PA TV News distorts history, saying “Palestinians” fought the ‎Romans in ancient times

PA TV reporter:
"The settlers invaded an ancient tomb... an ancient rock-cut cave built by the Greeks. The Palestinian rebels used it as a hideout during their war against the Romans... Through recurring invasions and by holding Talmudic ceremonies (i.e., Jewish prayers) in ancient tombs, the occupation is trying to manufacture a new history that legitimizes its occupation."

Note: The Jews, not Palestinians, fought the Roman Empire in Judea from 66-73 and again from 132-135CE. After the Jews were defeated, the Romans changed the name of the region from Judea/Israel to Palaestina to punish the Jewish nation for their unsuccessful rebellion. The claim that "Palestinians" fought the Romans is historically inaccurate, as "Palestinians/Palestine" did not yet exist.
