Violence and terror
From music to murder
Violence and terror
After demonizing Jews and Israelis, including citing Islamic sources that depict Jews negatively, and culminating with ongoing lies and libels that portray Jews as an immediate threat to Palestinian life and existence, the Palestinian Authority foment violence against Jews and Israelis, presenting it as legitimate and even heroic self-defense.

PA terror promotion takes many forms. Nationalistically, the PA actively elevates violence as a valid and heroic means to achieve political goals, while religiously, fighting and killing Jews has been presented repeatedly by PA religious and academic leaders as Allah’s will. On the social level, Palestinian leaders and society honor even the most loathsome of murderers portraying them as heroes and role models: Dalal Mughrabi, who led a bus hijacking in which 37 were killed, has schools, summer camps, and many other events and places baring her name to immortalize and glorify her and her terror attack.

Click to view PMW special report: “From Terrorists to Role Models

The success of the PA’s promotion of violence is readily evident: A majority of Palestinians support killing and suicide terror against civilian Jews and Israelis. A poll conducted after the murder of eight teenagers who were studying in a Jerusalem high school in 2008, found that 84% of Palestinians supported the murder [NY Times, March 19, 2008, citing the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research].

This violent image of a dagger being thrust into the Star of David has appeared hundreds of times in a video clip for children on PA TV, from 2001 – 2008.

Music video celebrates suicide bombings and Hamas bomb maker Ayyash: “Strap on an explosive belt... O Martyrdom seeker, respond to Al-Aqsa’s call... send them to Hell... Let fire burn them, turn them into body parts, roast them”
Source: Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas), Feb. 6, 2016

Video shows a band preforming in front of a smoking, blown up bus, and shows a reenactment of events leading up to the bus exploding: Terrorists plan the attack, the suicide bomber who carries out the attack prays, waits for the bus and then boards the bus together with other passengers, some of whom are Orthodox Jews. The bomber is seen clutching his stomach before the sound of an explosion is heard.

Text on poster: "Commander Yahya Ayyash"  (Note: Ayyash was responsible for the death of dozens of Israelis in suicide bombings)

Lyrics: "Happy are you, O Ayyash’s brother Allah’s blessings upon you
Your bomb [fragments] are inside the enemy’s body
You did not allow any bus to drive in the street without its roof flying into the sky
The roof along with body parts...
O bearer of good news, strap on an explosive belt
Nothing will be told about the Intifada except for the roof of the bus that flew off
O Martyrdom seeker, respond to Al-Aqsa’s call
Make the bomb even more powerful
Bring [Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu down
And the losses should be too many for him to count
Scatter them in all directions, terrorize their families
Have no mercy on the settlers
Onward, send them to Hell
They have nothing but graveyards...
O Martyrdom seeker, make them weep
Let fire burn them, turn them into body parts, roast them...
We want the street to overflow with dead and the blood to increase their suffering"

Fatah youth movement song: "Hold your weapon and load it… Pour the fire of rage on the enemy... Hand me the weapon... Our enemy will pay with his blood"
Source: Fatah-run Awdah TV, Jan. 21, 2016

This song promoting violence against Israelis started to appear on social media with the beginning of the Palestinian wave of attacks against Israelis which began in September/October 2015, lasted 6 months and killed over 30 Israelis

Lyrics: "Go out against the treacherous enemy
Even if you hold [only] a rock in your hand
O you, who will never forget a blood revenge
O vigorous person, get up and strap on the belt of fire
And sound for us the voice of the attack
Go out against the enemy, go out, resist, hit, go out
Through rocks [the child Martyr] Faris [Ouda] stood against the arsenal and defeated a tank...
Challenge the enemy
He who humiliates us will not live...
Hold your weapon and load it, leave the revolution burning...
O Fatah fire, burn, constantly and victoriously
Pour the fire of rage on the enemy...
Hand me the weapon and the equipment
Place thousands of cartridges on me
Our enemy will pay with his blood...
I marched determinedly through desert and forests
Holding a submachine gun in my hands which arises out of the rock"

