We will continue our struggle until we obtain our goals, an independent state whose capital is Jerusalem – and Haifa, Lod, Jaffa, and Safed (i.e., Israeli cities) will remain in our minds and thoughts, and they are dearer than us.
He also praised the path of struggle of the Palestinian people, and its willpower that has created schools for heroism since the Al-Karameh battle and what came before it, and until this day. Fatah official expresses support for Syrian regime; supports various methods of "struggle", including with weapons; condemns US peace conference and "normalization" with Israel
Source: Facebook page of Fatah’s branch in Syria, Feb. 19, 2019
Fatah Central Committee member and Fatah Commissioner for Arab and China Relations Abbas Zaki: “Syria’s tragedy is the Palestinian tragedy…
We have never had the fighter’s rest. We are fighting and bearing the flag in turn: once with weapons, once with popular resistance, and once with diplomatic, political, and organizational activity. If the flag falls in one arena, it is raised in another arena. Our custom is to continue [with the struggle] without relating to what is taking place around us... We have sworn that we would boycott the US, refuse the deal of the century (refers to US President Donald Trump’s as yet unpublished Middle East peace plan –Ed.), and condemn anyone who attempts to implement normalization [with Israel] or bypass the PLO… No one will dare to publicly declare their treason, because their people will slaughter them even before we take any step.”

Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Feb. 18, 2019
“PLO Executive Committee Secretary Saeb Erekat said yesterday [Feb. 17, 2019]: ‘The deduction of the salaries of the prisoners and Martyrs’ (Shahids’) families from the tax money (refers to Israeli law deducting terrorist salaries from PA tax money; see note below –Ed.), which Israel intends to carry out, is part of the Israeli-American plan to destroy the PA, in parallel with disconnecting the Gaza Strip from the West Bank. This plan is the “deal of the century” (refers to US President Donald Trump’s as yet unpublished Middle East peace plan –Ed.).’
In statements that he gave to [the official PA] radio [station] The Voice of Palestine, he added that Israel will carry out this step after it has denied all of the signed agreements… Erekat turned to the Arabs and said: ‘Those who are going to Warsaw – what are they going for? You spoke about the Arab Peace Initiative. What has changed that you are rewarding [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu?’ He emphasized that those carrying out normalization with Israel are sticking a knife in the back of the [Palestinian] people.”

In statements he gave at the end of the summit of senior Arab officials, which the Arab Parliament held at the Arab League headquarters with the participation of several former and present Arab heads of state and ministers, Erekat said: 'All of the participants in the summit focused on one central point – the Palestinian cause.' …"

Senior Fatah official Jibril Rajoub:
"Once again, we hope that the Arab Summit will emphasize that normalization and ties with Israel – as long as Palestine is occupied – are taboo... We do not want to see Israelis in the Arab capitals – not for purposes of sports, not for purposes of economy, not for purposes of cooperation, and so on. As long as the Palestinian state has not been established, this must remain taboo."

Fatah spokesman: Warsaw conference is "plot"; “Any Arab meeting with Netanyahu or any type of normalization with the occupying Israeli entity is tantamount to a knife [in the back] of Jerusalem, our people, and the flowing Palestinian blood”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Feb. 10, 2019
Headline: “Fatah: The goal of the Warsaw plot is to eliminate the Palestinian cause”
“The Fatah Movement emphasized that the goal of the Warsaw plot (i.e., Warsaw Conference; see note below) is to eliminate the Palestinian cause, and that it constitutes an American-Israeli attempt to execute the deal of disgrace (i.e., “the deal of the century,” refers to US President Donald Trump’s as yet unpublished Middle East peace plan) and to advance ideas that only those who betray Jerusalem, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre can agree to or cooperate with.
[Fatah] Revolutionary Council member and [official] Fatah Spokesman Osama Al-Qawasmi emphasized in a press statement that any attempt to bypass the PLO… is doomed to certain failure, and that the only body that is authorized to speak on behalf of the Palestinian people is the PLO…
Al-Qawasmi said: ‘Any Arab meeting with [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu or any type of normalization with the occupying Israeli entity is tantamount to a knife [in the back] of Jerusalem, our people, and the flowing Palestinian blood, a free gift to Tel Aviv, and encouragement for its occupation and its crimes.’”

Al-Anjari noted: ‘I will never carry out normalization with the [Zionist] entity; it is the least I can do for Palestine and the members of its people. This position is the position of the entire Kuwaiti people, and not only of Abdullah [Al-Anjari].’”

