Representing the El-Bireh municipality were Mayor of El-Bireh, Fawzi Abed his deputy Mahmoud Shaltaf, members of the city council and several municipality unit directors and heads of departments. Abad said that the municipality of El-Bireh decided to name a street for Hugo Chavez as a token of appreciation for his supportive positions regarding our people’s rights. In his turn, [Ambassador] Daniel thanked the municipality of El-Bireh for the initiative proving the depth of the two nations’ relationship.”
