PA TV host laments that Muslims haven’t contributed to humanity, but Jews, “the worst among men,” have Nobel Prizes, positions in banks, and made many “scientific, medical, and economic discoveries”

Official PA TV host Imad Hamato: “Unfortunately, we have learned to only depend on others. Therefore we have lost the spirit of creation, production, and creativity, and have become a kind of leftovers, and have lived at the expense of others. Let us say that if the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) or one of the other international institutions were to stop the aid to the Palestinian people, we would collapse and die of hunger the very next day. That is the situation. We are a lost nation, because we think that Islam is only ideas and words and positions. Only Friday sermons and sermons from the pulpit, without understanding the nature of life, the process of life, and the process of industry, and economy, and production, and existence . The Muslim needs to express his identity through what he gives to humanity. How can we be an example to humanity when we come to this world like blind men? We come while dependent on others. We do not give to humanity. Think about the Nobel Prize winners, and how many of them are Jews. Think about how many Jews there are in the world banks, the administration of universities, parliaments, what their part is in the scientific, medical, and economic discoveries. We as a nation have been defeated by the Jews in every field. And we say that they are the worst among men: ‘You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews’ [Quran, Surah 5:82, Sahih International]. This is not a fitting way to manage things.”