In January 2019, Kuwaiti jiu-jitsu fighter Abdullah Al-Anjari chose to withdraw from the All Americas Jiu-Jitsu Tournament in Los Angeles rather than fight an Israeli opponent, Eitan Seri-Levi.

Fatah official is against “Judaizing” and “desecration of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque plazas” by Israel; “Normalization with [Israel] under any pretext constitutes part of the growing plot against our people’s struggle”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 11, 2019
"Fatah Movement Central Committee member and [Fatah] Commissioner for Arab and China Relations Abbas Zaki said that the reports in the Israeli media about the visits of official Arab delegations to the Israeli entity (apparently referring to reports in January 2019 that at least 3 delegations from Iraq visited Israel in 2018 –Ed.) , 'if their validity is proven,' constitute a deep stab to the heart of the Palestinian national conflict...
Zaki added that ‘these reports’ are arriving in the shadow of the large battle that our people is waging in Jerusalem – which the settlers are treating as they please under the protection of the occupation forces, the American administration’s recognition of Jerusalem as the Zionist entity’s capital, the Israeli Parliament’s laws about annexing Jerusalem and Judaizing it, and the desecration of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque plazas by the settlers through recurring invasions and the threat to destroy the walls of [the Old City of] Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque…
Zaki emphasized that normalization with the occupation under any pretext constitutes part of the growing plot against our people’s struggle. He explained that the Palestinian people, through its struggle, has always constituted an impregnable wall against the colonialist Zionist project that wants to take over the resources of the Arab peoples, and against the spread of Zionism towards the Arab region.”

Dec. 2018 poll: Majority of Palestinians call other Palestinians who sell property to Israeli Jews in Jerusalem “traitors”; 64% say sales should be punished by the death penalty
Source: Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PSR), Dec. 27, 2018
“An overwhelming majority of the public (88%) designate other Palestinians who sell property to Israeli Jews in East Jerusalem and other occupied territories as traitors while 9% call them corrupt and unpatriotic.
Three quarters believe that the current penalties for sale of property to Israeli Jews in East Jerusalem and other places do not provide a deterrence against such sales while 14% believe the current penalties provide a sufficient deterrent. When, in an open question, we asked the public to identify a deterrent punishment, about two-thirds (64%) said it is the death penalty while 22% said imprisonment.
Findings show that more than three quarters (78%) are dissatisfied and 17% are satisfied with the measures taken by the PA to deter sale of properties by Palestinians to Israeli Jews.”

Note: “These are the results of the latest poll conducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PSR) in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip between 12-16 December 2018… Margin of error is +/-3%.”

Palestinian Journalists' Syndicate calls on all Palestinian media outlets "to settle accounts with anyone who has participated in a visit to and any activity of normalization with the occupying entity"

Fatah official is against normalization of Arab countries’ relations with Israel, because Israeli leaders, the “criminal Zionist entity,” “murder our young people, destroy our homes, and desecrate our holy sites”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Nov. 27, 2018
Official PA TV News, hosting Fatah Central Committee member, Fatah Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization in the West Bank, and PLO Central Council member Jamal Muhaisen

Fatah Central Committee member, Fatah Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization in the West Bank, and PLO Central Council member Jamal Muhaisen: “From here, from Jerusalem, we send a message to our Arab brothers who welcome the leaders of this criminal Zionist entity. As long as they murder our young people, destroy our homes, and desecrate our holy sites, the time has come for our Arab brothers to accept upon themselves the decisions of the Dhahran Committee (i.e., 2002 Arab League summit in Beirut that produced the Arab Peace Initiative conditioning ties with Israel on a peace deal)… These processes of welcoming the leaders of the Zionist entity in an Arab capital are a service to the Zionist entity and a deviation from morals, religion, politics, and that which is customary and accepted – and even from Arabness. Therefore, I again say we will not act politely with any one of them. Now we say: ‘Stop this free normalization’… In the end, we turn to the Arab members of our people – if you care about Jerusalem and if Jerusalem is one of your holy sites and part of your faith, you are welcome to tell your rulers: ‘Enough.’”
Fatah official condemns US-led anti-Hamas resolution; says Fatah "opposes making any accusation of terror against Palestinians in any form;" condemns Arab countries’ normalization with Israel
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 21, 2018
“Fatah Movement Central Committee member [and Fatah Commissioner of Treasury and Economy] Muhammad Shtayyeh said two days ago [Nov. 19, 2018] that Fatah is ready for a full national reconciliation [with Hamas]… He emphasized that the Palestinian position, which opposes the so-called ‘deal of the century’ (referring to US President Donald Trump’s as yet unpublished Middle East peace plan –Ed.), was adopted following the decisions and steps that the Trump administration actually took... Shtayyeh added: ‘America wanted to lead us to a political massacre, through which it would eliminate the Palestinian national cause.’
Shtayyeh emphasized that Fatah opposes the draft resolution being formulated in the American Congress to condemn the Hamas Movement. He explained that the [Fatah] Movement opposes making any accusation of terror against Palestinians in any form…
Shtayyeh also spoke about the topic of normalization. He said that it is sad to see that the Arab Peace Initiative is being ignored, and that Israeli is being given what it desires without paying the political price. He also noted that the secret normalization process has become overt, and this means that the Arab Peace Initiative has been cancelled and that the Palestinians must depend on themselves.”

