Abbas’ advisor: “America will not remain America… Jerusalem is Palestine’s capital forever”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Dec. 22, 2017

Supreme Shari’ah Judge and Mahmoud Abbas’ advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habbash:
"Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque are greater than history, and greater than all of the nations and peoples… The one who determines the fate of Jerusalem is not the American president, and not America, and not all of the states of the world… The one who determined the fate of Jerusalem is Allah… Jerusalem is Arab, Islamic, Palestinian, and also Christian forever! Forever!... Trust in Allah, the balance will change. America will not remain America, and the present world will not remain as it is…  The most important, permanent, and influential factor in the battle for Jerusalem – and I say this to the entire nation – is the factor of religion and faith… The victory in Jerusalem is coming, it is coming. And Jerusalem is Palestine’s capital forever! Forever! And the rubbish of the American president isn’t worth – I say again – isn’t worth the urine of one Jerusalem child."

Political analyst on PA TV following US decision on Jerusalem: “The day will come when we will buy every Palestinian a rifle”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Dec. 22, 2017
Official PA TV, special broadcast on US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, hosting political analyst Hani Abu Zaid

Official PA TV host: “How do these sights [of Palestinian protest] affect global public opinion, and particularly – and I want to remind you and the viewers – today [Dec. 22, 2017] French President [Emmanuel Macron] said in a press conference with [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas] that the events and bloodshed that came following [US President Donald] Trump’s decision [to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital] on Dec. 6 [2017] are unacceptable.” […]
Hani Abu Zaid: “And in the past, on this program, I told you that the day will come when we will buy every Palestinian a rifle. But always, when we agree on something, we do not violate the commitment. We have been agreeing to the continuation of a peace process before the world for 23 years - but what peace process? After all that has happened – let the president say what he will say, and let the political leaders say what they will say, but honestly, turn to the Palestinian and Arab publics – there is no longer any peace process…
On Dec. 6, the Oslo Accords were buried and the talk about that which is called the peace process stopped completely. Today we are in a new struggle, a new struggle of wills, and in a new battle that requires new methods in the political and diplomatic work, in addition to the public movement, public activity, intifada, and confrontations. We need international pressure and international aid from our Arab brothers and our friends in the world, and this is the beginning of the diplomatic action – President [Abbas] visiting President Macron in order to put in place a new mechanism on the international front, so that we will be able firstly to demand a fully sovereign state at the [UN] General Assembly, and secondly to
PA TV host and magazine editor deny Jewish historical ties to the land of Israel

Official PA TV, special broadcast on US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, hosting Editor-in-Chief of the Siyasat Magazine Atef Abu Saif

Official PA TV host: “Israelis historians are coming out and saying: ‘We have proven, and the attempts have proven after 50 years of searching and research, that there is nothing that indicates a Jewish civilization (sic. , such evidence abounds).’”
Editor-in-Chief of the Siyasat Magazine Atef Abu Saif: “The Jews passed through. Their original name is the Hebrews. They actually- if we want to count how many people have passed through our land and we hosted them, fed them, gave them drink, and said, ‘We will build you a home next to us here,’ then it works out that all of the peoples of the world- and that is the value of Palestine. However, the Zionist racism came to change reality. In other words, if we- after all, the P ersians lived with us (sic., there were no Palestinians during the Persian occupation of the Land of Israel in the 6th-4th century BCE). This is the land of the civilizations... Therefore, it is impossible to say anything bad about the Palestinian people. The entire world wants Palestine, but it is not the right of anyone other than the Palestinian civilians, who are the descendants of this huge river of the civilizations, this great river of heritage and cultural values. They are the only ones who own this land.”

Secretary of the PLO Executive Committee, Fatah Central Committee member, and PLO Chief Negotiator Saeb Erekat: “This is a day on which everyone is witness to international law and international legitimacy... Honor and pride to the states of the world and the great majority that refused the language of extortion and threats used by [US] President [Donald] Trump’s administration. The truth is that US Representative [Ambassador to the UN] Nikki Haley has decided to replace the principles of international law with the principles of billionaire extremist Zionist gambler Sheldon Adelson, and decided to stand alongside the settlements and occupation instead of standing alongside peace, justice, and international law.”

PLO official accuses US of acting like a “mafia” over UN vote on US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Dec. 20, 2017
Official PA TV, special broadcast, hosting PLO Executive Committee member Hanan Ashrawi

Official PA TV host: “In everything related to the [UN General Assembly] meeting tomorrow [Dec. 21, 2017, about US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital], according to the media outlets there are threatening messages from Washington to the states that will vote tomorrow at the UN General Assembly.”
PLO Executive Committee member Hanan Ashrawi: “This is cheap and very shameful extortion. Undoubtedly this [US Ambassador to the UN] Nikki Haley - I don’t know who appointed her as the world’s police officer. She undoubtedly told the states in closed meetings, and afterwards stated in her Twitter account, that ‘We will be following the vote of every state and I will submit a report to the president [Trump], and when you submit a request for aid or any type of special request, we will settle accounts with you over your vote now’ (See note below –Ed.). In other words, this very cheap and shameful extortion, the threat, and the warning are befitting of a state whose nation has declined, whose international level - whose rhetorical, ethical, political, and legal level [has declined] to this level. It acts as if it is a mafia.”

Op-ed in official PA daily says one would think Nikki Haley ordered the assassination of Rabin, that she is an “extremist” and a “racist”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Dec. 20, 2017
Excerpt of op-ed by Bassem Barhoum, regular columnist for the official PA daily

Headline: "Haley retroactively assassinates Rabin"

"Whoever listened to [US President Donald] Trump's representative in the UN, [US Ambassador to the UN] Nikki Haley, in the two meetings of the [UN] Security Council regarding Jerusalem will think that she is the one that ordered the assassination of [former Israeli Prime Minister] Yitzhak Rabin. If Rabin and [former Israeli President] Shimon Peres were alive, they would advise Haley to rationally examine Israel's interests, and not out of Zionist extremism…
Haley is not [only] biased in favor of Israel, because all of the US representatives were biased. She does not [only] adopt the Zionist ideology and enterprise; she is by her existence Zionist, extremist, and racist. Many Israelis think that Haley hates the Palestinians even more than they themselves do…
Haley is not only Zionist and an extremist Zionist; she is a racist that hates the Palestinian people, which she blames as the one that rejects the peace proposals, and not [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu's government, the government of settlements and expansion. This extremist Zionist views the role that the US played in the past in the peace process – [a role] that is known for being biased in favor of Israel – as a betrayal of the American conscience. [She thinks that] the fact that the American presidents in the past did not transfer their embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem also constitutes a betrayal of the conscience. What conscience is Haley talking about? Undoubtedly she views Rabin's signing of the Oslo [Accords in 1993] as a betrayal of Zionism, and therefore the assassination of the traitor was necessary."
