We’ll take Jerusalem “if not peacefully then by force… Allah, drive out the Jews” - PA TV preacher
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Apr. 13, 2018

Friday sermon broadcast from the Al-Omari Mosque in El-Bireh by one of the mosque's regular preachers

Al-Omari Mosque preacher: "At the [Ninth International Islamic Jerusalem] Conference they determined that Jerusalem is the capital of the State of Palestine... and that it is a religious, Shari’ah, and historical right of the Muslims, and of no one else but them... Its participants... clarified that the Jews are an arrogant and tyrannical enemy that is occupying the land of Jerusalem and the land of Palestine, and that they have no right to arrogance, tyranny, and occupation... Allah willing, we will soon take what was taken from us, if not peacefully then by force... How long did the European Crusaders live in this country? They lived here nearly 100 years, but by Allah's will, they left it humiliated.
They left it humiliated and disgraced, dragging their tails behind them, because Allah inscribed for this [Islamic] nation eternity and victory... Allah, protect our Al-Aqsa Mosque and our Jerusalem for us, and return it to the rule and sovereignty of the Muslims. Allah, drive the Jews out of it, humiliated and disgraced , by means of those [the Muslims] who are monotheists, humble, and purified."

PLO official calls for “resistance and intifada as means to achieve the national goals of our people”

Headline: “Abu Yusuf: The arrangement with the Israeli occupation has reached a dead end”

“Secretary-General of the Palestinian Liberation Front and PLO Executive Committee member Wasel Abu Yusuf emphasized that the arrangement with the Israeli occupation has reached a dead end after the failure of the negotiations and everything concerning the peace option, and it has become clear to all that there is a crisis that requires a reexamination of this strategy that has been proven to be a failure…
He noted that what we need is to end the [Fatah-Hamas] rift, strengthen the national unity, defend the national project, revive the PLO, strive to assemble a wider front on the pan-Arab level to deal with the projects that strive against our people’s rights, and adhere to the option of resistance and intifada as means to achieve the national goals of our people for freedom, independence, and return.”
Fatah official: “Our blood is a small price to pay for our homeland… the path of Martyrdom will remain open until the liberation of the homeland [and] Fatah is continuing on the path of Martyrdom”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Mar. 9, 2018
“Fatah Movement Central Committee member and Fatah Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization in the Gaza Strip Ahmed Helles said that Fatah is continuing its path of struggle until the establishment of our independent state whose capital is Jerusalem.
At a rally to mark the Martyrs (Shahids) of the Khuza’a massacre in Khan Yunis, Helles added that our blood is a small price to pay for our homeland and our honor. This is particularly so because our commanders are in the field before our soldiers in order to sacrifice of themselves, and today is the day of loyalty to the Martyrs and the blood, as our blood that has been spilled for the land and homeland raises the souls of our people and our nation. He also emphasized that the path of Martyrdom (Shahada) will remain open until the liberation of the homeland, that Fatah is continuing on the path of Martyrdom, and that the most beautiful thing among us is our Martyrs. Fatah will continue to go on this path until the liberation of our national land and the establishment of our independent state whose capital is Jerusalem.”

Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Mar. 9, 2018

Political analyst Hani Abu Zaid:
"This is the last chance for the president's [Abbas’] initiative, and it should be benefited from, because if the conditions change and the situation changes, the Fatah Movement will not sit idly by, but will bring back armed struggle once again.       “Prisoner Thaer Hammad (i.e., terrorist, murdered 10) said in a letter that he sent from his cell in Nafha Prison: ‘Bringing back the idea of resistance and unity, ending the [Fatah-Hamas] rift, and implementing the reconciliation agreement [between them] are the source of power and the protection for the Palestinian cause. They are the proper response to all the plans and plots the occupation is devising...’
Hammad demanded to resume and revive the spirit of the revolutionary movement, from which the Fatah Movement arose, and the idea of resistance, given that it is the ideal way to protect our cause and our existence in the shadow of the great challenges and dangers that surround us…
Hammad’s letter comes 16 years after the heroic operation (i.e., terror attack) that he carried out in 2002, which is known as the Wadi Al-Haramiya operation. In mentioning it, Hammad noted that his motive for carrying out the operation was his belief in the national obligation and his attempt to inculcate the continuation of the way of resistance on which the Palestinian people has gone throughout the years of its rebellion against the occupation…"

