Hamas TV: Every Muslim mother "must nurse her children on hatred of the sons of Zion"
Source: Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas), Aug. 1, 2014

Tareq Al-Suwaidan, a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Kuwait: "Without a doubt, the blood being spilled [in Gaza] is dear. But the equation is: 'Those killed from our side are in Paradise, and those killed from their side in Hell.' (Hadith)
We are not afraid of Martyrdom. Not long ago, you cried out loud: 'Death for Allah is our most exalted wish!' (Muslim Brotherhood slogan) You received the death you wanted. We have no problem with death. We are not like the children of Israel: 'And you will surely find them the most greedy of people for life.' (Quran) Whereas we yearn for death and Martyrdom... Every mother - especially the mothers in Palestine, but every mother in the [Islamic] Nation, not just Palestine - must nurse her children on hatred of the sons of Zion. We hate them and they are our enemies. We will plant this in their [our children’s] souls, so that a new generation will grow among us, which will erase them from the face of the earth."

Fatah student movement: "All members are potential Martyrs for our beloved Palestine"
Source: Facebook, Fatah - The Main Page, July 23, 2014

"Summary of the statement of Fatah's Shabiba [student] movement in the West Bank:
1. To Fatah Shabiba members in all areas: More resistance and escalation [is required] against the occupation everywhere. Let's turn the land into hell for the enemy and announce it so clearly that it splits the sky: Resist, boycott, move forward, rise up - for the land is forbidden for the enemy, and all Shabiba members are potential Martyrs (Shahids) for our beloved Palestine.
2. To the masses of our proud Palestinian people: More national unity [is required], because unity is the condition for victory. Let each one of us fight in his own field, for each of us has a function, and every [form of] resistance has a role in liberation. Boycott, confront, declare revolution! This is our land. We will either live on it in dignity, or be gathered into the bosom of its beloved earth as Martyrs...
Start by yourself, come to the aid of your people [by]
- Destroying settlers' property
- Blocking settlement roads: stones, nails, tinder, tires
- Destroying settlement power, water and telephone lines
- Breaking the occupation's security cameras and attacking military observation posts
- Destroying the [separation] wall and cutting the barbed wire fences
- Israeli products are bullets with which it [Israel] kills your people
- Chase the settlers on your land at places of contact"
Kids on Hamas TV: "We want to die as Martyrs"
Source: Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas), May 8, 2014

Hamas TV reporter:
For most of these children, resistance has become a dream... When you speak to them, you’re surprised by the strength and eloquence of their words.
Boy 1: We love the resistance. We want to die as Martyrs. Long live the Martyrs...
Boy 2: The Israeli occupation understands only resistance. We always love the resistance, to liberate our nation Palestine. And among us, the Martyrs are loved. Applause for the Martyrs...
Reporter: The atmosphere in the refugee camp is full of the spirit of resistance and of those who inscribed its stories of heroism. Most of the walls show you the images of the Martyrs...
Boy 3: The resistance, the armed resistance is what brings results in the Jenin refugee camp... The Jenin refugee camp continues to educate its children to resist, and passes on the flag to them, from generation to generation. They yearn for one of the two best outcomes – the return to their occupied lands, or Martyrdom.

PA-associated youth magazine glorifies death: "If you love death... then you're a Palestinian"
Source: Zayzafuna magazine, Sept. 1, 2013
PA-associated educational youth magazine Zayzafuna published for the third time a poem glorifying Martyrdom death for Allah - Shahada:
"If you know that you were born with a death sentence, and if you go to your death without caring - then you're a Palestinian!
If your song is the song of Martyrdom (Shahada), and death, for you, is birth - then you're a Palestinian!
If you love death, and you say the Shahada [declaration] (i.e., the Islamic creed: "There is no God but Allah, Muhammad is Allah's messenger.") aloud - then you're a Palestinian!
If you've ever felt that you're an exploding body and that your soul will long one day to be a knight for the homeland - then you're a Palestinian!
If the stone is your weapon against oppression, and if those who hate [you] criticize your struggle - then you're a Palestinian!
If you have watered the tree of the homeland with your free blood, with love, and have offered the remnants of your bodily parts as a bridge for those who are yet to come - then you're a Palestinian!
If you have shattered the chains, and carried the key to the house from which [your] grandparents were expelled - then you're a Palestinian!
If your wedding (i.e., a Martyr's death and funeral in Islamic tradition are a wedding to the 72 Maidens of Paradise) was amidst a hail of bullets between the shoulders of friends [who carried your body], against the sound of tears mingled with joy and the searing pain of separation - then you're a Palestinian, and you're full of pride at being a Palestinian."

