PLO: "Legal freedom prisoners" are not terrorists

Headline: “6,635 arrests were carried out during 2016 – it is the year of the blow to the political and legal status of the prisoners and the legitimacy of their struggle”
“The [PLO] Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs said in its annual report, which deals with Israel’s violations and crimes against the prisoners in the occupation’s prisons, that 2016 was the year of the blow to the prisoners politically and legally, and of the delegitimization of their national struggle.
The commission said yesterday [Dec. 31, 2016] in its report that the racist occupation government still acts towards the prisoners according to its military laws and not according to international law, treats them as criminals and terrorists without legal rights, and does not recognize them as legal freedom prisoners who are protected by four Geneva Conventions.”
