PLO Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs says 6,300 Palestinians currently imprisoned in Israel

The number of Palestinian prisoners in the occupation’s prisons has reached approximately 6,300 prisoners, 57 of them female prisoners, 10 of whom are female minors, 300 children, and 486 administrative detainees, along with 11 PA Parliament (Legislative Council) members.”
Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights – Founded in Gaza in 1999, its stated goals are the promotion and protection of human rights in Palestine, and especially in the Gaza Strip.
