PA Minister honors murderer of two by attending his daughter's wedding

PA TV News broadcast:

Newsreader: "Minister of Prisoners' Affairs, Issa Karake, said that President Mahmoud Abbas is interested in all the prisoners, and especially in the long-term prisoners. This was during his visit to the homes of the long-term prisoners' families in Jericho."
Reporter: "From the home of prisoner Jum'a Adam, who is serving a life sentence, Minister of Prisoners' Affairs, Issa Karake, and district governor of the Jericho Valley district, Majed Al-Fatiani, started out on their tour of the homes of the district's veteran prisoners… At the home of prisoner Mahmoud Abu Kharbish, who has served a quarter of a century behind bars in the occupation's prisons, the conversation ranged from the mothers' wishes for a speedy release of their sons, to the initiatives in the Ministry [of Prisoners' Affairs] and its auxiliary departments on the national and popular levels, to intensify the campaign of solidarity with prisoners, until they are released…
Not far from the sights of the pain raging in the hearts of the prisoners' families, the family of the prisoner Ahmed Ka'abna, who was sentenced to a life sentence, of which he has served 16 years, [celebrated] the wedding of one of his daughters. This event illustrated the notion of joy mixed with sadness."

Note: Ahmed Ka'abna is serving 2 life sentences for murdering two young Israeli women whom he stabbed in Wadi Kelt in 1997.
