Libels
Libel: Israel spreads AIDS and drugs
Libels
Since the Palestinian Authority was established it has systematically indoctrinated young and old to hate Israelis and Jews. Using media, education, and cultural structures that it controls, the PA has actively promoted religious hatred, demonization, conspiracy libels, etc. These are packaged to present Israelis and Jews as endangering Palestinians, Arabs, and all humanity. This ongoing campaign has so successfully instilled hatred that fighting, murder and even suicide terror against Israelis and Jews are seen by the majority of Palestinians as justified self-defense and as Allah’s will.

Throughout history bogus conspiracy accusations have been used to incite hatred, violence, and mass murder. The myriad conspiracy libels concerning Israel, Israelis and Jews are an integral part of the Palestinian Authority’s ongoing hate promotion. PA libels claim that Israel conspires to infect Palestinians with AIDS, spread drug addiction, conspired and successfully murdered Arafat, and more. The PA’s goal has been to inculcate hatred to the degree that fighting and murdering Jews and Israelis will be glorified as heroic self-defense.

Israel seeks to “destroy the young” with drugs
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Dec. 30, 2013
“The Qalqilya Philanthropic Women’s Union for Social Development held a political conference on national education in cooperation with the Political and National Guidance [Authority] in the Qalqilya District…
Director of the Political Guidance [Authority] Khaled Al-Madani spoke about drugs and their connection to society’s values and to the occupation, since they [drugs] serve as a means of destroying the values and disabling the mind that connects a person to his homeland and turns him into an active member [of society]… He noted that this drug plague that destroys the minds of the youth must be fought, because the aim of the Zionist enemy is to destroy the young, deprive [them of] their [sense of] belonging to their homeland and destroy Palestinian values. He further said that it [the Zionist enemy] targets young people, destroying their determination to build and develop a homeland and to establish the Palestinian identity and turning them [the youth] into a destructive instrument that causes a person to lose his connection to his homeland and culture.”

In an address before the Fourth Islamic Conference of Ministers in Charge of Childhood that took place in Azerbaijan’s capital city of Baku, Al-Sharafi said that Israel is implementing a policy of ethnic cleansing in the Holy City, and is continuing its efforts to Judaize the city and to alter its historic Arab Islamic-Christian character… [Israel] continues to provoke the feelings of hundreds of millions of Muslims and Christians on a daily basis through its attempts to divide the Al-Aqsa Mosque between Muslims and Jews, to desecrate other sites holy to Christianity and Islam, and to refuse entry to millions of Palestinians [who want to visit] their holy city and their cultural, spiritual, and political capital. Al-Sharafi reviewed… [Israel’s] attempts to flood the city with social ills such as drugs, in addition to its impairing PA and civil attempts to deal with [troubled] children and families.”
Israel turned Jerusalem neighborhoods into “drug dens”
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Aug. 31, 2013
Op-ed by Alaa Hantash:
“I wasn’t surprised that five schools in occupied Jerusalem started teaching the Israeli curriculum in some of their classes. On the contrary, I even foresee that the situation will grow worse and that the number will grow to 50, because for a long time now there have been warnings about this step, which is a crime against humanity and not just against our people and its history. This curriculum falsifies history openly and in broad daylight, and works to destroy the Palestinian identity and bury it while still alive in our children’s minds, as it falsified the city’s features and imposed an alleged history on them before our very eyes and ears. We can do nothing but stick out our tongue to denounce and condemn, saying; ‘Jerusalem will remain Arab-Palestinian and you cannot detract from its Arabness!’
Over the past decades all of our Jerusalem strongholds have fallen, and not one remains resolute against the battle of Judaization, except for the education stronghold, and here it is starting to fall before our eyes.
Even the weapon of denunciation is left dumbfounded this time, and on all levels – despite the many authorities who are concerned about occupied Jerusalem, including their staffs and modest budgets, and who are supposed to be rallying [support from] the whole world against this crime, rather than [allowing] the world to sit idly by.
The occupation authorities turned several neighborhoods in Jerusalem into drug dens, and we said; ‘Our nation still remains resolute and maintains its principles!’ They altered the city’s features and its Arab nature, and we said; ‘Jerusalem’s identity will remain Arab!’ And in several years, when we ask where the Al-Aqsa Mosque is located, one of our children will say, ‘On the Temple Mount.’”

Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Jan. 18, 2013
The PA TV program Good Morning, Jerusalem hosted Ola Awad, President of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics.
Awad: We're talking about drugs, about drug use and addicts. We're talking about no less than 35,000 Palestinians from the Jerusalem district who use or are addicted to drugs. This inquiry was done in 2006, and there is an Israeli policy in this regard. Just as an example: When this inquiry was made, there were a few users, there were a few questions about these aspects. The users and the addicts said, 'Ultimately, I want to receive treatment.' But ultimately [the Israelis] consider someone who uses or is addicted to drugs as disabled, and they pay him a certain amount of money every month because of his disability. He's out of work, and at the end of the month he goes and gets this injection so that in the end he'll receive his monthly allowance and be considered disabled. This policy is clear Judaization of Jerusalemites in a direct manner."