Source: Fatah-run Awdah TV, Jan. 4, 2016

"Pick up your weapon and advance, Jerusalem is calling in pain
Come on, strike them, you have the strength
Turn your anger into the fire of Hell…
Besiege them in all their neighborhoods
Drown them in a sea of blood
Kill them as you wish
The one who burned the [Dawabshe] baby is the most oppressive...
Muhannad [Halabi] (i.e., murderer of 2) did not agree to be humiliated
and made them drink the bitter cup...
Advance to the battlefield and resist
Challenge death and resist
Victory is undoubtedly coming to us
Those who don’t understand will understand...
Fadi Alloun (i.e., terrorist who stabbed one) has joined the great Martyrs"

PA TV song honoring Arafat glorifies violence and venerates rifle
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Jan. 3, 2016

"Engrave on the rifle butt the symbol of Fatah's Al-Asifa [unit]
He [Arafat] taught the whole world how to revolt. Yasser - symbol of freedom
Oh Elder, I swear by [your] uniform and your keffiya
Mahmoud Abbas is on the same path when it comes to [our] state and identity
We fired the rifle, we faced the storm
We responded to the cannon with a pistol
Using stones, we ignited a revolution and wrote [history], oh Fatah men
On the rifle butt, we have engraved [Fatah's] symbol
On the grip, we have engraved "Arafat"
On the top cover we have inscribed the history of the free
On the barrel -- the name of the homeland
The flash-suppressor ignited and burst
Here it is, oh rifle sight
The state is only a few meters away
Oh action-spring, receive and shoot [bullets] continuously
Change the magazine -- there are hundreds [of them]
Load it into the chamber
Oh AK-47, make sounds of joy and salute the Elder (Arafat)"

Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Nov. 15, 2015

Song broadcast on official PA TV
: Story of a Hero by singer Shadi Al-Burini
"Mahmoud woke up and left quickly. He wanted to return quickly
[He told his wife:] 'Give me the rifle.' She said: 'Be careful.'
He told her: 'My land calls me. I'm going and my blood belongs to my land.
And if I do not return, tell Ahmad (i.e., their unborn son) "there is nothing sweeter than Martyrdom."
'My land will remain free, despite the occupation
When Palestine calls us, it will find us [ready] on the top of the hill.
This land raised free men, glory and suffering have been sown in it
Whenever it is thirsty, the blood of righteous Martyrs will water it.'
Mahmoud resisted and did not give in
This is what he was taught and what he learned
In his last breath he said ‘There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his Prophet’
And closed his eyes and smiled.
[His son] Ahmad, 14 years later
Martyrs do not die
We are a people that do not know fear
We love Martyrdom
Here in Palestine, here we remain."

Palestinian video on Facebook promotes stabbing of Jews: "Cut, tear apart... Resist"

Osama Issa Al-Nashar, Gazan singer:
Visuals: Scenes from stabbing attacks against Israelis
"Stab! Stab!
Stab, West Bank man and resist! Stab, West Bank man and resist!
Trample the oppressor under your feet
Never agree to the humiliation
Cut, tear apart, come battle!
O West Bank of [Yahya] Ayyash (i.e., Hamas bomb maker and inventor of suicide bombings), this is our Jerusalem!
From now on we will not agree to being humiliated
For your men love the ringing sound of their swords
And competed among themselves for Allah, how good is Heaven
Make volcanoes of war erupt at the front line,
shower the humiliated Jews with fire
Let fear come down on them, and let death come for them in a flash
Children of Zion, tell of the swords that were openly plunged in you
Your necks and heads, your buses and soldiers have tasted the taste of a stabbing ambush!"

