Libels
Additional conspiracies
Libels
Since the Palestinian Authority was established it has systematically indoctrinated young and old to hate Israelis and Jews. Using media, education, and cultural structures that it controls, the PA has actively promoted religious hatred, demonization, conspiracy libels, etc. These are packaged to present Israelis and Jews as endangering Palestinians, Arabs, and all humanity. This ongoing campaign has so successfully instilled hatred that fighting, murder and even suicide terror against Israelis and Jews are seen by the majority of Palestinians as justified self-defense and as Allah’s will.

Throughout history bogus conspiracy accusations have been used to incite hatred, violence, and mass murder. The myriad conspiracy libels concerning Israel, Israelis and Jews are an integral part of the Palestinian Authority’s ongoing hate promotion. PA libels claim that Israel conspires to infect Palestinians with AIDS, spread drug addiction, conspired and successfully murdered Arafat, and more. The PA’s goal has been to inculcate hatred to the degree that fighting and murdering Jews and Israelis will be glorified as heroic self-defense.

Abbas in Antisemitic speech claims Jews' "social role that was connected to usury, and banks" caused Antisemitism, Holocaust; claims some Jews are descended from Khazars; denies Jewish connection to Israel
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Apr. 30, 2018

PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas:  "The sons of Jacob were 12. Where did you bring 13 from? They invented it. Where? In the Khazar Kingdom. When? In the 9th century. It was an irreligious kingdom. Afterwards it became a Jewish kingdom. The emperor converted to Judaism and therefore [the kingdom] converted to Judaism.  Afterwards it broke apart, and all its residents migrated to Europe, and these are the Ashkenazi Jews (this claim is rejected by experts and genetic testing confirms uniform origin of the different Jewish communities-Ed.). The Ashkenazi Jews are not Semites, and they have no connection to Semitism or Abraham, Jacob, or others. It was a Tatar-Turkic state... Second, these Jews who migrated to eastern and western Europe were subjected to massacres by some state every 10 to 15 years from the 11th century until the Holocaust that took place in Germany. OK, but why did this happen? They say: 'Because we are Jews.'...  The hatred of the Jews is not due to their religion, but rather due to their social role. If so, it's a different issue. And therefore, the Jewish problem that was common in all of the states of Europe against the Jews was not due to their religion, but rather due to their social role that was connected to usury, and banks, and so forth... Now we are talking about the Jewish homeland. They are talking about longing for Zion and that's why they are going [there] and so forth. I say - not me, rather history says that these words are baseless."

Fatah official: “Israel is creating pretexts to empty Jerusalem of its [Arab] residents;” Israeli home demolitions lead to high rates of early marriages among Palestinians in Jerusalem
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Apr. 21, 2018
Official PA TV program Wildflower on difficulties Israel causes Palestinian women, hosting Fatah Revolutionary Council member Salwa Hadib and Public Relations Director for the Jerusalem Institute for Societal Development Amanah As'ad

Fatah Revolutionary Council member Salwa Hadib: "The issue is that Israel is creating pretexts to empty Jerusalem of its [Arab] residents, hence the destruction of homes, the expropriation of lands, settlement, and the wall – all of these lead to a situation of loss and break up the family. In other words, if the homes are destroyed, it leads to poverty, unemployment, and social ills, the most important of them being early marriage. The highest rate of early marriage in Palestine is found in Jerusalem. The highest rate of divorce among the Palestinian women and child wives is also in Jerusalem. Therefore there are very negative ramifications-"
Official PA TV host: "If so, we are of course going to talk about social ramifications."
Salwa Hadib: "Yes, the main one of them being the destruction of homes in Jerusalem."
Fatah spokesman repeats libel: Israel wants to “crush” the Arab world, “steal its resources”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Apr. 15, 2018

Special broadcast from the 29th Arab League Summit in Saudi Arabia

Fatah Spokesman Osama Al-Qawasmi: "Israel is thinking about how to completely be done with the Palestinian people, and the issue of Jerusalem, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Church of the Sepulchre, in order to completely break the Arab dignity. Afterward, its aspiration will be to turn to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, and all of the Arab countries. Israel stands behind the American invasion of Iraq. Israel stands behind the American bombings in Syria. It wants the Arab countries to be crushed, and wants to steal their resources. It wants the Arab countries to be broken apart, poor, and involved in conflict with each other... It wants to completely unravel the Arab identity in order to guarantee its existence and aspirations and realize its economic, military, and political superiority in the region... Whoever views Israel as a friend is completely mistaken. Israel wants to divide the Arab states and it does not exempt anyone. It controls the American decision- making and the American Congress. It is pushing the American administration and planning the need for it to invade all of the Arab and Islamic countries."

