Fatah spokesman calls on “the entire Palestinian people… to escalate the popular uprising” (i.e., violence)

Headline: “Alayan: The occupation’s continued policy of assassinations and withholding the bodies of Martyrs will not achieve calm or security”
“[Official] Fatah Spokesman in occupied Jerusalem Raafat Alayan stressed that the new crime that the occupation has committed against two girls in occupied Jerusalem joins the [list of] worsening crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, and stressed that crimes of this kind will only increase our people’s resolve and strength… Alayan demanded of the entire Palestinian people, in all its diversity and components, to escalate the popular uprising, which is now our only option at the moment, in light of what the Palestinian people is undergoing and the international and regional silence in the face of the occupation’s actions against the Palestinian people. Likewise, Alayan called on the national and Islamic factions to support this popular uprising, and not to leave the relatives of the Martyrs (Shahids) whose bodies are withheld [by Israel] alone in the battle to release their sons’ dead bodies. In addition, he called to the leadership of the Palestinian factions to join our popular resistance in the field, and not only through speeches and announcements. Alayan stressed that there will be no retreat, and saluted the sons of the holy city [Jerusalem] and the Hebron district for their legendary defiance against the occupation.”

Many of the terrorists in the terror wave that began in October 2015 are from Hebron.
