Fake history: PA TV teaches about the “Arab-Amorite-Canaanite-Phoenician” roots of a former village southwest of Jerusalem

Official PA TV program This is Palestine, on the Arab village of Sufla that was displaced in the 1948 War of Independence

Official PA TV host: “The village of Sufla is located southwest of Jerusalem, at a distance of approximately 24 kilometers. The territory of its lands reaches more than 2,060 dunams (2.06 million square meters -Ed.)… In the Arab-Amorite-Canaanite-Phoenician language (sic., the Amorites, Canaanites, and Phoenicians were not Arabs) exists the word ‘shiflah,’ which means ‘lowland’… In the ancient Arab languages exchanging ‘sh’ and ‘s’ is something known and common.

Many of the names of the ancient villages and sites in our land, and particularly the Arab-Amorite-Canaanite ones, derive from the geographic location or the shape of the site…

The Zionist organizations destroyed the village, expelled its residents, and erased it in the cursed year of 1948.”
