Fatah official calls terrorist leaders “Martyrs… [who] became symbols that our entire Palestinian nation is proud of” and for general intifada against Israel

“The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine held a mass rally on the anniversary of the death as a Martyr (Shahid) of its leaders and its Central Committee members Omar Al-Qassem, Khaled Nazzal, and Bahij Al-Majdhub, with wide attendance by the leaders of the national activity factions, representatives of the political forces and the popular organizations, families of the Martyrs (Shahids) and the prisoners, and hundreds of members of the Democratic Front and its supporters. Fatah Central Committee member Abbas Zaki gave a speech on behalf of the national forces and factions, and raised the memory of the deaths as Martyrs of the three commanders, whose giving to their homeland was without limits and [who] became symbols that our entire Palestinian nation is proud of, and not only the Democratic Front fighters...
