Fatah spokesman: US demand that Al-Einein be fired for glorifying a murderer is “scandalous”

On May 2, 2013, Abbas advisor Sultan Abu Al-Einein glorified a murderer who killed an Israeli father of five on April 30, 2013. In response, five members of US Congress wrote a letter to Abbas demanding Abu Al-Einein be removed from office.
Headline: “Abu Aita to ‘Amad’: ‘The American Congress’s request to deport Abu Al-Einein is scandalous audacity and prejudice in favor of Israel’”
“[Fatah spokesman in Gaza] Fayez Abu Aita said in a phone conversation with ‘Amad,’ a Palestinian news site, that Abu Al-Einein is expressing the protest of a nation whose land has been occupied, and that he is a historic leader in the greatest Palestinian national movement: The Fatah movement. He noted that what [Abu Al-Einein] said against Israel and the settlements stems from the movement’s positions…”

Note: Sultan Abu Al-Einein is an advisor to PA Chairman Abbas on NGOs and a member of the Fatah Central Committee.
