NJJN interview about PMW`s work

PMW’s goal is to uncover and expose to the general public and decision-makers around the world the activities, teachings, ideology, and goals of the Palestinian Authority. When we find hate and terror promotion, we expose it so it can be condemned and eliminated. When we find peace promotion, we expose that as well so it can be reinforced.

The British newspaper The Mail on Sunday reported in March that the PA was continuing to use British foreign aid money to pay terrorists’ salaries despite having promised to stop, prompting a UK government probe. Several weeks later, the watchdog group Palestinian Media Watch showed that the PA was using aid money from other countries as well.

PMW asks scouts to cancel Palestinian membership over terror promotion

“We would like to bring to your attention that the Palestinian Scout Association (PSA), which six months ago was accepted as a full member in the World Organization of the Scout Movement, is training its scout leaders to see a cold-blooded terrorist murderer as their role model,” Itamar Marcus, director of Palestinian Media Watch, wrote in an email to the World Scout Movement.

Scouts challenge PMW evidence of terror glorification by official Palestine chapter

Palestinian Media Watch, an Israeli group that monitors what it says is incitement in Palestinian media and society, rejected the scout movement's conclusions... In a letter to the movement, it said it had found overwhelming evidence that the two Palestinian scouting groups work closely with one another, including dozens of pictures identifying the same people as leaders of both organizations.

PMW evidence contradicts statements made by the world scout body

Palestinian Media Watch director Itamar Marcus demanded “concrete evidence” from the WOSM to prove that the course had nothing to do with the PSA. “Until we are given evidence otherwise, will assume the information on the PSA website is correct and that this is a PSA course,” Marcus wrote in a letter to Stephen Peck from the WOSM.

True, Palestinian leaders seldom make such statements in English. Yet the glorification of terrorists and the anti-Semitism that feature daily in official Palestinian media is readily available in English, online, thanks to the diligence of Palestinian Media Watch.
