Fatah official in Lebanon calls on Palestinian factions to unite and says “Palestine is a bride and its dowry is the blood”

Headline: “Fatah Movement, Head of Information Muhammad Al-Biqa’i: We welcome the Palestinian reconciliation [between Fatah and Hamas], and the unity is a source of strength”
“Head of Information of the Tyre [Lebanon] Fatah branch [in Lebanon], and head of the People’s Committee in Al-Baysarieh and Adlun in southern [Lebanon], Muhammad Al-Biqa’i Abu Adel called… to stand together behind the Palestinian intifada (i.e., Palestinian wave of violence, 2015-2016) and the Palestinian popular uprising in Jerusalem, in which Martyrs (Shahids) are falling daily in defense of the Arab and Islamic nation’s honor.
He stated: ‘We, as Palestinian factions, need to reach the level of sacrifices and blood being sacrificed by our people, and the national unity is one of the important factors in the success of the intifada. The first Palestinian Intifada (i.e., Palestinian wave of violence and terror against Israel, 1987-1993), which was engineered by Martyr (Shahid) Abu Jihad Al-Khalil (i.e., Khalil Al-Wazir), succeeded because of the Palestinian unity.’ Muhammad Al-Biqa’i concluded by saying: From the refugee camps in Lebanon, we bless and praise our people carrying out intifada in Jerusalem, bow to the power of the Martyrs’ blood, and say: Palestine is a bride and its dowry is the blood. We sow our bodies in the ground, and the harvest is approaching, and it is the victory and liberation.”

Abu Jihad (Khalil Al-Wazir) was a founder of Fatah and deputy to Yasser Arafat. He headed the PLO terror organization's military wing and also planned many deadly Fatah terror attacks. These attacks, which killed a total of 125 Israelis, included the most lethal in Israeli history - the hijacking of a bus and killing of 37 civilians, 12 of them children.
