Fatah accompanies slain terrorists to their “weddings,” justifies terror attacks as legitimate responses to Israeli actions, and calls on Palestinians to “escalate the confrontation”

Posted text: “Press release from the Fatah Movement – the occupied West Bank
The Palestinian West Bank branches of the Fatah Movement accompany to the weddings (i.e., Martyr's funeral is considered wedding to the 72 Virgins in Paradise in Islam) our heroic Martyrs (Shahids) who were shot and killed by the Israeli occupation in the unending battle defending our people’s rights (apparently refers to terrorist murderers Saleh Barghouti and Ashraf Na’alwa who were killed resisting arrest; see notes below –Ed.). The movement also warns the occupation army and the settlers against continuing the series of murders and attacks, which will only cause our people to be more determined and firmer in the confrontation.
The ongoing escalation of the occupation and its settler gangs, the incessant attacks on our villages, towns, cities, and refugee camps, and the settlers’ thuggery against our peaceful civilians will not bring them security or stability. The targeting of our people in all of the districts by escalating the attacks, assassinations, and arrests – and the latest example of this is the threats and incitement to murder His Honor [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas – has met with a Palestinian response (apparently refers to the lethal terror attack at Givat Assaf just prior to the post; see note below –Ed.), which emphasizes that we will not leave our land… and that our people will continue the struggle and resistance until the occupier and its settlers leave our land.
We call on the members of the Palestinian people to be completely alert, to escalate the confrontation, and to activate the defense committees to defend our villages…
We call on the masses of our people to escalate the confrontation tomorrow, Friday [Dec. 14, 2018], throughout the West Bank, out of loyalty to the Martyrs.”
