PLO invents Palestinian history, denies Jewish history: “Our people has lived for thousands of years, Israel has no connection”

Headline: "The National Council: The international community must demand an accounting from Israel"

"The Palestinian National Council (i.e., the legislative body of the PLO) said in a notice that it published today (June 4, 2017) for the passing of 50 years since the Naksa (i.e., "the setback," Palestinian term for Israel's victory in the Six Day War) of Palestine… that occupied Jerusalem, with all of its sites that are holy to Christianity and Islam, its Al-Aqsa Mosque, its Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and all of its cultural and human heritage, is the eternal capital of the Palestinian people, the land of the forefathers, in which our people has lived for thousands of years. It is purely Palestinian land to which Israel has no connection…
The Palestinian National Council emphasized again the continuation of the Palestinian struggle in all its means and forms (i.e., including violence) against the Israeli occupation until the achievement of all of our legal rights – the right of return and the right to establish an independent and sovereign state whose capital is Jerusalem on the borders of June 4, 1967."
