PA Ministry of Information falsely claims Israel has honored Baruch Goldstein, who murdered 29 praying Palestinians, by naming streets after him

Headline: “[PA] Ministry of Information: Netanyahu does not cease to incite and is doing nothing for peace”

“The [PA] Ministry of Information today (Tuesday) [June 20, 2017] said that it is monitoring Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements against [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas regarding what he called ‘ poisoning the minds of Palestinian youth,’ his demand to ‘educate for peace, not terror,’ and his attack on naming a square after Martyr (Shahid) Khaled Nazzal (i.e., terrorist, planned murder of 31 ) in Jenin.
The [PA] ministry added in its announcement that the government of Israel, and its leader Netanyahu, do not cease lethal incitement and to pay money for the defense of Israeli murderers, criminals, and terrorists.
It continued: ‘The incitement from the occupation prime minister is the recycling of an occupation discourse packed with fraud and fabrication, while ignoring that Israel is proud of murderers and criminals from among its army and its settlers who have committed crimes against humanity against the members of our people since 1948, have committed barbaric massacres, have completely erased hundreds of cities and villages, and are continuing on the same path throughout the Palestinian land.’
The announcement also stated: ‘The ministry emphasizes that the fact that Israel names institutions, airports, universities, streets, and squares after its founders, the leaders of its gangs, and the commanders of its army, such as Theodor Herzl (i.e., a founder of the modern Zionist movement), [former Israeli Minister of Defense] Moshe Dayan, [former Israeli Prime Ministers ] David Ben Gurion, Golda Meir, Yitzhak Shamir, Ariel Sharon, and dozens of others, and after the extremists of its settlers, such as arch-murderer Baruch Goldstein (sic., Israel has not named anything after Goldstein, see note below –Ed.) who committed the Ibrahimi Mosque (i.e., Cave of the Patriarchs) Massacre, and is paying them money (sic ., all of the individuals named here are no longer alive), constitutes an explicit call to kill the members of our people and terror glorification, which will not lead to a balanced peace under any circumstances.’”

Khaled Nazzal - Secretary of the Central Committee of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), and commander of its military branch. He was responsible for terrorists taking school children as hostages and murdering 22 children and 4 adults in Ma'alot (May 15, 1974), the murder of 4 hostages in an apartment building in Beit Shean (Nov. 19, 1974), and a shooting and grenade attack in central Jerusalem in which 1 was murdered and 47 others were wounded (April 2, 1984).

Cave of the Patriarchs massacre - On Feb. 25, 1994, Baruch Goldstein, a member of an Israeli far-right movement, opened fire on Muslims praying inside the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron, known to Muslims as the "Ibrahimi Mosque," killing 29 and wounding 125. Following the attack, which was widely condemned by Israeli leaders and Jewish communities abroad, the Israeli government took concrete steps to prevent similar attacks from occurring by dividing the area of worship into Muslim and Jewish sections and designating several extremist movements, including Goldstein’s, as illegal terrorist groups.
