This is a path on which Martyrs died; from Yasser Arafat to Abu Ali Mustafa (i.e., secretary-general of the terror organization PFLP), great Martyrs have followed the path and believed they did the right thing. Therefore we mention them after their death, and my children, their children, your children, my grandchildren, and your grandchildren will continue to mention them, because they did the right thing and chose correctly.”

District Governor of Ramallah glorifies terrorist “Martyrs” who are “executed” daily by Israel, lays wreath at monument for Savoy terrorists

“Yesterday [Aug. 24, 2017] activists – led by leaders and senior officials - launched the activities of the National Day for Returning the Palestinian and Arab Martyrs’ (Shahids’) Bodies that will take place next Sunday, Aug. 27 [2017] next to the monument for the Martyrs of the Savoy operation (i.e., terror attack, 11 murdered) in Ramallah.
The activities began with a visit to the monument and the placing of flower bouquets, with the participation of District Governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh Laila Ghannam, PLO Executive Committee member Saleh Rafat, the director of the Jerusalem Center for Legal Aid, and Martyrs’ families…
In her speech during the event, District Governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh [Laila Ghannam] linked the occupation to the continued holding of the bodies. She said: ‘The existence of the Israeli occupation means that there will continue to be more Martyrs whose bodies will be held in the occupation’s cemeteries and [morgue] refrigerators. This matter needs to end through the end of the occupation, which executes our sons and daughters daily and holds their bodies.’ … She continued: ‘It is the right of [the Martyrs’] relatives to identify them and that their sons be returned to them, despite of the fact that it does not matter where they are buried – their souls have ascended to Heaven and have been honored by the Lord of the Universe.’”

A picture included in the article shows a sign on which is written: “The holding of the Martyrs’ bodies is a crime that harms human dignity.”

Palestinian psychologist: Female terrorist hijackers and murderers carried out “wonderful acts of heroism”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Aug. 4, 2017

Psychologist Jultan Hijazi: "After 1967, the role of women evolved from an institutional stage to a stage of struggle and self-sacrifice. We saw many examples of this, such as Laila Khaled (i.e., participated in 2 plane hijackings), Dalal Mughrabi (i.e., led murder of 37), and Fatima Barnawi (i.e., placed bomb in cinema) who was the first female Palestinian prisoner. These women, through their operations, recorded wonderful acts of heroism that the generations still see as an example... The women also had a role in the Al-Aqsa Intifada in 2015 (i.e., terror wave, 2015-2016), and we saw how women attacked the Israeli soldiers at checkpoints in stabbing operations... I want to mention the mother of Martyr Muhammad Farahat (i.e., murdered 5), a Martyr from Gaza. In 2002, I think, she led him to the gate of the Israeli settlement where he carried out a military operation and killed several soldiers (sic., murdered 5 students)... As a mother, I am incapable of doing what she did, but she constitutes an example for the struggle, and she succeeded in strengthening the national values... Women carry out a large role in the children's psychological preparation."

PA daily: “Jerusalem won,” when Israel removed metal detectors at Temple Mount, “thanks to the blood of those who died as Martyrs”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 28, 2017
Headline: “Jerusalem won”
“The occupation did not make do with closing the Al-Aqsa Mosque and attacking its gates, but also carried out acts of defacing and theft of historical manuscripts, sweeping away soil from around the Al-Aqsa Mosque, uprooting trees, and removing ancient stones from the Lion’s Gate and the alleys of the Old City [of Jerusalem], and it also allowed extremist settlers to invade the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque plazas (sic., Israel temporarily closed the Temple Mount following a terror attack there and reopened it with security measures; see note below).
However, thanks to the blood of those who died as Martyrs (Shahids), were wounded, arrested, beaten, and dragged on the ground and in the alleys of Jerusalem; thanks to the throats of those who opposed and remained until the light of morning; thanks to those who withstood the sounds of the bullets, the ambulances, the shouts, and the curses; and thanks to those who distributed food and water to the worshippers and those awaiting victory, Jerusalem won.”

The delegation laid additional wreaths of flowers on the monument in memory of Martyr (Shahid) Abu Sukkar at the entrance to his village, Turmus Ayya, which is north of Ramallah... On July 5, 1975, he blew up a refrigerator full of explosives in Zion Square in Jerusalem, which caused the death of 13 (sic., 15) Israelis and the injury of an additional 78... Abu Sukkar was a rare figure. He lived a fruitful and rich life, bearing the [Palestinian] cause and carrying out a mission. He made a history full of acts of heroism and important activity, suffering and difficulties, modesty and humility. He left a rich legacy of giving and sacrifice. The revolution loved him and his people loved him, and the land took him into its embrace. Preacher at Al-Aqsa Mosque, following terror attack there, glorifies Martyrdom, but suggests Jews\Israel is using the terror attack to take over the Mosque
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 14, 2017
Video of Sheikh Khaled Al-Mughrabi in his twice weekly lesson at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, referring to the terrorist attack that took place at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem on July 14, 2017, in which 2 Israeli border policemen were murdered

Sheikh Khaled Al-Mughrabi: "Let us return to what happened today (July 14, 2017). First of all, my brothers, we do not want anyone to criticize us. We view every person that defends the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the religion of Islam as a person that has abandoned his world for Allah, and view him as one of the righteous, the Martyrs (Shahids), and the God-fearing whose actions are acceptable in the eyes of Allah – but we say that it is possible that the supporters of Satan used him to achieve their goals… The police station – I remember this from when I was a child – is a place where a Jew was once killed. What did they do? They took over a whole building because a Jew was killed there. According to their customs, everywhere that [a Jew] was killed it is their right to place a memorial monument to the killed. This is something we know, and I am sure that everyone knows it, and it cannot be that anybody that wants to protect the Al-Aqsa Mosque would put the Al-Aqsa Mosque in this dangerous situation unless, as we said, they are using their tricks to draw this person into the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and that is what happened in our opinion."
