Demonization of Jews/Israelis
Jews/Israelis are evil
Demonization of Jews/Israelis
Since the Palestinian Authority was established it has systematically indoctrinated young and old to hate Israelis and Jews. Using media, education, and cultural structures that it controls, the PA has actively promoted religious hatred, demonization, conspiracy libels, etc. These are packaged to present Israelis and Jews as endangering Palestinians, Arabs, and all humanity. This ongoing campaign has so successfully instilled hatred that fighting, murder and even suicide terror against Israelis and Jews are seen by the majority of Palestinians as justified self-defense and as Allah’s will. The PA presents Jews as possessing inherently evil traits. Jews are said to be treacherous, corrupt, deceitful and unfaithful by nature. These Jewish “attributes” and traditions are presented as the unchangeable nature of Jews. Forgeries and fiction masquerading as history are used to document and support the libel that Judaism is in essence racist and evil. Jews are said to be planning and executing heinous crimes, including burning Palestinians in ovens, murder, using prisoners for Nazi-like experiments, and more. If unchecked, these crimes constitute a mortal danger, not only to all Muslims and Arabs but to all of humanity.

The PA assigns responsibility to the Jews for all the problems in the world: Wars, conflicts and civil wars are all said to be triggered by Jews. Indeed, the oppression suffered by Jews throughout history is presented as the legitimate response of nations seeking revenge for the injury caused them by the Jews living among them. The creation of the State of Israel is said to have been a European plot, in order to be rid of their Jews and save Europe from the evil of Jewish presence in their countries.

The following are examples of Palestinian demonization:

Muslim man: "Prophet [Muhammad] agreed [that the Jews] would leave with their possessions, but not their weapons, so they would not fight with the [weapons] again."
Muslim boy: "So we drove them out without fighting. What a great victory...Praise and thanks to Allah..."
Satan 1: "We (i.e., Jews and satans) suffered a defeat from one of the soldiers of Allah, who we have no power over."
Satan 2: "What sort of soldier was it, my lord? I didn’t see any fighting in this raid."
Satan 1: "It was ‘fear’ (i.e., Allah's soldier) that defeated the Jews and caused them to leave their lands [in Medina] in shame and disgrace, and it's what prevented me from going down to make them fight... Yes, satan. Don’t you see that my hands are shaking [from ‘fear’]? ..."
Muslim man: "The Jews left while playing flutes and drums. How strange!"
Muslim boy: "They did not want to show their frustration over the defeat, [and behaved] as if they had won. May Allah humiliate them."

Abbas retracts water poisoning libel, "emphasizes that he did not intend to harm Judaism or its believers in general... [but] condemns the illegal actions and steps of [Israeli] and its settlers against the Palestinian people"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, June 25, 2016
Headline: "[PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas]: Palestine is the cradle of the three monotheistic religions, and we are not among those who harm any one of them"
"[PA] President Mahmoud Abbas rejected the Israeli accusations and declarations directed against him and against the Palestinian people, according to which he harmed Judaism, and condemned accusations against him of Antisemitism.
After it became clear that the reports that were published in many media outlets about the declarations of a rabbi regarding the poisoning of Palestinian wells were baseless, President Abbas - out of the deep respect he has for all religions, including Judaism - emphasizes that he did not intend to harm Judaism or its believers in general. However, at the same time he condemns the illegal actions and steps of the occupation authorities (i.e., Israel) and its settlers against the Palestinian people, including the incitement against him and against his rights."

Abbas repeats libel: Israeli rabbis demanded government poison water to kill the Palestinians
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, June 23, 2016

Official PA TV, special broadcast, PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ speech to the EU Parliament

PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas: “There is an issue that the Israelis are bringing up, and that is the issue of incitement. Despite the fact that the Israeli incitement does not stop, and the actions of the occupation (i.e., Israel) and the settlers do not stop… Just a week ago, some rabbis rose up in Israel and explicitly announced and demanded of their government that it poison the water in order to kill the Palestinians. Is this not clear incitement? Is this not clear incitement, whose goal is to carry out a mass murder of Palestinians? We are against incitement!”

The libel that rabbis called to poison the Palestinians’ water, which had been voiced by the PA Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the PLO in the days prior to Abbas’ speech, did not appear in the written version of Abbas’ speech, which was publicized in the official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, June 24, 2016. Apparently Abbas decided to add it in at the last moment.