Headline: "The break-in to a [Jerusalem] district building –message understood"
"'Message understood. We will not heed it and will not abandon the members of our people in occupied Jerusalem, and we will continue to act for them' – this was the position of senior officials from Jerusalem in response to the break-in by occupation forces into a Jerusalem district building… District Governor of Jerusalem Adnan Ghaith said to WAFA: 'The message that the occupation wanted to convey to us is that we will not operate in Jerusalem, but Jerusalem will remain the place to which our faces are lifted. What occurred was an attack with American backing against the institutions, against our people, and against everything Palestinian.' … Fatah Movement Secretary in Jerusalem Shadi Mattour said: 'We will continue to pursue those who illegally transfer property in Jerusalem to the occupation. These steps by the occupation will not prevent the members of our people from excommunicating them and stopping them in order to protect the property in Jerusalem from Judaization.' … Mattour explained: 'Even if they target the offices and institutions, we will work from the street in order to serve the members of our people in Jerusalem.'"

PLO official condemns Israeli normalization with UAE, claims Israel government is “murdering our children, women, young people, and elderly”
Source: Donia Al-Watan (independent Palestinian news agency), Oct. 31, 2018
"PLO Executive Committee member [and head of the PLO Military and Security Department] Saleh Rafat strongly condemned the fact that the [United] Arab Emirates state is normalizing its relations with the Israeli occupation state, by hosting Israeli Minister of Communications Ayoob Kara yesterday [Oct. 30, 2018], and Israeli Minister of Culture and Sport Miri Regev a few days earlier, in the capital of the Emirates, Abu Dhabi. Rafat said today (Wednesday) in a statement: 'It is shameful that the Israeli national anthem is being played in Arab states, while Arab Palestine is collapsing under the occupation's tyranny and its violence. [It is shameful] that Arab states are becoming a podium from which the Israeli war criminals – who are treating our land as theirs and murdering our children, women, young people, and elderly – are giving speeches. Kara's visit to the Emirates and Israel's speech at the International Telecommunication Union Plenipotentiary Conference at the Dubai World Trade Center (delivered by Ayoob Kara; see note below –Ed.) is normalization granted to Israel for free.'"

PLO decides to cut economic and security ties and freeze recognition of Israel, reiterates "our right to resist the occupation in all manners," opposes Taylor Force Act
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Oct. 30, 2018
“The Palestinian [PLO] Central Committee decided to end all of the commitments of the PLO and the PA to the agreements with the occupation authority ‘Israel,’ and primarily the freezing of the recognition of the State of Israel until [Israel] recognizes the State of Palestine in the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.... The Central Council also decided in its statement yesterday evening [Oct. 29, 2018] after the conclusion of the 30th regular session in Ramallah... in the presence of [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas, on the ending of the security coordination in all of its forms, and economic disengagement, in light of the fact that the transition period, including the Paris Agreement, is no longer valid…
The Central Council emphasized its adherence to our right to resist the occupation in all manners ‎(i.e., term used by Palestinians, which also refers to the use of violence and terror)‎, in accordance with international law. It praised the resolve of the prisoners of freedom in the Israeli occupation’s prisons… The Council opposed the American extortion - the Taylor Force Act, and the Israeli government’s decision to deduct the allowances (mukhassasat) of the families of the Martyrs, prisoners, and wounded from the Palestinian tax money, while blatantly violating international law...”
