Minister of Religious Affairs Yusuf Ida’is, says that Israel wants to destroy the Al-Aqsa [Mosque], and that it sent Denis Rohan in 1969 to burn down the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Minister of Religious Affairs Yusuf Ida’is: “Ever since Israel occupied the eastern part of the holy city [Jersualem], it has been trying to take over the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and destroy it in order to establish its alleged Temple in its place. It [Israel] sent, I repeat sent, either knowingly or according to its plans, the criminal who set the Al-Aqsa Mosque on fire in 1969, the damage of which to Al-Aqsa is evident until now, as the walls on the holy plaza in Jerusalem are cracked and heavily damaged, and signs of the fire are visible to the eye until today.”
