Libels
Additional conspiracies
Libels
Since the Palestinian Authority was established it has systematically indoctrinated young and old to hate Israelis and Jews. Using media, education, and cultural structures that it controls, the PA has actively promoted religious hatred, demonization, conspiracy libels, etc. These are packaged to present Israelis and Jews as endangering Palestinians, Arabs, and all humanity. This ongoing campaign has so successfully instilled hatred that fighting, murder and even suicide terror against Israelis and Jews are seen by the majority of Palestinians as justified self-defense and as Allah’s will.

Throughout history bogus conspiracy accusations have been used to incite hatred, violence, and mass murder. The myriad conspiracy libels concerning Israel, Israelis and Jews are an integral part of the Palestinian Authority’s ongoing hate promotion. PA libels claim that Israel conspires to infect Palestinians with AIDS, spread drug addiction, conspired and successfully murdered Arafat, and more. The PA’s goal has been to inculcate hatred to the degree that fighting and murdering Jews and Israelis will be glorified as heroic self-defense.

PA Ministry of Foreign Affairs: "Netanyahu's government continues to light racist fires”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 28, 2016
Headline: “[PA] Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Netanyahu’s government continues to light racist fires”
“The [PA] Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: ‘Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the heads of his coalition took advantage of the current wave of fires in Israel to launch an offensive of statements and positions contaminated by racism and full of hatred against the Palestinians and Arabs, while accusing them of being behind [the wave of fires].’
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified yesterday in a statement: ‘These accusations were directed [at the Palestinians and Arabs] even before any investigations were launched. This is part of an inciting and racist systematic Israeli policy, to which the right and extremist right are turning in an attempt to falsely accuse the Palestinians of ‘the sabotage and terror,’ to divert attention from the internal problems that Netanyahu and his coalition are dealing with, and to increase the extremism in Israeli society and broaden the circle of supporters of the right within Israel.’
It [the ministry] noted that the fires in the West Bank broke out in places that from the outset were marked as targets by the occupation and the settlement enterprise, and which are constantly subjected to repeated attacks by the settlers – which testifies to Israel’s intentions to get its hands on those places, and helps to link the fires in the West Bank with the daily attacks by the settlers and the occupation army.
The ministry added: ‘Likewise, this strengthens the assumption that some of the fires that broke out in the West Bank were deliberately set by people in extremist groups of settlers in order to complete their takeover of these areas.’”

Fatah members: Israel is threatening Abbas’ life
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 19, 2016
Headline: “The Church of the Nativity deportees emphasize their support of [PA] President Abbas”

“Fatah Movement activists from the Church of the Nativity who were deported (i.e ., terrorists who held people hostage at the church in 2002, see note below), declared their support of [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas, following the brutal assault by the Israeli government against the president.
The deportees said in a statement that reached [the independent Palestinian news agency] Ma’an that the Israeli government on several occasions has threatened to harm President Abbas…
The deportees warned against the consequences of harming the president, because he is the safety valve of the Palestinian state.”

Siege of the Church of the Nativity - In 2002, during the PA terror campaign (the second Intifada, 2000-2005), Israel launched Operation Defensive Shield in the West Bank to prevent future terror attacks against Israelis. During the operation, 39 terrorists fled to the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, using dozens of hostages and the religious site as shields. After 39 days of siege by the Israeli army, the terrorists released the hostages and were deported to Gaza and Cyprus. During the siege, the church was damaged in exchanges of fire between the terrorists and the Israeli army. One clergyman was killed by the terrorists and 8 terrorists were killed by the Israeli army.
Fatah official: "Israel has surpassed ISIS in its crimes," Israeli government permits "the burning of the mosques by the gangs of settlers"
Source: Ma’an, independent Palestinian news agency, Nov. 16, 2016
Headline: “Zaki: The decision to forbid [the sounding of] the Muezzin in Jerusalem will not pass”
“Fatah Central Committee member and [Fatah] Commissioner for Arab and China Relations Abbas Zaki warned against the danger of the Israeli decision to legislate a law forbidding [the sounding of] the Muezzin (i.e., the person who sings the Muslim call to prayer) in places of worship in the territories that were occupied in 1948 (i.e., Israel), and to legalize outposts (i.e., a bill legalizing Israeli towns in the West Bank)…
Zaki emphasized that Israel has surpassed ISIS in its crimes, and it is currently behaving like a gang of criminals. There is no difference between the destruction of the mosques by ISIS and the ban [on the sounding of] the Muezzin and the burning of the mosques by the gangs of settlers under the official and security cover of the occupation government.”

