PLO official Ashrawi condemns Manchester terrorist attack

Contrary to terror attacks against Israelis, the terror attack in Manchester, UK  was immediately condemned by PLO official Ashrawi.

“The PLO and important Palestinian figures condemned the terror attack that took place two nights ago [May 22, 2017] in Manchester, Britain, which caused the death of 22 people and the wounding of 50 others.
[PLO Executive Committee member] Hanan Ashrawi expressed heartfelt condolences on behalf of the PLO Executive Committee over the victims of the terror attacks. This was in a condolence telegram that Ashrawi sent yesterday (Tuesday) [May 23, 2017] to British Consul General [to Jerusalem] Alastair McPhail …
She added: ‘These barbaric attacks are shocking and despicable, and they challenge our human values. In these difficult times, our common values that are based on peace, justice, and tolerance give us strength and hope to advance towards a secure and shining future.’
Meanwhile, the [PA] Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the cowardly terror attack that struck Manchester in Britain in the strongest of terms.”

The article refers to a suicide bombing attack in which 22 people were murdered and another 64 were wounded outside a performance in Manchester, England by American pop singer Ariana Grande on May 22, 2017. The attack, which was claimed by ISIS, was committed by terrorist Salman Abedi, who was born in Manchester to a Libyan family.
