The cartoon shows the mother of a dead terrorist “Martyr,” who is wiping her tears and sitting next to him while he is lying wrapped in a Palestinian flag with his face masked by a keffiyeh (Arab headdress). The mother is making an ululation sound of joy “lu lu lu,” with the Arabic letters gradually transforming into a what appears to be a noose and eventually into a tear drop.