Martyrdom-death for Palestinian youth glorified on PA TV News
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Nov. 23, 2012
PA TV News reports on a demonstration in Ramallah protesting Israel’s security fence and the killing of Rushdi Al-Tamimi. Rushdi Al-Tamimi was shot during a violent demonstration of young Palestinians throwing rocks at Israeli soldiers. He later died of his wounds. Al-Tamimi’s brother was at the protest, and said:
“We are grateful to Allah for Shahada (Martyrdom death for Allah). All Palestine and its young people are potential Martyrs (Shahids).”
PA daily sports columnist glorifies Martyrdom death for children
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 19, 2012
In response to Hamas' ongoing rocket fire against Israel, on Nov. 14, 2012, Israel launched an aerial offensive aimed at crippling the terrorist infrastructure in Gaza. PA daily sports columnist Bader Maki demonizes Israel and glorifies Martyrdom for children in the following open letter:
"My dear general [Michel Platini], you are currently the president of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), and the Hebrew entity [Israel] is part of this union. Are you satisfied, my brother Michel, that this entity kills our children in Gaza? ...
This cursed entity must be kicked out of this sports union that believes in justice and fair play. The blood of [the children] Ahmed Abu Daqqa and his friends will not have been spilled in vain only if national unity is achieved. We must achieve it to honor the souls of our Martyrs (Shahids), especially those of our children who dazzled the world with only stones and RPGs in their hands. The occupier knows them well from the Intifada and Beirut."

Jerusalem and "every inch" of land will be freed "by the blood of the youth" - girl recites poem on PA TV
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Sept. 8, 2012
Girl on PA TV program for youth recites a poem:
"They say I’m a terrorist, but I’m no terrorist
What can I do, Mother, they took my book away
They tied me up, blindfolded me and threw me in a tank
They threw me into a dark room under watch
They wouldn’t let me see you, Mother, and wouldn’t let me see my friends
I longed to go to school and I longed to have my games...
I swear by a child’s tears...
By the blood of the youth
Jerusalem will return to us...
We’ll free every inch from the foreigner's clutch."
Host: "Bravo, bravo, applause."

Mother places suicide belt on child, on Facebook page for Fatah in Lebanon
Source: Fatah's Facebook page, Sept. 3, 2012
"My mother dressed me in a strange belt (i.e., a suicide belt).
I asked her: 'What is this, mother?'
She said: 'I will put it on you and you will go to your death!'
I said to her: 'Mother, what have I done that you want me to die?'
She shed a tear that hurt my heart and said: 'The homeland needs you, son. Go and blow up the Sons of Zion.'
I said to her: 'Why me and not you?'
She said: 'I will stay in order to give birth to more children for the sake of Palestine.'
I kissed her hand and said to her: 'Keep it up, mother, for you and for Palestine I will kill the impure and the damned.'"

Song directs children to violence and Martyrdom-death
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Feb. 24, 2012

"Don't cry, Palestine, stand tall for your heroes. Let the cowards [Israel] see that your kids didn't surrender to fear in the midst of horror. Oh children of the stones, teach the sinners [Israel] that shooting doesn't scare you, that your dignity is preserved, and that death for the sake of the country is not terror.
Terror is the occupier and his helpers, not those who saw and tasted death but were not humiliated, and not the child who nurses fear and expulsion, yet surrenders not. He vows that when he grows up, he will follow the same path. Don't be sad, oh great nation, Allah is with you. Don't be sad with Allah's help."