The [PA] Foreign Ministry said yesterday [June 19, 2016] in a statement that the radical Netanyahu [Israeli] government is continuing its unlimited war against the existence of the Palestinian man in his homeland... We stand today before this serious crime, which is not the first of its kind, against the lives of all the Palestinians, through the poisoning of the various water sources. Arab League condemns 'rabbinical' ruling calling on Jews to poison Palestinian water sources
Source: WAFA, official PA news agency, June 20, 2016
Headline: “The Arab League condemns the call of the rabbis to poison Palestinian drinking water”
“The Arab League strongly condemned the call of the chairman of the Council of Settlement Rabbis, Rabbi Shlomo Melamed (No such rabbi or body exists, see note, Ed.), which gives the settlers permission to poison the drinking water that sustains the Palestinian towns and villages throughout the occupied West Bank. The [Arab League] statement… placed full responsibility on Israel (the occupying force) [parentheses in source] for the ramifications of these religious rulings, which expose the Israeli policy of creating facts on the ground. This is in the shadow of the silence of the international community and its ignoring of the Israeli violations, which are committed each day against the Palestinians: daily executions, home demolitions, clearing and expropriating land, arrests and other serious violations.”

PA Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls Israel's "poisoning" wells "a crime against humanity"
Source: PA Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, June 19, 2016
PMW note: The PLO accused Jews in the West Bank of poisoning Palestinian water sources, based on the rulings"of a Rabbi Shlomo Melamed, chairman of  the Council of Settlement Rabbis. No such rabbi or body exists. The PA Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to the accusations:
"This call by Rabbi Mlmad is considered a crime against humanity because it targets humans, animals, corps and all forms of life in the occupied Palestinian territory.
The ministry held the Israeli government full responsibility of the consequences of such calls. It demanded the arrest of the Rabbi for inciting murder and the enforcement of necessary procedures to protect Palestinians from individuals who might attempt to poison water sources.
What is the international community waiting for to interfere; the death of thousands of Palestinians of thirst? To meet such incident with silence and ignore the war Israel is waging against Palestinians is a cause of shame for the international community."

PA TV teacher of Islam: “The Jews are a people of lies. Lies, distortion of the truth, and aversion to the truth flow in their blood”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, June 15, 2016

Imad Hamato, Professor of Quranic Studies, University of Palestine, Gaza on official PA TV program Allah’s Messenger Muhammad : “Abdullah ibn Salam, a Jewish rabbi, went to Prophet [Muhammad]... and converted to Islam... [Abdullah] hid behind a curtain, and [Muhammad] asked [the Jews]: 'What do you say about Abdullah ibn Salam?' They said: 'He is the most important and son of the most important among us. He is our leader, son of our leader.' [Muhammad] said: 'And if you heard that he had converted to Islam?' They said: 'God forbid that he would convert to Islam.' Abdullah ibn Salam came out to them and said: 'O Jews… I testify that there is no God other than Allah and Muhammad is Allah’s messenger' (i.e., Islam’s declaration of faith). Within seconds, they [the Jews] started to say: 'He is the most foolish among us, a son of the most foolish among us, the greatest liar among us, and the son of a liar.' Seconds ago he was 'the most important and son of the most important among us. Our leader - son of our leader.' The Jews are a people of lies.
Lies, distortion of the truth, and aversion to the truth flow in their blood… The Jews learned by heart the poems that fed the wars [between the Arab tribes in Medina before Islam]. Some [Jews] supported the Aws tribe and some the Khazraj tribe. This is always the practice of the Jews. They create wars.”

“The Fatah Movement considered the Israeli occupation state being made chairman of the UN Legal Committee a ‘blow to international law and a grave precedent that grants it justification to continue its crime and racism…’ Fatah Spokesman Osama Al-Qawasmi said in a press release: ‘The occupation state (i.e., Israel) is at the top of the list of states that do not respect international law, and it even strives to violate it daily with its crimes and racist activity against our people.’ He wondered: ‘How can a state that occupies the state of Palestine and conducts the most racist and criminal policy – killing, arrests, demolition of homes, theft of lands, and expulsion of civilians… - [how can it] stand at the head of the UN Legal Committee, one of whose missions is supervision of the implementation of international law.’ Fatah also demanded that the world’s nations that are members of the UN organization force the occupation state [to follow] international law and respect human rights in Palestine, before it stands at the head of the UN Legal Committee. In this way there will be a minimal measure of credibility.”

Abbas' advisor: Jews “are thieves who stole the land… we have been here for 5,000 years”

Mahmoud Abbas' advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs, Mahmoud Al-Habbash: "They [the Jews] claim that there was a Temple here. Those are unfounded claims, myths, and rumors. However, the problem between us and them is not a problem of religious or historical narrative. The problem is that they are thieves. The problem is that they are thieves who stole the land, and who want to steal the history, but history cannot change and cannot be falsified. The facts bear witness to it. We have been here for the last 5,000 years, and have not left this land. We have not left this land. Our forefathers are the monotheist Canaanites and Jebusites. They are the ones who built Jerusalem, before Abraham was even here."

There never was an ancient Palestinian-Arab nation. Arabs first arrived in the land of Israel/Judea with the Muslim invasion in 637 CE.
