council of Islamic Law, Sheikh Yusuf Ida'is, published a press release with the 43rd anniversary of the arson in the Al-Aqsa Mosque as its subject…
Ida'is stressed that the Al-Aqsa Mosque, with all its plazas, domes, walls, gates, open areas and foundations, belongs only and solely to all Muslims throughout the world, and that Jews have no right to it.
He added that this painful anniversary comes in the shadow of an unprecedented attack by the Israeli occupation authorities, aimed at creating biblical parks in the plazas of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in preparation for its division that in turn will be followed by its [the mosque’s] destruction and the building of the alleged Temple in its stead."
PA daily quotes Sheikh: Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine, the Jews have no right to Jerusalem
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Feb. 12, 2012
Headline: "Calls to head for Al-Aqsa [Mosque] in order to thwart the attempt to invade it; the occupation turns Jerusalem into barracks"
"Occupation forces reinforced their military and police presence in the city of Jerusalem last night… in the wake of an announcement by members of the Likud extremist right-wing party as to [their intention to] break into the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday, and a call to its supporters to invade it in order to build the alleged Temple upon the ruins of the mosque… In this regard, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Islamic Law, Sheikh Yusuf Ida'is, called upon the Palestinian people, and especially the residents of Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948, to head for the Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to thwart the attempt to invade it… He noted that Jerusalem is the capital of the independent Palestinian state, and that the Jews have no rights to it.
Ida'is stated that the dangers facing the city of Jerusalem are real dangers. He called upon the Arab League, the Jerusalem Conference, the Organization of the Islamic Conference, and the UN, to do what they must to prevent these criminal and provocative acts, and to help the city of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque."
PA Chairman of Council for Shari'ah law defends PA Mufti hate speech following PMW exposure
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 24, 2012
Palestinian Media Watch exposed a speech by the PA Mufti citing the Islamic tradition (Hadith) that anticipates the killing of Jews by Muslims. The Mufti faced international condemnation for the speech. In response, PA Chairman of the Supreme Council for Shari'ah Law, Sheikh Yusuf Ida'is, defended the PA Mufti, in the following article in the PA daily:
"Chairman of the Supreme Council for Shari'ah Law, Sheikh Yusuf Ida'is, emphasized that the decision by the occupation Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, to open an investigation against the Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories and speaker at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, is an insult to Muslims, an escalation of Israeli measures against our people, and an attempt to silence and intimidate the voice that defends Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Ida'is emphasized that our people will not agree to insults to its religious authorities and symbols. He described Netanyahu's call as a political step designed to strengthen the occupation with its discriminatory laws, and as a dangerous precedent that joins the occupation's [other] precedents and repeated violations. He declared the occupation fully responsible for [protecting] Sheikh Muhammad Hussein's life. Idai's called for restraint of the official and unofficial Israeli mouthpieces which incite against Palestinian religious and national leaders. He demanded of the Islamic and Christian sources of authority around the world, legal institutions, and international human rights organizations to denounce the brutal attack against Sheikh Hussein, since it runs contrary to international law."

Headline: “Our people’s religious leaders are calling for help in order to save Jerusalem”
“The office of the Chief Religious Justice of the Supreme Council for Shari'ah Justice held a press conference yesterday at the governmental information center at the Ministry of Information in Ramallah, in which speakers addressed the Israeli violations against the city of Jerusalem and the sites holy to Islam and to Christianity. [...] Attending the press conference were Chairman of the Supreme Council for Shari'ah Justice, Sheikh Yusuf Iddais; Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein; and Deputy Minister of Christian Religious Affairs, Hanna Issa, and representatives of the local, Arab, and world media...
Sheikh Hussein […] noted that in recent years Israel has built 65 synagogues inside the holy city, the latest being the “Hurva” synagogue. The Israelis were optimistic that this would be a prelude to the establishment of the alleged Temple…
Sheikh Hussein noted that several things must be done to stop the Israeli attacks and Judaization, including visiting the holy city, carrying out Ribat within it, and exposing Israeli actions."