On Nov. 13, 2016, a bill to ban religious institutions from broadcasting over loudspeakers was approved for a preliminary reading in the Israeli Parliament. The bill is intended to prevent noise pollution. This bill is referred to by many as the "Muezzin Law," although it does not refer to any specific religion.
Other countries have already approved or attempted legislation for regulating the use of loudspeakers in mosques in order to limit noise pollution. These include India, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Turkey, Bahrain, the United Emirates, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, France, the UK, Austria, Norway, and Belgium, and the US. The PA has also passed legislation regarding the use of loudspeakers in mosques in order to reduce noise pollution.
Guest on PA TV: West & America have plan to destabilize the Middle East every 10 years, in order to support Israel which is like a “bacteria” implanted in region
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Nov. 3, 2016
“Fatah Central Committee member [and Fatah Commissioner for Arab and China Relations] Abbas Zaki said that... the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) resolution was a slap on the cheek for him [Netanyahu]… In a radio interview that he [Zaki] gave yesterday [Oct. 25, 2016], he said that the UNESCO resolution was a shock for Netanyahu, who boasted that the land is Jewish and claimed that the world gave him permission to continue his crimes… Zaki emphasized that archaeologists already confirmed in the past that there are no [Jewish] archaeological
Op-ed in PA daily: Israel creates “the international organized terror” and “nourishes and supports” Islamic terror organizations like ISIS
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Oct. 20, 2016
Headline: "ISIS' crime against the Martyrs"
Op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, regular columnist for the official PA daily
"The Martyrs (Shahids) are more noble and honorable than all of us together. They are candles of the path of liberation and return and bearers of the flag of the cause and the people. They are pioneers of self-sacrifice who do not differentiate between 'I' and 'we.' They have risen to the highest levels of integration with the expectations, desires, and goals of the people. Their giving has no boundaries. No comparison can be made between Martyrdom (Shahada, death for Allah) and units of measurement, as self-sacrifice is greater than all the assessments and descriptions…
The tombstones of those who wrote the most spectacular epics in the national history and wrote with their pure blood the most pure, sublime, and glorious pages on the people's golden list have been destroyed by the ISIS Takfiris (i.e., Muslims who accuse other Muslims of heresy) in the cemetery of Martyrs (Shahids) in the Al-Yarmouk refugee camp southeast of the Syrian capital of Damascus, which is still under their rule."

Fatah cartoon: Long-nosed Jew explodes Muslim world
Source: Website of Fatah's Information and ‎Culture Commission, Oct. 18, 2016
Cartoon posted on the website of Fatah’s Information and Culture Commission

Headline:
“No commentary!”
The cartoon shows a long-nosed Jew with an Israeli flag on his arm lighting a fuse to blow up a bomb. Inside the bomb, a Shi'ite Muslim and a Sunni Muslim are lighting fuses to blow up each other.  The cartoon expresses the libel that Jews/Israel seek to destroy the Muslim world, and are possibly taking advantage of the internal Muslim fighting to do so. The cartoon is also critical of the Muslim world, which is depicted as so focused on killing each other that they do not see the Jews taking advantage of it to kill them.

Cartoon in PA daily: Israel controls the US which controls the world
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Oct. 4, 2016

In the cartoon, a small soldier with a Star of David on his helmet is seen giving orders to a taller man with blank eyes, representing the US. The large man's hat is made of the American flag but with a six-pointed Star of David replacing the five-pointed star. The "US" is holding a basketball that resembles a globe, and "Israel" is directing the "US" to shoot the globe-shaped basketball into a basket which is also shaped of a Star of David. Implying that while America controls the world, it is Israel who orders America what to do with the world.

Op-ed in PA daily promotes freedom of speech, but claims "fascist Israel" and America "create international terror"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Sept. 26, 2016
Headline: “The crime of disgrace ”
Op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, regular columnist for the official PA daily, about the assassination of Jordanian writer Nahed Hattar on Sept. 25, 2016, as Hattar was about to stand trial for sharing a cartoon depicting God being treated like a servant by a bearded Muslim.
“The capital of Jordan was witness yesterday [Sept. 25, 2016] to a vile and shameful crime, whose victim was a respected Jordanian publicist. He did nothing other than to share a cartoon in response to the Takfir organizations (i.e., the act of accusing other Muslims of heresy, refers here to ISIS and similar organizations) that harm Islam and Muslims. Martyr (Shahid) of culture and knowledge Nahed Hattar published a clarification, in which he noted what the intention of publishing [the cartoon] was…
The late Nahed Hattar paid with his life in order to defend the freedom of opinion and expression. He refused to conform and bow his head before the terrorist Takfir organizations, the mercenaries of fascist Israel and of America, which creates international terror.”

