[Minister] Saidam emphasized the significance of this project, which is taking place at the same time as the incessant Israeli attack against [Palestinian] education in general, and against the Palestinian curricula in particular. He emphasized that the one that should be held responsible is the occupation, which has murdered hundreds of children and students…
The representative of the French Consulate emphasized that protecting the Palestinian children from violence is the duty of all the international organizations and bodies, 'as it is their right to live in security and peace, like the rest of the world's children.'
Atir noted that the children must be made aware of and educated about the culture of non-violence and s trengthened in light of the occupation's repeated systematic attacks against them…