Abbas’ advisor: Palestinians should come to the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron and preform Ribat there, “to thwart the plans of the occupation and its settlers to turn it into a Jewish synagogue”

Sec-Gen of PA Islamic-Christian Council: Israel “has been waging a war against the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem since 1969, as Jewish extremists set the Al-Aqsa Mosque on fire in 1969”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Mar. 1, 2018
“At a press conference held by the [PA] Ministry of Information in Ramallah yesterday [Feb. 28, 2018] under the title The Consequences of Israel Imposing Taxes on the Churches in Jerusalem, Muslim and Christian clergymen emphasized that the [failure of] the decision to obligate the churches of occupied Jerusalem to pay taxes (the proposed tax would not apply to churches but rather only to properties belonging to churches –Ed.) is due to the will power of our people in Jerusalem and the united stand of its Muslims and Christians…
[Secretary-General of the PA Islamic-Christian Council for Jerusalem and the Holy Places and Fatah Revolutionary Council member] Dr. [Hanna] Issa said: ‘Israel is attempting to weaken the Palestinian presence of Muslims and Christians in Jerusalem through this. It has been waging a war against the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem since 1969, as Jewish extremists (sic., he was a mentally ill Christian Australian) set the Al-Aqsa Mosque on fire in 1969, and this was also preceded by the burning of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre on June 7, 1967 (PMW could find no record of such an event –Ed.).’”

Fatah official, speaking on Abbas' behalf: US embassy move and recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital will be "thwarted;" Zionism "is striving to take over the world's resources by force"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Feb. 7, 2018
"In his speech on behalf of the president [Abbas], [Fatah Central Committee member and Fatah Commissioner for Arab and China Relations] Abbas Zaki said that US President Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and transfer his country's embassy to it will be thwarted thanks to the Palestinian resolve, thanks to the resolve of the entire world – Muslims, Christians, and Jews – against this foolish decision, and by imposing international isolation on the US and the occupation… He said: 'Our conflict is not with the Jews, but rather with Zionism, which has no values and principles, and which does not attach importance to rights and laws. It includes people that are not Jews and is striving to take over the world's resources by force… [Zaki] said: 'Our position is strong - we reject that any mosque should constitute an alternative to the Al-Aqsa Mosque. One hundred and thirty-eight states in the world recognize the State of Palestine, and we demand that they revoke their recognition of Israel…' He added that the Palestinian leadership has objected to the decision to denounce [Chairman of Hamas’ Political Bureau] Ismail Haniyeh as a terrorist (he was added to the US terror list; see note below –Ed.)."
Fatah official demonizes Israel as the source of terror in the world

Official PA TV, special broadcast on responses to US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and transfer the US embassy to Jerusalem, hosting Fatah Revolutionary Council member Adnan Ghaith

Official PA TV host: “Mr. Adnan Ghaith, much was said at the international [UN] Security Council in its urgent meeting, and much of it pointed to how this [American decision] feeds the fanaticism, tension, and extremism in the region. Israel, as a terror state, is the highest form of terror...”
Fatah Revolutionary Council member Adnan Ghaith: “Certainly, what the Israeli occupation is doing against our Palestinian people in general and in occupied Jerusalem is the height of terror. In other words, the one that murders innocents in the streets and roads, the one that closes the places of worships to the worshippers, the one that allows the settlers and the patrons of the settlers to burn children and attack homes and property, the one that does all this- is carrying out ethnic cleansing against the rightful inhabitants, the owners of the land – this is the height of terror. But let me say the truth – Israel, in other words the Israeli occupation government, would not dare to continue with this terror if not for the American cover... Think that today, when the position of the US supports this Israeli occupation, we therefore say to the US: ‘In the eyes of the Palestinian people and the eyes of our people in Jerusalem you have become partners of this occupation and its crimes, its terror, and its violence against our people and against the Palestinian people.’ If there is terror in the world, its foundation is the Israeli occupation government. The one that feeds ISIS and takes care of ISIS is this Israeli occupation, and the world must completely recognize that the one that is involved in this terror is the Israeli occupation, the height of terror in t
Op-ed in official PA daily claims Israel and the US were behind deadly terror attack in Egypt
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 26, 2017
Excerpt of an op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, regular columnist for the official PA daily