PA daily: Abbas decries Israel's "daily attacks against the sites that are holy to Islam and Christianity"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Sept. 22, 2016
Headline: “The president delivers the pain and hope of our people to the world at the UN”
“[PA] President Mahmoud Abbas two days ago [Sept. 20, 2016] met with Foreign Relations Commissioner of the European Union Federica Mogherini in New York, and updated her about the latest developments in the situation in the Palestinian territories in the shadow of the continuation of the Israeli escalation in the field of settlement and the daily attacks against the sites that are holy to Islam and Christianity.”

The Palestinians consider any presence of Jews/Israelis at sites they consider holy to be an attack on the site.
Israel was behind Hamas coup in Gaza, and together with US is behind extremist groups in the region who want to divide Arab states according to sectarian and religious grounds
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Sept. 20, 2016
Headline: "[Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu and the French Initiative"
Op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, columnist for official PA daily
"What happened in the southern districts (the Gaza Strip) [parentheses in source] in 2007 (- Hamas military takeover of the Gaza Strip from the PA/Fatah –Ed.) occurred with the support and aid of the Israeli government at the time, which served as a cover and supporting body for the Hamas coup against Palestinian legitimacy for Israeli strategic reasons. Likewise, Netanyahu has no right to talk about the model of extreme countries as long as his country exists. This is because this state was established on the foundations of colonialism and still maintains traditional colonialism in the Palestinian territories, and violates international conventions, regulations, and resolutions, and refuses on principle to pay its dues of the peace process. Therefore, the Prime Minister of the herds of settlers (i.e., Benjamin Netanyahu) has no right to talk about extreme countries, because Israel, and behind it the US, and countries in the region that follow it, are those that allowed the same extremist groups to multiply in the Arab arena like mushrooms [after rain], in order to achieve their goals and take apart and redivide the states and the peoples of the Arab nation into small, religious, sectarian, and ethnic states."

PA Minister of Justice perpetuates libel that Israel committed Sabra and Shatila massacre
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Sept. 17, 2016
Headline: “Abu Diyak: No statute of limitations will apply to the occupation’s crimes”
“[PA] Minister of Justice Ali Abu Diyak said in his statement for the anniversary of the Sabra and Shatila massacre that no statute of limitations will apply to the occupation’s crimes.
Abu Diyak noted that the 34th anniversary of the Sabra and Shatila massacre is a painful anniversary for every Palestinian and free man, and added: ‘On this painful anniversary, our people will not forget the occupation’s massacres that were perpetrated against it, and will not forget the blood that was spilled unjustly and traitorously by the occupation, its army, its gangs, and its settlers.’”

Sabra and Shatila - Sabra and Shatila are Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. In 1982, during the first Lebanon War, Muslim residents of the camps were massacred by Christian Phalangists. Headline:
“Tomorrow is the 34th memorial day of the Sabra and Shatila massacre”
“Tomorrow, Friday [Sept. 16, 2016], will be the 34th anniversary of the Sabra and Shatila massacre that took place on Sept. 16, 1982, in the Sabra and Shatila refugee camp in Lebanon.
The massacre that was carried out against the people of the camp continued for three days, between the 16th and 18th of September, during which many unarmed civilians, men, children, women, and elderly, fell as Martyrs (Shahids), most of them Palestinians. During the massacre, Lebanese also died, and the number of Martyrs was estimated at the time to be 3,500 – 5,000 Martyrs from among the 20,000 people who lived in Sabra and Shatila at the time that the massacre took place.
The massacre began after the Israeli army, led by then Minister of War (sic., Minister of Defense) Ariel Sharon and Rafael Eitan (i.e., then Chief of Staff of the Israeli army), encircled [the camp]. The massacre was carried out far from the media, and melee weapons and other weapons were used in order to wipe out the residents of the camp, while the mission of the Israeli army was to encircle the camp and light it at night with flares... There were only children, elderly, and women in the camp and the armed people killed the women and children, and most of the bodies were [scattered] in the streets of the camp. Afterwards, Israeli bulldozers entered to sweep the camp clean and destroy the houses in order to hide the crime."