The love in my heart for you is great

generation after generation,

Oh, my pure land, I shall saturate you with my blood
I shall live and die upon your green ground
Your ground satiates us, your goodness satisfies us
I shall redeem you with my life, oh my land
Your embrace warms us

Girl sings Intifada song about the "Martyr who loved death," PA TV host prefers song about life
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, July 25, 2011
Girl: "I am the voice of the Intifada, and no voice is louder than mine;
I am the last will of the Martyr
who loved death upon the soil of the homeland.
My voice refuses to be silent.
I am the sister of the one
who adorned herself and girded herself with death.
I am the voice of the stone and the tree, the bleeding wounded."

After interviewing other children, the host turned to the girl a second time and asked her to sing a different song:
PA TV host: "Bravo, our friend Bara'a; that was a beautiful song.
We want to hear a song full of life and vitality, because we want to live. We want a beautiful life, we want always to call for all that adorns our life. We want to forget about death for a little while and distance ourselves far from death."

The ceremony included beautiful performances... one of the most outstanding was a play from the story of Little Red Riding Hood, and another performance named 'The Martyr's (Shahid's) Wedding', delighted the audience by the role-play of the children, whose acting depicted the reality of roadblocks, children, occupation soldiers, and the children's death as Martyrs. This charm caused the audience to cry, as the children's performance was accompanied by the playing of nationalistic songs."

Poem by a girl in 8th grade, published in PLO magazine for youth, Zayzafuna:
“Look at Jerusalem and at the Dome of the Rock [Mosque] Whose moon is high in the sky
Raising its head [in pride] at its sons who have Died as Martyrs for its [the mosque’s] liberation There the mighty Jihad fighter died as a Martyr
And Jerusalem is proud of its heroes who defend it with stones. Oh Jerusalem, do not be sad, for your victory is near
With the song of birds up high
Asking its people to stone the enemy
Oh bride of time
Oh third holy place [to Islam] – we will redeem you with our life
Oh compass of the nation – do not be sad
For your victory is near, Allah willing
Victory, victory, victory, oh city of Jerusalem.”

"When we become Martyrs we'll go to Paradise.
Don't say we're young.

...
Without Palestine, what meaning is there to childhood?
Children, you performed the (religious) duty and Sunna (Islamic tradition):
There is no God but Allah, and the Shahid (Martyr) is Allah's beloved.
You have taught us the meaning of heroism.
...
Even if they were to give us this world and all of its treasures, no, it would not make us forget [Palestine]. Not at all.
It is my country and [I give] my blood for its sake."

You taught me the love of arms, so that I would be a knight, Allah willing. I will follow in your steps and fight the enemies on the battlefield. Every drop of blood that dripped from your pure body is worth dozens of bullets directed towards the enemies' chest. Tomorrow I will grow up, tomorrow I will avenge, and the battlefields will know who is the son of the Martyr, the commander, Ashraf Mushtaha.      “O heroes, Allah has promised you victory ... Do not talk yourselves into flight…Your enemies seek life while you seek death. They seek spoils to fill their empty stomachs while you seek a Garden [Paradise] as wide as are the heavens and the earth. Do not be anxious to meet them [enemies], for death is not bitter in the mouth of the believers. These drops of blood that gush from your bodies will be transformed tomorrow into blazing red meteors that will fall down upon the heads of your enemies."

Ghassan Zaqtan, PA journalist:
“We knew that they would do it, especially in Gaza, where a mother brushes her young son's hair at 7:00, so that he will be killed at 7:30, and where the children learn that death is preferable to life! We knew that they would do this, it was clear to us: with language overflowing with the rhetoric of death and the norms of killing, in the religious rulings [Fatwas] and in Friday and holiday sermons.”
