Since the Palestinian Authority was established it has systematically indoctrinated young and old to hate Israelis and Jews. Using media, education, and cultural structures that it controls, the PA has actively promoted religious hatred, demonization, conspiracy libels, etc. These are packaged to present Israelis and Jews as endangering Palestinians, Arabs, and all humanity. This ongoing campaign has so successfully instilled hatred that fighting, murder and even suicide terror against Israelis and Jews are seen by the majority of Palestinians as justified self-defense and as Allah’s will.
Throughout history bogus conspiracy accusations have been used to incite hatred, violence, and mass murder. The myriad conspiracy libels concerning Israel, Israelis and Jews are an integral part of the Palestinian Authority’s ongoing hate promotion. PA libels claim that Israel conspires to infect Palestinians with AIDS, spread drug addiction, conspired and successfully murdered Arafat, and more. The PA’s goal has been to inculcate hatred to the degree that fighting and murdering Jews and Israelis will be glorified as heroic self-defense. |

"Ramallah and El-Bireh District Governor Laila Ghannam said that Israel's holding the bodies of Martyrs is a mark of shame on the forehead of the entire world. She noted that the occupation is not satisfied with killing them, but goes further and prevents family members from looking at [the bodies] for the last time and from holding burial ceremonies… Ghannam added yesterday, while taking leave of the bodies of Martyrs Ramzi Shahin and Anis Rafiq Khalil… that the whole world should intervene immediately to put an end to our people's suffering and to stop the Israeli crime and the occupation's actions… She noted that these giants (i.e., the terrorists) were not mere numbers, for they are symbols of the Palestinian struggle, their names and their struggle a badge of honor on the chest of every respectable free person in the world. Ghannam said that by holding the bodies of our Martyrs, the occupation is trying to hide its crimes and the traces of them [the crimes]. She stated that research and several studies have proven that the occupation steals the Martyrs' organs, while the world does not lift a finger in face of all these violations."
Note: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida reported on Aug. 13, 2012 that Ramzi Shahin and Anis Rafiq Khalil were part of a four-member Fedayin squad that was intercepted by the Israeli army after having crossed the border from Egypt in November of 1991. Ramzi Shahin and Anis Rafiq Khalil were killed in the fire-fight that ensued.
Israel holds the bodies of enemy soldiers and members of terrorist organizations at the Cemeteries for Enemy Casualties. The graves have markers instead of gravestones. The burial is temporary, with the assumption that the bodies will be returned to their countries in the future.

This is the 11th part in the 'Am I Not a Person?' series, which deals with different aspects of the suffering caused by the Israeli occupation… The book talks about medical experiments which are conducted in Israeli hospitals on sick Palestinians, including children, old people, and the mentally ill, without the consent of the patients or of their legal guardians, and with no consideration for the international conventions regulating medical experiments on the ill. This is in addition to the experiments which the occupation carries out using dangerous experimental medications on prisoners in its prisons, and in addition to the theft of organs from dead Palestinians in order to treat Jewish patients, including soldiers in the occupation army."

“[Issa Karake, Minister of Prisoners’ Affairs] said: ‘We are meeting today while hundreds of bodies of Shahids (Martyrs) of our people are imprisoned by the occupation government in the cemeteries with secret numbers. He noted that Israel is punishing the mothers. It holds the bodies as though it is afraid of their souls. It does not wish for them to have names, graves, or funerals worthy of their sacrifice. He emphasized that the occupation state fears discovery of its crime of stealing organs of the Shahids and trading in them, as acknowledged by its senior personnel.”
Note: The only case in Israel’s history is not current. An Israeli investigative journalist exposed in 2001 that from the years 1988 to 2000, doctors under chief pathologist at the Abu Kabir Institute of Forensic Medicine at times took body parts without permission from relatives, for research and transplants of skin and corneas. Most body parts were taken from Israeli Jews, but the theft also included body parts from Israeli Arabs, Israeli soldiers and Palestinian terrorists. There has been no documented case since then. |

PA TV News item on the return of the body of terrorist Mashour Al-Arouri, which had been held by Israel for 35 years:
Reporter: “The Israeli occupation once again proves its ability to invent methods of torture and terror against residents by means of an ongoing series of crimes, from when the occupation retained the bodies of the Shahids (Martyrs) and stole their organs.”
Note: Mashour Al-Arouri was a member of the DFLP. In 1976 he infiltrated Israel from Jordan as part of an armed unit. They encountered IDF forces and were killed in the confrontation. He was buried in the cemetery for enemy combatants, and his body was returned to the PA in August 2010, in the wake of an appeal to the Israel Supreme Court.

"Issa Karake, Minister of Prisoners' Affairs, emphasized the need to raise public Palestinian awareness concerning examination of the bodies of Shahids (Martyrs) and agreement to their autopsies, in order to halt the violations of the Shahids and their pure bodies. He announced that his ministry had established a committee of lawyers, which would deal with all the Israeli violations, including theft of the Shahids' organs and the holding of their bodies in cemeteries for enemy casualties. He noted that there has been a rise in the phenomenon of prisoners sick with cancer in the occupation's prisons.
This [announcement was made] during Minister Karake's meeting with [Swedish journalist] Donald Boström yesterday at the Ministry of Prisoners' Affairs in Ramallah. The meeting dealt with the subject of Shahids' bodies, theft of Shahids' organs, and field executions of prisoners carried out by the occupation authorities, since the Swedish journalist Donald Boström had previously raised the subject of theft of the organs of Palestinian Shahids…