PLO official: Israel supplies Palestinians with weapons to create chaos among Palestinians
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Aug. 21, 2016
Official PA TV program State of Politics, hosting PLO Executive Committee member Dr. Ahmed Majdalani
PLO Executive Committee member Dr. Ahmed Majdalani: "The Israelis have never ceased their efforts to infiltrate Palestinian society and destroy it. There are two means for the destruction: Weapons which created the chaos, and drugs... Those are the two dangerous weapons. Weapons have a role in destroying society, weapons that are transferred to gangs that trade in them, transfer them, and sell them have a specific role. They have a specific role and that is the creation of strife and internal pressures... When these weapons have a national role in the resistance to the occupation (i.e., using weapons to kill Israelis), they [Israelis] immediately go and take them away... The weapons they want us to have [are] for internal use, in other words, within Palestinian society, at weddings, circumcisions-"
PA TV host: "In marches."
Majdalani: "In marches you sometimes see in the streets, these foolish marches, or someone whose child excelled in the matriculation exams brings several people who shoot [guns] and shoot some 1,000 bullets."

PLO official claims Israel is trying to "erase" Palestinian culture
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Aug. 20, 2016
Official PA TV program Palestine This Morning, interview with Secretary of the PLO National Committee for Education, Culture, and Science and Chairman of the Palestinian Writers’ Union Murad Al-Sudani about the Palestinian Educational Cultural Forum
Secretary of the PLO National Committee for Education, Culture and Science and Chairman of the Palestinian Writers’ Union Murad Al-Sudani: “The budget allocated by the occupation’s Ministry of Education to the Arab sector in Palestine that was occupied in 1948 (i.e., Israel) is 10 or 20 times more than the budget of the Palestinian Ministry of Culture. They (i.e., Israel) understand the importance of culture, and they are trying to change the Palestinian awareness and erase it (i.e., Palestinian culture).”
PA Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Israel is "falsifying unconfirmed and dubious stories" about humanitarian organizations in "campaign to dry up the funding sources"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Aug. 8, 2016
Headline: “The [PA] Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the UN to show interest in the reports of its representatives in Palestine”
“The [PA] Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the UN’s ignoring the reports of its representatives in Palestine, and the [UN] Security Council members’ ignoring all of these periodic reports, which expose the truth about the occupation and its plans regarding the people and the Palestinian existence in the occupied city of Jerusalem…
A press release from the ministry stated: ‘Israel has recently been escalating its targeting of the aid bodies and various international organizations that are active in the occupied Palestinian territories. The occupation’s steps not only consist of damage to development projects, infrastructures, medical centers, schools, and kindergartens that are funded by the European Union and nations that are friendly to the Palestinian people; they have also reached the point of directly targeting employees of these organizations by falsifying unconfirmed and dubious stories in order to harm the organizations, as recently happened with the [humanitarian] organization World Vision (Israel accused the organization’s Gaza director of transferring millions of dollars in aid money to Hamas’ military wing –Ed.).’
According to the statement, this attack is part of an Israeli campaign to dry up the funding sources of the human rights organizations and the humanitarian organizations that track Israel’s violations in the Palestinian territories.”

Muhammad Halabi, Gaza branch director of the international Christian charity organization World Vision, was indicted by Israel in early August 2016 for using his position to transfer millions of dollars in humanitarian aid to Hamas’ military wing over the course of several years. Fatah libel: Israeli Defense Minister threatened to murder a Fatah Central Committee member
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 27, 2016
Headline: “Fatah: Liberman’s threat to murder leader Muhammad Al-Madani is state terror”
“The Fatah Movement warned of an attack on the life of its [Fatah] Central Committee member, leader Muhammad Al-Madani. It warned of disastrous results if the Minister of War of the occupation government (i.e., Israeli Defense Minister) Avigdor Liberman implements [his threat] to murder him (i.e., Al-Madani)… In a statement published by the [Fatah] Information and Culture Commission, the movement said that the threats of the Minister of War of the occupation state ‘are the true face of the state terror that the occupation government is enacting, and a desperate attempt to prevent Israeli society from learning the Palestinian truth from its firsthand sources.’”

Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman did not threaten to murder Fatah Central Committee member Muhammad Al-Madani. In mid-June 2016 Liberman did cancel Al-Madani’s entry permit to Israel after the Israeli security establishment received information that Al-Madani, who heads the PA’s Committee for Contact with Israeli Society, was working to establish a political force inside Israel that would cooperate with the PA to harm Israel from within. The source of Fatah’s false claims of threats having been made by Liberman to murder Al-Madani remains unclear.
Abbas advisor accuses Israel lobby in Washington of "policy of colonialism" and "methodical forgery of the facts... to thwart the opportunities for peace"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 18, 2016
Headline: “Zumlut: The Israeli lobby is behind the deterioration of the situation in Palestine”
“Advisor to [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas] for Strategic Affairs Husam Zumlut held the extremist Israeli lobby in Washington responsible for the deterioration of the situation in the Palestinian territories by encouraging the occupation, the policy of colonialism, and the creation of [a cover of] defense for the occupation soldiers and settlers to carry out many types of violence and organized terror against our people...
During the speech he gave before American Congress members in Washington in response to the invitation of the Congress’ Foreign Relations Committee, Zumlut emphasized that ‘The extremist Israeli lobby is involved in methodical forgery of the facts and carrying out political blackmail as part of a pre-planned agenda, whose goal is to thwart the opportunities for peace and fight the regional and international elements striving to achieve it…
As part of his response to a question about Congress’ proposed resolution calling for the cessation of financial aid to the Palestinian government due to the government’s payments to the families of Martyrs (Shahids) and prisoners, Zumlut said: ‘This is a Palestinian law, in force since the establishment of the PA, and it is a law that applies to everyone detained by Israel without exception or choice.’ Likewise, he emphasized: ‘This is the right of the families of the Martyrs and the prisoners, and the obligation of the Palestinian government to provide a security plan that will provide a dignified life in the absence of the breadwinner.’”

PA daily op-ed implies Israel is behind ISIS terror attack
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 16, 2016
Op-ed by Yahya Rabah, columnist for the official PA daily and member of the Fatah Leadership Committee in Gaza
Headline: “Questions on terror that arise repeatedly!”
“Nice, France, one of the most beautiful cities of the Riviera on the Mediterranean Sea shore, was the target of a terrifying terror attack. The number of victims that was published is over 100 (sic., 84 were murdered and about 300 wounded in the truck ramming attack), as a result of an intentional car ramming carried out by a terrorist…
Who carried out this act? Is it the ISIS organization? I understand those who believe that the name ‘ISIS’ has become a vague headline, behind which everyone is hiding – those who carry out [the attacks] and even the victim states… and that the terror attributed to ISIS is being orchestrated by international intelligence organizations which have capabilities and knowledge, against targets that are of interest to them specifically. Otherwise, how can it be explained that there are states located in the heart of the region in which the tragic events have been occurring for the past six years (i.e., since the outbreak of the “Arab Spring” in 2011) that have not been harmed by this terror at all, such as Israel? After all, it is located right near the terror centers in Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, and Egypt, and is exposed to Libya and Yemen, and yet nothing has reached it.”

Bastille Day attack 2016 – a truck ramming attack for which ISIS claimed responsibility, in which 84 people were murdered and about 300 wounded in Nice, France, on July 14, 2016. French-Tunisian Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, 31, committed the attack, plowing a 19-ton truck into Bastille Day crowds and opening fire before being shot and killed. Some guns as well as fake weapons and grenades were found in the truck.
PA TV responds to Netanyahu’s requests to Abbas to cease terror glorification: Netanyahu was trying to take advantage of ISIS attack in France to blame the Palestinians for terror
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, July 15, 2016
Official PA TV News, on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s video message of July 15, 2016, to PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas. In the video, Netanyahu called on Abbas to cancel the unveiling of a monument dedicated to terrorist Abu Sukkar and to fire his advisor Sultan Abu Al-Einein for saying, "Every place you find an Israeli - slit his throat." Both the monument and the Abu Al-Einein quote were originally exposed by PMW.

Official PA TV newsreader: “As part of his refusal of all international or Arab efforts to advance the peace process, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu set a number of new conditions for renewing the negotiations, including the firing of [Advisor to PA Chairman Abbas on NGOs and] Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein, stopping what he called the glorification of those carrying out operations (i.e., terror attacks) against Israel on the social networks that belong to the Fatah Movement, the cancellation of the decision to open a memorial site to the most veteran of prisoners Ahmad Abu Sukkar, and stopping the payment of monthly salaries to the families of the Martyrs and prisoners.”
Deputy Secretary of the Fatah Revolutionary Council Fahmi Al-Za'arir: “Netanyahu tried the day after the incident to take direct advantage of the attacks in France, as he thought that in this way or another he could place these incidents at the doorstep of the Palestinian side. This is a public relations campaign in the full meaning of the word.”
