Fatah official: Judaism is a religion, not a nationality, therefore “has no homeland”

Fatah Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization in the West Bank and PLO Central Council member Jamal Muhaisen: “We will never agree to a state being established on the basis of religion. A state such as this will be the height of bigotry , for [religion] is a divine message, and is not nationalism. As the religion of Islam and the Christian religion, so too the Jewish religion – it has no homeland. This is a divine message, and therefore we recognize it, and we do not recognize it as nationalism.”
