Yassin Abu Al-Qur’a – Palestinian terrorist who stabbed and critically wounded an Israeli security guard outside Jerusalem’s Central Bus Station on Dec. 10, 2017. Al-Qur’a was arrested while trying to flee the scene.

According to the Israeli Security Agency, Al-Qur’a’s will was inspired by a verse calling for Martyrdom that appears in his PA schoolbook:

Headline: “Deciphering the stabbing attack at Jerusalem Central Station and submitting an indictment”
“The ban on publication has been lifted, an indictment has been submitted, and currently it is permitted to publish details of the investigation of the stabbing attack in Jerusalem

On Dec. 10, 2017, a stabbing attack was committed at Jerusalem Central Station, which caused the serious wounding of a security guard of the station.
The suspect in committing the attack, Yassin Abu Al-Qur’a – born in 1993, resident of the village Wadi Fari’a adjacent to Nablus – was in Israel illegally while exploiting an entry permit to the Seam Zone, which was issued to him so he could pass through the separation fence for agricultural purposes.
During the investigation it came up that the attack was planned and committed by the attacker without additional people involved. Behind the act was, among other things, the fact that he was influenced by online incitement following [US President Donald Trump’s] declaration of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
It also came up in the investigation by the Israeli Security Agency and police that the suspect wrote a will before committing the attack, which he took from a Martyrs’ quote found in the schoolbooks of the schools in the Palestinian Authority.
This attack emphasizes the serious incitement to which the Palestinians in Judea and Samaria (i.e., the West Bank) are exposed, and the influence of the material taught in the PA schools, as a factor that spurs and inspires terror attacks against Israelis.
Today an indictment was submitted against Abu Al-Qur’a by the Jerusalem District Attorney’s Office.