“The Takfir (i.e., the act of accusing other Muslims of heresy) terror struck again, [this time] at a mosque in the Al-Rawda area east of Bir Al-Abd in the northern Sinai district, and claimed over 300 Martyrs (Shahids) and 130 wounded (see note below –Ed.). This is a shocking and bloody massacre that was committed by savages against innocent civilians as they prayed the Friday prayers…
Time will tell, after the investigations expose the secrets, divergences, and scope of the barbaric crime, because the one who stands behind it – regardless of the name of the organization to which he belongs, and regardless of the pretexts he promoted for his horrible crime – is Israel and the US. [My] intention is not to absolve the Takfir organizations of blame because they are the cheap and cowardly pawns for carrying out the most horrible acts of terror against defenseless civilians…
There is an American-Israeli decision – which is being implemented by their pawns, starting with the Muslim Brotherhood organization and ending with the last of the Takfir organizations – and that is to continue weakening Egypt, at least, particularly because the main goal of their plan is to tear unified Egypt into small and scattered states.”

Fatah official: Israel “nurtured the ISIS terror organization”
Source: Amad, independent Palestinian news website, Nov. 24, 2017
Headline: “Alayan: The Israeli occupation is treating the wounded of ISIS in its hospitals”
“Fatah Movement leader Raafat Alayan said that those who support the terror organizations are those who derive benefit from shaking the stability of Egypt, and added that the Israeli occupation is the one who nurtured the ISIS terror organization, and the one who opened its hospitals to the wounded of this terror organization.
In an interview with [the Egyptian satellite channel] Al-Ghad [Al-Arabi], Alayan added that Israel is the one who treated all of the Takfir (i.e., the act of accusing other Muslims of heresy) cells in its hospitals and provided them with financial support and weapons, and said: ‘Egypt must not be left alone in this battle.’
Alayan continued and said that what exists in the Arab region, and in Egypt and the Sinai in particular, are not terror cells but rather an organized terror organization supported by states that are known among many of the Arab states, and so too are the funding sources of these terror organizations.”
PA Minister of Tourism: Israel, not Hamas, is behind destruction of archaeological sites in Gaza in order to “erase the Palestinian narrative in the face of the occupation’s false Israeli narrative”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 16, 2017
“In 1998, the PA appointed a French delegation… to conduct excavations at the Tel Es-Sakan archaeological site, which is in the Al-Zahra area in the south of the city of Gaza, but these days it is being leveled and destroyed, despite the decision of the [PA] Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities that defines this as a crime.
[PA] Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Rula Maa’yaa emphasized yesterday [Nov. 15, 2017] that, ‘All of the activities of leveling the ground and destruction at the Tel Es-Sakan archaeological site are illegal’... Historians and experts say that this is an archaeological site from the ancient Bronze Age (3,300-2,300 BCE), and that it is the most ancient fortified Egyptian administrative center in Palestine…
Maa’yaa emphasized that there is no connection between these activities and the Palestinian people... She said that those who are doing this are pawns of the occupation (sic., Hamas has been destroying the site to create military bases), who are serving to erase the Palestinian narrative in the face of the occupation’s false Israeli narrative, according to which it has first rights to the land of Palestine, and this is by destroying the archaeological and historical sites in Palestine.”

Gazan official on PA TV: The Balfour Declaration was “part of a colonialist plot to rip apart our Arab nation and uproot Palestine from [its] heart”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Nov. 10, 2017
National Action Committee Secretary and senior official of the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front in Gaza Mahmoud Al-Zaq: “Palestine was an issue in relation to all the free forces in the world, and it is an issue of struggle. Those who participated in the self-sacrificing activity were not just Arabs, rather there are also people from all around the world who participated [together] with us in the modern Palestinian revolution..."
Official PA TV host: “Mr. Mahmoud, what pushed these people to join the ranks of the Palestinian revolution despite not being Palestinian?" [...]
Mahmoud Al-Zaq: “The free peoples of the world saw the Zionist movement as one who was the facilitator and pawn in the service of the colonialist force in the world. Palestine and the Palestinian people were the victim of this international colonialist plot in the entire region, and Palestine is at the heart of this region, and therefore the Balfour Promise (i.e., Declaration) came as part of a colonialist plot to rip apart our Arab nation and uproot Palestine from the heart of our Arab nation based on a colonialist policy to destroy our Arab nation and assist the theft of the resources of the peoples of our Arab nation.”

PLO official, amid condemnations of terror attack against Egyptian soldiers, connects attack to “the Zionist enemy’s” alleged promotion of terror in the region

Palestinian Liberation Front (i.e., member of the PLO) political bureau member Muhammad Al-Soudi said in a press release that the crime that was committed against the heroic Egyptian army soldiers in northern Sinai is not unrelated to the phenomenon of terror in the region, which is sustained by the aggressive forces in the region and prime among them the Zionist enemy, which is focused on taking apart the Arab nation, its states, and its capabilities, and keeping it busy with disagreements that divert it from the struggle against [the Zionist enemy] and its aspirations in Palestine and the entire Arab region.”