PA Mufti warns of “disasters of wars, anarchy, and instability” in region following US embassy move to Jerusalem, urges Palestinians and Muslims to “sacrifice all that is dear to them”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Feb. 26, 2018
“[PA] Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Territories, preacher at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, [and Palestinian Supreme Fatwa Council Chairman] Sheikh Muhammad Hussein warned against the severity of the American administration’s decision on transferring its embassy to occupied Jerusalem, which was set for Nakba Day (see notes, Ed.). He said that this testifies to the insolence that those who are biased in favor of the occupation have reached, while they continue to do an injustice to our people and its holy sites and to blatantly harm the Palestinian cause in an attempt to eliminate it. The mufti emphasized that this arbitrary behavior will have severe consequences that the American administration will bear. He explained that the transfer of the American embassy to Jerusalem, if it is carried out, will not be an attack on the Palestinians alone, but rather a blatant attack on the Arabs and Muslims throughout the world…and that it will not serve peace and security in the region, but rather bring upon it disasters of wars, anarchy, and instability. Sheikh Hussein added that the residents of Jerusalem and all of the Palestinians, Arabs, and Muslims will not submit to this blatant attack, and will sacrifice all that is dear to them in order to confront the American stubbornness.”

PLO official “emphasized that it is necessary to escalate the intifada and the resistance in all of its forms” in response to Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital
Source: Wattan (independent Palestinian news agency)‎, Feb. 5, 2018
Headline: “Wasel Abu Yusuf: The Palestinian people and its leadership are capable of thwarting all of the American attempts”

“Secretary-General of the Palestinian Liberation Front and PLO Executive Committee member Dr. Wasel Abu Yusuf… warned against [US President Donald Trump's] deal of the century whose goal is to eliminate the Palestinian cause through American decisions and reduce Washington’s aid to UNRWA (UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East). He emphasized that the Palestinian people everywhere it is located adheres to the right of return, to the fact that Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine and that it is necessary to deal with the dangers surrounding the issue – and particularly to all that concerns the American recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of the occupation entity…
Abu Yusuf emphasized that it is necessary to escalate the intifada and the resistance in all of its forms (‎i.e., term used by Palestinians, which also refers to the use of violence and terror‎) against the occupation, until [US President Donald] Trump’s decision is brought down. He also emphasized that the people and factions will thwart the deal of the century, and that all of the plans to eliminate the Palestinian cause will receive a response.”

In early January 2018, the US froze two planned payments to UNRWA (UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) for more than $100 million, and the US administration spoke about the need to reexamine and conduct a reform of the UN body. This occurred after the PA refused to negotiate with Israel and cut diplomatic ties with America following US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital on Dec. 6, 2017.

PLO official urges “adherence to all forms of intifada” including “combative resistance,” endorses Hamas terror leader Haniyeh
Source: Amad, independent Palestinian news website, Feb. 1, 2018
Headline: “Abu Yusuf: Putting Ismail Haniyeh on the terror list is part of America’s hostile position”

“Secretary-General of the Palestinian Liberation Front and PLO Executive Committee member Dr. Wasel Abu Yusuf said that putting [Chairman of Hamas' Political Bureau] brother Ismail Haniyeh on the terror list is part of America’s hostile position regarding the Palestinian people’s rights, and that this position is a clear translation of its partnership with the occupation in the open war against the Palestinian people’s rights.
Abu Yusuf added in an interview with the media outlets that accusing brother Ismail Haniyeh comes as part of the American positions against our people’s rights, and we reject putting brother Haniyeh or any other personage or faction on the terror list. He also emphasized that Hamas and its leadership are a fundamental part of our people and that the demands of our people cannot be defined as ‘terror,’ as this is a legal struggle that is anchored in the decisions of the international bodies…
Abu Yusuf emphasized the need for national unity to manage the conflict with the occupation, for adherence to all forms of intifada and political, popular, and combative resistance, and for agreement on the priorities of each one of them through joint political assessment of the situation and its direct and anticipated developments.”

Chairman of Hamas’ Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh was added to the US terror list by the US State Department on Jan. 31, 2018.