“Where are the millions?‎
Where is the Arab people?‎
Where is the Arab rage?‎
Where is the Arab blood?‎
Where is the Arab honor?‎
Where are the millions? Where?‎
People lie in comfortable beds while millions suffer
In my chest is a [whole] gun magazine, where are you, my brothers?‎
The revolution [needs] men, it is not bought with money
The revolution of a people holding rocks against fleets
‎[They] sacrificed from young to old, out of obligation and not as a kindness...‎
Allah is with us. He is stronger and greater than the Children of Zion
Even if they hang, kill and bury [me], my land will not be humilated
My red blood will water the green with the flavor of lemon
The fire of revolution is getting stronger and flaring up. We are the victors.”‎

Child soldier encourages violence against Israel in Fatah Facebook ‎music video

Child singer Muhammad Al-Basyouni:‎
"See the [Al-Aqsa Martyrs’) Brigades (Fatah’s military wing) who set up ambushes
The Al-Aqsa Martyrs emerged with rifles
He wore a vest, bade farewell and returned with booty: a machine gun and a cannon
He overcame his wounds
I saw the Brigades' member when he left
A machine gun and a rifle adorned his clothes
May he stay young
The Brigades, the Brigades
The Brigades’ hawk with the keffiyeh – who else has his stature?‎
See how the follower of Yasser [Arafat] reacts when he raises his weapon
Brigades, [your] snipers vowed to hit the target with the first shot
The [Brigades'] bombing made a loud noise
The Brigades set out on a mission and waited for the signal
Tell those who were not there: We laid mines in the orchard
O my land, be strong and tremble from the Al-Aqsa rockets. Be proud
We defied the [Israeli] drone and retaliated against the [air] strike."

Palestinian song calls for kidnapping Israeli soldiers and honors Hamas terrorists
Source: YouTube, Oct. 10, 2014
Song published on YouTube on Oct. 10, 2014
Title: "On the Borders"
"The [Izz Al-Din] Al-Qassam people went out to the borders
To capture soldiers
And raise the morale
Going, going, [Izz Al-Din] Al-Qassam people are winning
Allah willing, tomorrow our prisoners will leave their prison cells (i.e., in exchange deal with Israel for captured soldiers)
And from below and above ground
Fire is lit in the battlefields
Salute the lions of honor, who roar standing tall
The 'Devoured Chaff' battle (i.e., 2014 Gaza War)
Remains [a source of] honor and a wonder
[Ahmed] Al-Ja'abari (i.e., planner of numerous Hamas terror attacks) and [Abd Al-Aziz] Al-Rantisi (i.e., co-founder of Hamas), giving the lethal blow"

Ahmed Al-Ja'abari was a member of Hamas' political bureau and, beginning in 2002, the operational commander of Hamas' military wing, the Izz A-Din Al-Qassam Brigades. Israel holds him responsible for all terrorist activities against Israel originating from the Gaza Strip between 2002 and his death in 2012, including numerous suicide bombings that killed hundreds of Israeli civilians and soldiers. He was involved in the abduction of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit (June 25, 2006) and in the negotiations surrounding Shalit's release in October 2011. Al-Ja'abari played a leading role in the Hamas takeover of the Gaza Strip in June 2007. He was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Nov. 14, 2012.

Smash the fortress of the hopeless

Every chain will break...
The remains of our bodies and our blood are a song of rage...
For you, sun of truth, gallop forward...
Gallop and fight bravely
Today you'll achieve your victory
Fatah soldiers, rise and saddle the noble steed
Announce that [you are] the rival in the land who burns the foreign enemy
O [Al-Aqsa Martyrs'] Brigades, draw your determination from us and react
Announce that [you will] reach the enemy everywhere...
Stop and consider, sons of Zion, that death is near...
All you'll get from us is death
Stop and consider a thousand times
That a revolution sparks with a flame
Fatah is like a rock, whose soldiers love to fight...
Cry out loud with me
Cry out loud with me: Long live Fatah!
Long live Fatah!"

Take me with you to Palestine…
Take me with you to Palestine, oh men
I want to live or die like men
Now I have a rifle…
I’ll wear death
I’m with the rebels
I’m from the rebels
From the day I carried my rifle
Palestine is a few meters away
Oh rebels

Wherever you are, Oh free people
Move forward, move forward
There is one way to Palestine
That passes through the muzzle of the rifle.”
