and the Hula Lake are "Palestinian" is worth $50

By Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik

On a quiz show on Palestinian Authority TV, Palestinians could win $50 - $100 if they denied Israel's existence. A reporter asked Palestinians in the streets to guess cities in "Palestine," locate places in "Palestine," or describe "Palestine's" borders. For each correct answer participants won $50. The purpose of these questions was to reinforce the PA message that it does not recognize Israel in any borders.
Following are some examples, see more below:

Official PA TV host: "Where is the Negev Desert?"
Child: "I don't know."
Father: "Southern Palestine." (i.e., the Negev is in southern Israel)
Host: "Let's get the answer from Muhammad."
Child: "Southern Palestine" (i.e., in southern Israel)
Host: "Congratulations, you've won $50 in cash."

Host: "The highest peak in Palestine is the peak of Mount Meron, Galilee, or Ebal?"
Father: "Meron." (i.e., Mt. Meron is in northern Israel)
Host: "Congratulations, you've won $100. The correct answer is [Mount] Meron."

Official PA TV host: "The question: A Palestinian village named after a Roman emperor... I'll give options: Caesarea -"
Child: "Caesarea."
Host: "Tamra, or Qusra?"
Child: "Caesarea." (i.e., Caesarea is in northern Israel)
Host: "Congratulations, Adnan won $50."

Official PA TV host: "Where is Safed located in Palestine?"
Man: "It's located in northern Palestine." (i.e., in northern Israel)
Host: "Congratulations. It's located in the north."

The "correct" answers given by Palestinians of all ages, confirm that the PA's indoctrination of Palestinians from a young age to see all of the State of Israel as "occupied Palestine" has been successful. For two decades, Palestinian Media Watch has documented numerous examples of this PA policy to replace all of Israel with "Palestine" and deny Israel's right to exist.

Palestinian kids have for example been taught by PA TV that "all of occupied Palestine is ours and will return to us one day":

At school, Palestinian kids study schoolbooks that only include maps that label the entire area of Israel together with the PA areas as "Palestine." This map in a PA schoolbook defined as the "geographical area" of the "state of Palestine," is covered in the Palestinian flag to indicate Palestinian sovereignty over the entire area. [PA 7th Grade Social Studies, Part A, pg. 4]

The participants in the recent PA TV quiz have all grown up on TV shows and schoolbooks such as these - tools used to further the PA indoctrination to see all of Israel as "Palestine."

PMW has documented that PA TV has used similar quizzes in the past to promote the denial of Israel's existence to Palestinians. During Ramadan in 2016, PA TV likewise taught kids that Israel's Mount Meron is in "Palestine":

In 2013, denying Israel's existence was worth $100:

In 2010, a PA TV host challenged Palestinians in refugee camps in Lebanon and Syria to name
five cities "in Palestine" or "the countries sharing borders with Palestine." Participants who categorized Israeli cities such as Jaffa, Haifa, Acre, and Ramle as "in Palestine" were awarded $100.

University students were tested on their knowledge of "Palestine's" borders and
their inclination to deny the existence of Israel in a PA TV quiz in 2010. Correct answers presented "Palestine" and Syria as bordering Lebanon:

The following are additional quiz questions and "correct" answers, replacing all of Israel with "Palestine":

PA TV quiz erases Israel: The Negev, Mount Meron, Caesarea, Safed, and Hula Lake are in "Palestine"
Official PA TV host: "A lake in Palestine that is only two meters above sea level and whose area is 14,000 dunams. The options are: The Taninim River, Hula [Lake], or Besor River."
Participant: "The Hula." (i.e., in northern Israel)
Host: "Congratulations, you've won $50 in cash."

Official PA TV host: "The question is: What is the Palestinian city built by the Crusaders that has a large percentage of Druze?"
Participant: "Julis." (i.e., in northern Israel)
Official PA TV host: "Julis is the correct answer. You've won $50 in cash."

PA TV quiz asserts Israeli city and the Negev Desert are in "Palestine"
Official PA TV host: "A Palestinian city that was known in the past for the production of charcoal: ... Nazareth, Umm Al-Fahm, or Qalqilya?"

[Official PA TV, Winner, May 23, 2018]

PA TV quiz erases Israel: "Palestine's" border with Jordan is 360 km., with Syria 76 km., with Lebanon 79 km. Correct answers win $50
Official PA TV host: "The question is: 360 km. is the length of the Palestinian border with the State of Jordan, Egypt, Syria, or Lebanon?
Participant: "Jordan."
Host: "360 km. is the length of the Palestinian border with the State of Jordan. Correct answer! You've won $50 in cash. The second question is: 76 km. is the length of the border between Palestine and Syria, Egypt, or Lebanon?
Participant: "Syria."
