Palestinian social media celebrates bus bombing in Jerusalem that injured 21

“The hashtags #We_left_a_sign_for_them and #The_flying_bus_roof have stirred up emotions on social media since last night [April 18, 2016] with blessings on the Jerusalem operation (i.e., bus bombing attack, 21 injured).
Young Palestinians from all over Palestine have posted responses mocking the occupation and threatening the Israeli soldiers, after the first self-sacrifice (Fida'i) operation (i.e., suicide attack) carried out since the beginning of the popular uprising in the Palestinian territories.
The tweeters on social media used hashtags and pictures to express the joy flooding them after they heard the news of the operation.
[Independent Palestinian news agency] Donia Al-Watan has followed the responses of the Palestinian public through these hashtags in order to see the extent of the mockery of the occupation soldiers and the blessings of this operation.
It should be noted that the expression 'flying bus roof' was a famous expression of Hamas leadership member Martyr (Shahid) Abd Al-Aziz Al-Rantisi (i.e., co-founder of the terrorist organization Hamas) during the Jerusalem Intifada at the end of 2000 (i.e., PA terror campaign 2000-2005), and the [new] operation took place on the anniversary of his death as a Martyr."

Jerusalem line 12 bus bombing – On April 18, 2016, a Hamas terrorist, Abd Al-Hamid Abu Sorour, 19, carried out a suicide bombing attack when he placed a bomb on bus no. 12 in the Talpiot neighborhood in southeast Jerusalem. 21 people were injured in the attack. Abu Sorour, died of his injuries a few days later in an Israeli hospital.
Yahya Ayyash - The first Hamas bomb-maker and leader of Hamas’ Izz A-Din Al-Qassam Brigades in the West Bank, he is considered the initiator of Palestinian suicide bombings and nicknamed “the engineer.” He built the bombs used in many terror attacks, including the Mehola Junction bombing (2 killed, 9 injured, April 16, 1993), the Afula bus bombing (8 killed, 55 injured, April 6, 1994), the Hadera central station bombing (6 killed, 30 injured, April 13, 1994), the Tel Aviv bus 5 bombing (22 killed, 47 injured, Oct. 19, 1994), the Ramat Gan bus bombing (6 killed, 33 wounded, July 24, 1995), the Ramat Eshkol bus bombing (5 killed, over 100 injured, Aug. 21, 1995), and the Bet Lid bombing (22 killed, 66 injured, Jan. 22, 1995). He was killed by Israeli security forces on Jan. 5, 1996.
