Fatah Central Committee member Dalal Salameh: "On this [anniversary of] the Launch (Intilaqa) we are emphasizing that the accumulation of our political activity is a positive matter, as the world is drawing very close to us in its support of our just rights and legal demands, and we have drawn close to it by adopting the strategy of popular resistance (term here refers to events that include violence against Israeli civilians such as rock-throwing, stabbings, and even shootings -Ed.) and drawn close to its conception of the struggle, and it understands that our struggle is legitimate in every form (i.e., including violence)."
