Cleric on PA TV: Suicide bombers get double the reward from Allah

Sheikh Imad Hamato, Professor of Quranic Studies and PA cleric, during his weekly PA TV show teaching Islam: "A good friend of the Prophet Muhammad was preparing a bow and arrow when his own sword struck him and killed him. It's like the conflict today! One who exploded with a bomb - people talk about whether or not he's a Shahid. Answered Prophet Muhammad: 'He died in an attempt to be a holy warrior and his reward for that was doubled.'" Hamato was appointed by PA Chairman Abbas in October 2016 as dean of the Al-Azhar institutes, a school system that prepares students for studies at the Al-Azhar University in Gaza.