PA Government claims rebuilding of Silwan synagogue south of Al-Aqsa “constitutes a new aggression against Jerusalem” and was done for political, not religious, reasons
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Sept. 26, 2017
Headline: “The [PA] government: The participation of senior Israeli officials in the inauguration of a synagogue south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque is a new aggression against Jerusalem”

“The [PA] national unity government said that the participation of senior Israeli officials in the ‘inauguration’ of a synagogue south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque constitutes a new aggression against Jerusalem, and a serious blow to the natural status and the Arab-Islamic landmarks of the city (refers to the reinauguration of a historical synagogue; see note below –Ed.).
Official [PA] Government Spokesman Yusuf Al-Mahmoud said in a statement yesterday [Aug. 25, 2017]: ‘The [Palestinian] national unity government thinks that the establishment of a synagogue in Silwan, south of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, stems from purely political reasons that are connected to the character of the Israeli occupation government. [The synagogue] is part of the settlement enterprise and has no connection to religion’…
Al-Mahmoud again mentioned the warnings of the leadership and government against the government of Israel’s policy, which is liable to lead to religious wars that nobody wants. He demanded that the international community and free world intervene to put an end to the tensions immediately, and act seriously to establish peace and security in the entire region.”

Silwan synagogue – the Ohel Shlomo Synagogue – A historical Yemenite synagogue in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem, which was destroyed after the British expelled the Yemenite Jewish residents of the neighborhood in the 1930s amid Arab riots. In 2015, the Jerusalem District Court evicted an Arab family that was living in the building, and members of the Jewish Ateret Cohanim organization moved in. The synagogue is now being restored (2017).

Thousands of innocent people were murdered in three days by the Zionist army (sic., the massacre was committed by Christian Phalangists; not the Israeli army) and its mercenaries from among the Lebanese forces. The stomachs of the pregnant women were slashed, and the children and elderly were massacred in a spectacle that was fascist, criminal, and shameful to mankind.”

“Tomorrow, Saturday [Sept. 16, 2017], is the 35th anniversary of the Sabra and Shatila massacre that took place on Sept. 16, 1982, at the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps in Lebanon…
The massacre began after a siege by the Israeli army led by [Israeli] Minister of War (sic., Defense) Ariel Sharon and [Israeli Army Chief of Staff] Rafael Eitan. This massacre was carried out far from the media outlets, and in it small arms and the like were used in the acts of eliminating the residents of the camp, and the Israeli army’s mission was to surround the camp and light it up at night with flares (s ic., the Israeli army was unaware of the Christian Phalangists’ intentions and did not have a “mission” in the massacre).
The Israeli occupation army and the South Lebanon Army, which cooperated with it, surrounded the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps, and hundreds of armed people were let in on the pretext of searching for Palestinian fighters, while there were only children, elderly people, and women in the camp (s ic., the overwhelming majority of those killed were men). The armed people murdered the women and children and most of the bodies were left in the streets of the camp, and afterwards the Israeli bulldozers came in to sweep away the camp and destroy the homes in order to hide the crime (sic., Israel did not try to hide the incident but held the Kahan Commission of Inquiry to investigate it).”

Fatah official accuses Israel of being a part of colonialist plan to segregate Arab states
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Sept. 15, 2017
Headline: “The [PA] Ministry of Information held a conference regarding the Palestinian petition to the UN”
“The [PA] Ministry of Information in Ramallah yesterday [Sept. 14, 2017] held a political conference regarding the Palestinian petition to the UN and [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas’ speech at the 20th session of the UN in September 2017 in New York.
Fatah Movement Central Committee members [Fatah Commissioner of Treasury and Economy] Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh and [Fatah Commissioner for Arab and China Relations] Abbas Zaki spoke at the conference…
Zaki emphasized that the colonialist states have a plan prepared since the time of Muhammad Pasha (i.e., an Ottoman Albanian who became the ruler of Egypt and who is considered the founder of modern Egypt because of the numerous reforms he made), according to which Arab states will become states divided into sections and will be financially, industrially, and militarily subordinate to the superpowers, particularly after the discovery of oil in the Arab Gulf states. Israel was a product of the colonialist states in the past, and afterwards the US came and took [over] the colonialist project through its continued control of the world, and the Arab states in particular, and defending Israel as its station and military base. However, with the passing of years, Israel has become a burden to [the US].”
