PA daily: Visits of “groups of Jewish settler gangs” are “invasions” and “desecration” the Al-Aqsa Mosque

Headline: “Settlers held Talmudic prayers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the occupation army”

“The blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque was witness yesterday [Feb. 6, 2017] from the morning hours to consecutive invasions by groups of Jewish settler gangs, which held Talmudic (i.e., Jewish) prayers there amid reinforced protection by the occupation’s special forces. All of this was while tension prevailed at the mosque, and amid the protest calls of ‘Allahu Akbar’ (i.e., “Allah is greatest”) that were heard from the worshippers against the desecration of the blessed mosque.”

The PA and its leaders consider all of the Temple Mount an integral part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Therefore they view any presence of Jews on the mount as an “invasion.” It should be noted that Jews who visit the Temple Mount only enter some sections of the open areas, and do not enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque or the Dome of the Rock.
