Official PA TV praises female terrorists for “actively participating in armed activity”

Official PA TV program Good Morning Jerusalem, on “pioneering female activists in Jerusalem and Palestine”

Official PA TV reporter: "The year 1967 served as an incentive for her [the Palestinian woman] and they actively participated in the armed activity. They carried out several quality operations (i.e., terror attacks) against the Israeli occupation's [military] bases, after the fighter Laila Khaled hijacked an American plane and flew in it over the skies of Tel Aviv and Haifa, where she was born. After a year, she tried again to hijack another plane belonging to the Israeli company EL AL. In addition, they carried out operations exploding and attacking the enemy's bases, in which Martyr Shadia Abu Ghazaleh (i.e., PFLP terrorist and bomb maker) died, thus becoming the first female Palestinian Martyr (Shahida) after the defeat in 1967. The Bride of the Sea, Dalal Mughrabi (i.e., terrorist who led killing of 37), was the first female officer, and commander of the Kamal Adwan operation. She led 11 fighters, and caused the death of 37 Israelis, in addition to dozens of injured, and there were many like this. Wafa Idris (i.e., suicide bomber, killed 1), the first Martyr of the Al-Aqsa Intifada (i.e., PA terror campaign, 2000-2005), after she carried out an operation at the Jaffa Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem. Their struggle continued in the Second Intifada and until the present popular uprising (i.e., Palestinian wave of terror attacks 2015-2016), in which we see them [the women] in the first ranks of the Al-Aqsa Mosque's defense against the settlers' invasions, and with her delicate fingers she holds rocks and throws them at those stealing her land."

Laila Khaled - PFLP terrorist who participated in the hijacking of TWA flight 840 on Aug. 29, 1969 from Rome to Athens and the hijacking of El Al flight 219 on Sept. 6, 1970 from Amsterdam to New York. The second hijacking was averted by the pilot and security personnel on board. They shot Khaled’s accomplice, Patrick Argüello, who had killed one of the flight attendants. Khaled was overpowered and the plane landed in London where Khaled was handed over and held by British police until she was exchanged on Oct. 1, 1970 with hostages held by the PFLP.

Shadia Abu Ghazaleh was active in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terror organization and was involved in many attacks against Israel. While she was preparing a bomb for an attack in Tel Aviv in 1968, it accidentally detonated and killed her.

Dalal Mughrabi led the most lethal terror attack in Israel’s history, known as the Coastal Road massacre, in 1978, when she and other Fatah terrorists hijacked a bus on Israel's Coastal Highway, killing 37 civilians, 12 of them children, and wounding over 70. Palestinians refer to the attack as the “Kamal Adwan operation.”

Wafa Idris – The first Palestinian female suicide bomber. Belonging to Fatah, she blew herself up on Jaffa Road in central Jerusalem on Jan. 27, 2002, killing 1 and wounding over 100. As a volunteer for the Palestinian Red Crescent she was able to bypass Israeli security and enter Jerusalem in a Palestinian ambulance.

The PA considers any presence of Jews on the Temple Mount an "invasion." However, all visitors are subject to rigorous checks by Israeli security personnel before being granted access to the Temple Mount.
