PA TV host honors imprisoned terrorists, calling them “heroic” and “brave”

Official PA TV program Giants of Endurance, hosted Jihad Al-Shahatit, a released prisoner from Dura who served 13 years in prison and interviewed him about the atmosphere in prison during Ramadan, and the way the prison authorities treat prisoners during Ramadan.

Released terrorist Jihad Al-Shahatit: “Greetings to our heroic prisoners in the darkness of prison, to our brother and great Commander Abu Al-Qassam - Marwan Barghouti, to friend Ahmad Sa’adat, and to all the brothers who are members of the PA Parliament (Legislative Committee)...”
Mother of terrorist Ali Abd Al-Hadi Al-Bo: “I am the mother of prisoner Ali Abd Al-Hadi Al-Bo.”
Official PA TV reporter: “How long is his sentence?”
Mother of terrorist Ali Abd Al-Hadi Al-Bo: “My son was sentenced to 2 life sentences, 50 years, and [a fine of] 3,500,000 shekels...”
Official PA TV host: “The mother of the heroic prisoner [Ali Abd Al-Hadi Al-Bo] drew my attention [when she said]: ’Food has no taste when my son is in the occupation’s prison.’”
Young girl: “We greet heroic prisoner Bilal Abbas...”
Official PA TV host: “All blessings to our prisoner Bilal Abbas and all our brave prisoners.”

Notes: Marwan Barghouti (Abu Al-Qassam) - serving 5 life sentences for orchestrating three shooting attacks that killed 5 people: one in Jerusalem (June 12, 2001, 1 killed), another in Givat Zeev near Jerusalem (Jan. 15, 2002, 1 killed), and one in Tel Aviv (March 5, 2002, 3 killed). When arrested in 2002, he headed the Tanzim (Fatah terror faction). After he was convicted and imprisoned, he was re-elected member of the Palestinian Authority parliament.

Ahmad Sa’adat - serving a 30-year sentence for heading the PFLP terror organization. A song at a PFLP event also praised him for planning the assassination of Israeli Minister of Tourism Rehavam Ze'evi in 2001, but he has not been tried for this crime.

Ali Sa’ada [Al-Bo] and Wa’al Al-Araja - members of a Palestinian gang of stone-throwers who were convicted of the murder of Asher Palmer, 25, and his baby son Yonatan near Kiryat Arba in the West Bank on Sept. 23, 2011. Al-Araja threw two stones at Palmer’s car from a vehicle driven by Sa’ada, hitting Yonatan in the head and causing Palmer to lose control of his vehicle, which ran into a gulley, killing both of them instantly.

Bilal Abbas Abd Al-Fattah - a Fatah terrorist who is serving 2 life sentences and 25 years in prison. He and Ahmad Hussein Madi shot Avi and Avital Wolanski to death and wounded their three-year-old son in an attack in the West Bank on Aug. 5, 2002. The two had previously carried out a shooting attack in the West Bank in which one person was wounded on July 24, 2002.
